Miriam K. Ifft, 82, a homemaker, died May 12, 2003. She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Ellwood City, Pa., and moved to Arizona in 1983. Survivors include her husband, Lewis, a daughter, Janice Hoffmann; two sons, Thomas and Lewis; a sister, Janice Bader; and seven grandchildren. Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel.
Thomas Joseph O'Neill, 90, of Sun City, an accountant, died May 10, 2003. Originally from New York, Mr. O'Neill served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marie. Menke Funeral Home.
Leonard P. Seeman, 88, of Sun City, a government technician, died May 14, 2003. Born in Joliet, Ill., he moved to Arizona 24 years ago. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Zinzer; and two sons, James and Leonard. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services.
Betty Mae Snyder, 77, of Youngtown, a homemaker, died May 6, 2003. Born in Brownstown, Ill., she moved to Arizona in 1981. Survivors include, her daughter, Cynthia D. Price ; her son, W.A. Mary E. Spangler, 92, of east Mesa, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, in Mesa. Mrs. Spangler, a homemaker, was born in Joliet, Ill. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Elizabeth Kuehling and Sarah Gottermeyer; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jacqueline E. Hofmeister, 76, of east Mesa, died Monday, May 14, 2003, in Mesa. Mrs. Hofmeister, a cashier, was born in Illinois. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Jean Friederich and Becky Sue Beyer; her brother Robert Hein; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
