Lee Graden Weinland II of Sun City died July 7, 2003. He was 73. Originally from California, he worked as a manager for an automotive company. He is survived by his wife, Betty. Menke Funeral Home.
Len Zbierski of Sun City West died July 28, 2003. He was 74. He moved to Arizona in 1991 from Green Bay, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and worked as an office manger for Green Bay Packaging Co. for 28 years. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; four daughters, Roxsann Schodeberg, Cheryl Skaleski, Sandi Carrington and Leann Erbrecht; one brother, Howard, who lives in Sun City West; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Delores "Dee" Lambert, 68, of east Mesa, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2003, in Mesa. Ms. Lambert, a bookkeeper, was born in Snellman, Minn. She is survived by her daughters Elaine Lambert-Williams and Donna; son Jonathan; mother Elma Busse, sister Mary, brothers Don, Jack, Gerry, David, and Mark and five grandchildren. Ruth Marie Balmes, 60, of east Mesa, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, in Mesa. Mrs. Balmes, a homemaker, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Faigle, Valerie Redding and Marie Zabel; step-daughters Debbie, Elaine and Allison, son Doug Anderson, step-son Hap, sister Anne Breig, brother James Mason, 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
