ARRISON, John Charles, 82, died November 14, 1999. Survived by son, John Arrison, Jr. of Texas and daughter, Patricia Crosby of Florida; grandchildren, Amber Ojanpera of MN and Stephanie McMahan of TX; great-grandchildren, Samuel Arrison, Nicholas Akard and Tabitha McMahan all of Texas; former wife, Carmen Arrison of Tucson. DUDO, Jeffrey Mark, 19, of Tucson, died suddenly November 17, 1999. God loving son of Gary and Patricia M. Dudo; grandson of Dorothy Dudo, Frank B. and Magdalena Maish; and brother of Gary Dudo. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass will be offered Saturday, 12:00 Noon, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., celebrated by Rev. Robert Brazaskas. JARDINE, Gladys C., 88, died November 14, 1999. Mother of Paulette (Thomas) Izydorski; grandmother of Jennifer (Andrew) Taylor and Todd Izydorski. She was preceded in death by husband, John Jardine. PERCY 'PAT' E. JOHNSON, 92, passed away November 15, 1999. Mr. Johnson was born August 30, 1907 near Martinsville, Illinois and in 1942 married Genevieve Harris of Newton, Illinois. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of Newton, a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Patron of the Newton Eastern Star. He spent 40 years as a member of the University of Illinois staff (1930-1970). He was largely responsible for the University of Illinois Brownstown Experiment field being located in that area and responsible for many other experiment fields including Oblong, Newton and West Salem, Illinois fields. He held farmers soils and crop meetings during winter months from 1940-1970. Mr. Johnson retired in 1970, moved to Arizona for his wife's health and sold real estate in Tucson for five years. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Genevieve, of 55 years and is survived by one son, Richard Johnson of Tucson; a daughter, Rebecca Hillman of Carbondale, IL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 19, 1999 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Road, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Committal to follow at East Lawn Palms cemetery.

KRAWCZAK, Michael L., age 47, at home with our Lord October 29, 1999. Beloved son, brother of 10 and special uncle. Memorial Mass, Saturday, November 20, 1999, 11:00 a.m., St. Cyril's Church, Pima and Swan.

JOSE R. 'CHORO' LOPEZ, 84, a retired laborer for Southern Pacific Railroad, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 16, 1999. He was born November 02, 1915 in Baca Nora Sonora. He is survived by children, Frank (Connie) Lopez, Irma (Oscar) Daniels, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona; his parents, and grandson, Rene. He was a musician and loved music. He was also a barber for the Playboy Barbershop. Visitation will be held at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., on Friday, November 19, 1999 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Lawn cemetery. Arrangements by MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS.

RAMOS, Irene Matas, 57, died in a car accident October 31, 1999 in El Monte, CA. Survived by son, Rene 'David' Ramos; grandson, Gabriel Ramos; sisters, Naomi (Frank) Alvarez, Natalie (Edward) Laguna, Christy (Frank) Jacques; nieces and nephews, Bettina and Stephanie Alvarez, Priscilla (Rey) Bussari, Carlos (Letty) Alvarez, Naomi (Carlos) Alvarez, Avron, Jessie Laguna, Frank, Vanessa and Vyola Jacques.

RODRIGUEZ, Shane, Jr., 11 days, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away November 17, 1999. Survived by grandparents, Oscar and Susan Tovar, Pete and Petra Lopez; parents, Shane Rodriguez Sr. and Cecilia Lopez. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 1999 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (Center Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. Graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. at Holy Hope cemetery. 'Even though we only knew you a short time, we will miss you forever.' Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

LOIS B. TRIPLETT passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on the morning of November 16, 1999. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Grace Brandel, and is survived by her husband of 66 years, William W. Triplett; and sisters, Edythe Geitz (Albert), St. Petersburg, Florida; Grace Campbell (George), Tucson, Arizona; and brothers, John Brandel, Arlington Heights, Illinois; Richard Brandel, Barrington, Illinois; Donald Brandel, Florida.
She was Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of the Board of HDS Services and Trettco, Inc. of Tucson and Farmington Hills, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Triplett moved to Tucson from Michigan in 1986 and opened the west region office of HDS Services.
Memorial services will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Tucson, Friday, November 19, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Memorial Garden of St. Marks. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lois B. Triplett Memorial Fund of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1431 Magee Road, Tucson, Arizona 85704. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee.

URDEA, Walter O., 41, entered eternal life on November 14, 1999. He is survived by his father, Octavian W. Urdea; his sister, Melanie (Scott) Williams and nieces, April and Jayne Williams. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Urdea and his mother, Jeanette (Herman) Urdea. Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 19, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. in EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road with Rev. Les Plattner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

