Nancy J. Knudson 63, Sun City, died Sept. 9, 2003. She was born in Portland, Nev., and moved to Arizona from Seattle, Wash. She was a nurse for 38 years, 18 years in Phoenix. Mrs. Gilbertson is survived by husband, Larry of Sun City; sons, Randy, Tim, Bill, and Jim Knudson; step-son, Larry Gilbertson; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Kelly Knudson and grandson, Daniel Knudson. Arrangements by Best Funeral Home.

Irene S. Danner, 92, Sun City, died Sept. 1, 2003. She was born in Pekin, Ill., and moved to Arizona in 1973 from Illinois. Ms. Danner was a widowed homemaker. She is survived by son Gregory Danner and sister Dodie Miller. Arrangements by Advantage Golden Door Chapel.
Althea B. Schulz, 85, Sun City, died Aug. 30, 2003. She was born in Mazon, Ill., and was married for 63 years. Mrs. Schulz was a member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Sun City and both her and husband Bill were Sun City Posse members from 1990-2000. Mrs. Schulz is survived by husband, Bill; sons Roger T. Schulz, Richard D. Schulz and Reed P Schulz; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Sunland Mortuary.
Harriet M. Horstmann, 86, Sun City West, departed this life Sept. 2, 2003. Services were held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church Sept. 5.
Lois M. Cory, 85, Sun City, died Aug. 28, 2003. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cory is survived by husband, Robert. Arrangements by Sunland Mortuary.
Irma C. Cox, 91, Sun City, died Aug. 26, 2003. She was Indianapolis, born in Ind., and moved to Arizona from Indiana in 1977. Ms. Cox was a widowed house mother. Arrangements by Advantage Golden Door Chapel.
John E. Jensen, 85, Sun City West, died Aug. 28, 2003. He was born in New London, Conn., and moved to Arizona in 1991 from Beverly Hills, Calif. Leon B. Willner, 78, Sun City West, died Sept. 3, 2003. He was born in New York City and moved to Arizona in 1994 from California. Mr. Willner was a financial executive and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was also a member of the Sheriff's Posse of Sun City West. Mr. Willner is survived by wife, Elizabeth; sons Mark and Ross; daughter Karen; and two grandchildren. Arrangements by Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel.
Arthur N. Anderson of Sun City West died Aug. 25. He was 80. He was a school administrator for 35 years, retiring in 1985. He moved to Arizona in 1991 from his native Connecticut. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla; daughter, Mary Samuelson; sons Arthur T., Ross and Paul; sister, Ellen Olson Hamden; and nine grandchildren. James R. "Jim" Dutton of Sun City died Aug. 22, 2003. He was 80. He was a vice president/general manager with Bunge Corp. and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Naval Air Corps. Survivors include his wife, Dottie. Menke Funeral Home.