BERNAL, Juan J., 85, passed away November 17, 1999. He is survived by wife of 61 years, Teresa; children, MaryLou (Ralph), John (Yolanda), Madge, Armando (Adela), Margarita (Mel), and Martin (Patsy); sister, Beatrice (Bob) Kremer; seven grandchildren, numerous nephews and friends. Rosary will be held on Friday, November 19, 1999, 8:00 p.m. at San Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone. Mass to be celebrated on November 20, 1999 at 12:30 p.m. at San Augustine Cathedral; interment at Holy Hope cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cathedral Maintenance Fund. RICHARD E. BERRY, 56, Arizona native, born November 5, 1943, peacefully passed into the hands of Our Lord, in the presence of his family and friends on November 17, 1999. Richard courageously fought a two month battle against cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine; two children: daughter, Kimi; son, Kenneth and his pride and joy, grandson Hunter. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth Hughes; brother, Ron; pal and special mother-in-law, Frances Montlary; special sisters, Betty JoAnn, Ginny and Patrice; nephews, Phil and Curtis; nieces, Debbie and Pam; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; also his loving and faithful pets, Rex and Meja. Richard served in the U.S. Marines, was a U of A graduate and proudly cared for others as a dedicated pharmacist for 31 years. He enjoyed the outdoors as a fisherman and hunter. Special thanks go to the healthcare staff at Northwest Hospital and Fran with Vista Care. Richard will be greatly missed by many people whose lives he touched with his kindness and love. Memorial service will be held in the Cathedral of St. Luke's with Fr. Jerry Bouck officiating. Innichement will be in Evergreen cemetery at a later time. CORTEZ, Juanita Bacanora, 84, died November 16, 1999. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Fernando Cortez; daughter, Irma Pesquiera; nieces, Irene (Tony) Garcia, Anna Maria (Rudy) Aguilar, Rebecca Renteria Gilbert, Becky Cortez, all of Tucson, Madeline Bullford and Rita Razo both of California; nephews, David (Lydia) Morelos and Bobby Cortez both of Tucson; sister-in-law, Dora Cortez of Tucson. Also survived by many friends and family. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 1999 at BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 22, 1999 at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone. Burial in Holy Hope cemetery. PATRICIA A. DIXON - Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 1999.
Survived by brother, Donald (Linda); daughters, Deborah (Craig), Michelle; sons, James (Dori), Robert (Joanne); ex-husband, Gilbert A. Lerua; ex-husband and soul mate, Jack B. Martin, Jr.; and grandchildren, Holly, Amy, Heather, Ian, Lindsey, Pat, Ryan, Jay, Erin, Elisa, Briana and Robin. preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Marion Dixon.
Born in Cleveland, OH (April 4, 1930), she moved to Tucson with her parents and brother at age 16. She graduated from Villa Carondelet High School and St. Mary's Academy of Nursing, and ultimately completing her professional training at the University of Arizona College of Nursing – Nurse Practioners Program.
A natural performer, Patti, was a dedicated member of the Tucson Good Time Singer's and the Tucson Horizon Chorus; chapter's of Sweet Adeline's. Although only 4'11' tall, Patti's deep, rich bass singing voice as a cornerstone to two Nationally competitive quartets.
Patti was also a dedicated professional, caring for her patients at Pima Care/Group Health, Thomas Davis Clinic, Planned Parenthood of Arizona and Tucson Medical Associates. She volunteered her time at Sun Sounds by reading for the visually impaired.
True to her Irish roots, she was always ready with a good joke, a lover of animals and a friend to everyone she met. Patti lived life to the fullest, never missing the opportunity for a challenge, or to try something new. If asked to describe Patti, one word would come to mine…spirit. She was a kind soul who will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 8650 N. Shannon Road, Monday, November 22, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in Patti's name at the Humane Society of Tucson, Sun Sounds, and the American Cancer Society.

JAY ALAN ESTEES, 19, of Tucson, died suddenly November 15, 1999, the innocent victim of a neighborhood shooting. Beloved son of Christ and Barbara Estees; grandson of Charlene M. Estees and Anne E. Wickersham; and brother of Brian A. Estees, Randy A. Estees and Nathan A. Estees. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 21, 1999 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson. Memorial services will be held the following day, Monday, November 22, 1999 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the burial. Flowers may be sent directly to South Lawn Funeral Home.

FRAZIER, Mary E., 76, of Tucson, died November 13, 1999. preceded in death by husband, Lewis 'Bud' Frazier. Survived by son, Rick Frazier of Tucson. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 1999 at Flowing Wells Kingdom Hall, 1743 W. Wetmore Road.

KOLEAS, Ronald D., 34, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999. Survived by wife, Nancy; father, Richard D. Koleas; twin brother and family, Robert, Laura, Kathleen and Davis Koleas of Laguna Niguel, CA; maternal grandfather, H. Joe Hawkins; paternal grandparents, Kathleen Goode and Demetrius Koleas of Memphis, TN; many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ron was CFO for Western Emulsions, Inc., a local family business. He was also assistant head usher and lay minister for Faith Christian Church. Ron was involved and supported various Christian organizations and charities including Campus Ministries of Arizona (a ministry of Faith Christian Church), The Providence Foundation in Charlottesville, VA and The Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Tucson. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 22 at Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway Blvd., with Pastor Steve Hall of Faith Christian Church officiating. Interment follows in East Lawn Palms cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Crisis Pregnancy Centers, 2502 N. Alvernon, Tucson, 85712. MAYKULSKY, Ruth - As you know, I reluctantly passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at 12:50 a.m. I was born in New York City, NY. My parents preceded me in death as did my husband, Walter W. Maykulsky in 1986. I am survived by my daughters, Roberta and Pamela Fargo; my grandsons, Brandon, Nicholas and Daniel; my brother, Joseph Stevens and wife, Josephine; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and I believe many dear friends. MORRIS, Jane, 77, of Tucson, died November 12, 1999 at home. Born August 10, 1922 in Bellaire, OH. Married to John B. Morris for 55 years, they lived in Pasadena, CA for 32 years. They retired in Tucson 11 years ago, enjoying the clean warm air and many wonderful friends. She was active in many clubs and organizations including WAAIMEs (Women's Auxiliary of American Institute of Mining Engineers) and the Chi Omega Alumni Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Judy McCarroll; son, John R. Morris; grandsons, Michael and Charles McCarroll, all of CA; brother, Robert T. Reeder of Golden, CO. Memorial service 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 1999 at The Rain Bow Chapel, Rose Hills Mortuary, Whittier, CA. Burial to follow at Riverside National cemetery.
