DONNA LYNN CUPITO - Donna was born February 12, 1957 in Panama City, FL and her little heart quit December 27, 1999 in Tucson. Beloved daughter of Michael and Edna Cupito of Tucson; also survived by uncles, John (June) Morris of Panama City, Sam (Dorothy) Cupito of San Clemente, CA, Anthony (Jo) Cupito of Kansas City; aunt, Josephine Hansen of Kansas City; cousins, Larry Morris of Pensacola, FL, J.P. Morris of FL and Wesley Morris of MI. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Donna was a graduate of Sahuaro High School and Pima Community College and a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Choir. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday in the Mortuary Chapel. FRIES, Richard C., 81, of Tucson, joined his wife, Virginia in death on December 28, 1999. Richard, is survived by three daughters, Janet Howells of Tucson, Penny Vogt and Linda Laird of Allentown, PA. IONA HANSEN - Was born January 5, 1916 in Homer City, PA, and went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 28, 1999. Iona is survived by her sons, Rick (Darlene) and Lynn (Cathy) Hansen; and two brothers, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Iona Hansen moved from Homer City, PA to Tucson in 1937. She worked as a librarian for TUSD until her retirement in 1982. She was an active member of the Southern Arizona Hiking Club for many years. She enjoyed making flower arrangements at Life Care Center where she spent her last two years. Before moving to Life Care Center, Iona was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Funeral services, 9:30 a.m., Friday, December 31, 1999 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, with burial to follow at South Lawn cemetery. RUTH MARIE HUNTER, 82, of Tucson, Arizona, died peacefully in the morning of December 28, 1999. preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Hunter. Ruth is survived by her brother, Franklin (Betty) Hansen of St. Paul, Minnesota; niece, Betsy Bequette of Vancouver, Washington; nephew, Jim Hansen of Galena, Illinois; stepson, Leslie (Beth) Hunter of Tucson, Arizona; and grandchildren, Amanda and Lars Hunter of Tucson.
Born in Innver Grove, MN on June 4, 1917, Ruth grew up in St. Paul, eventually moving to Albuquerque, NM and then to Tucson in 1982. During a lifetime of work, Ruth was a dispatcher for a trucking company, a secretary in a bank, and a secretary at the Episcopal Cathedral in NM. After Arthur suffered a debilitating stroke, Ruth gave him years of loving care in their home. She was devoted to her two cats and to her sewing and crafts friends at Grace-St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
The family wishes to thank June and Tim S. and staff of the Quality of Life assisted care home for the loving and personal attention given to Ruth during her struggle with Alzheimer's.

MARK JOHN KLEINSMITH, 48, passed away December 27, 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Albert H. Kleinsmith and stepfather, Robert D. Bogue. He is survived by his devoted mother, Marsha Bogue; three children, Baird, Wade and Abigayle; his stepdaughter, Leslie; his fiancee, Melanie Bouchard; his brother, Steve Kleinsmith and two sisters, Jane Kleinsmith and Patricia Dickens. Born in Davenport, Iowa, Mark moved to Tucson at the age of three and attended Cragin Elementary, Doolen Junior High and Catalina High School. Mark graduated from the University of Arizona, Suma Kum Laude and later continued on toward a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. Mark's tenacity and zest for life was evident in his many accomplishments, from numerous top awards for swim competitions, to his political involvement in school serving as Student Body President, to product design and development for which his perception for success was obstructed by his demise. In his lifetime, Mark touched the lives of many, each in a special way. May we be encouraged by Mark's exceptional enthusiasm for life and let that memory find a place in our hearts always. Services will be held Monday, January 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1949 E. Helen, Tucson, Arizona. Burial will follow at East Lawn Palms cemetery. LOUIS A. MANN, age 82, of Tucson, passed away December 24, 1999. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Frederick E. (Eva), Edward M. (Mary), and Robert W. Mann. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Grace; stepdaughters, Donna (Bob) Harrah of Citrus Heights, CA, and Christine (James) Hunter of Lincoln, CA; brother, John C. (Ruth) Mann of Oak Park, IL; sister, Florence L. (Edward) Buhle of Val Paraiso, IN; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Louis was a Past Master of the Masonic United Lodge 211 in Glenview, IL, active in V.F.W. Post 4905, life member of the Royal Order of Moose 1964. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 1999 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb with Father Knapp celebrating. ROBBINS, Lawrence S., died of complications from a stroke at Tucson Medical Center on December 19, 1999.
He was a graduate of the Choate School in 1926, Yale in 1930, and Harvard with an MBA in 1932. In 1928 he was featured in the National Geographic Magazine with 27 other young college students for having swam the Hellespont.
With the outbreak of WWII he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the Naval Reserves, and spent the majority of the war in Washington, D.C., in war planning.
At the end of the war he joined the investment firm of Hayden Miller in Cleveland and was made a general partner in 1951. In 1961 he was made vice president of Fahey Clark & Company and when Fahey merged with Ball, Burge and Krause, he became vice president of that company.
In 1968 he left Cleveland with his wife Barbara, to pursue a life long dream of ranching, and moved to Patagonia, where he developed one of the finest small registered herds of Hereford cattle in the state. He was a forceful advocate of the preservation of the natural beauty of the region. He was responsible for telephone service and utilities being brought into the San Rafael Valley, all underground.
He was a member of Los Charos and the Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson.
His wife, Barbara Woolworth Miller Robbins died in 1998. He is survived by sons, Peter M. of Tucson, Tyler B. of Gates Mills, Ohio; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be at the Little Outfit Ranch in Patagonia at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, 8 January.

DAVID WANN - David Lucius Wann, 79, died peacefully on December 28, 1999 at Hospice Villa Campana. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marjorie; daughter, Susan Benton; son, David Wann, Jr.; son-in-law, Lee Benton and grandchildren, Colin Wann, Elizabeth Wann, Timothy Benton and Matthew Benton.
David was born in Terre Haute, Indiana August 7, 1920. He graduated from De Pauw University and was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He then went to Notre Dame University Naval Training School and was assigned to U.S. Navy duty in the Atlantic. He was Executive Officer on a ship that landed at Omaha Beach in Normandy, on DDay, 1944.
His career with American Can Company began in 1946. His positions included National Management and Financial Director of the International Division. He and Marjorie lived in Mexico City for ten years. In 1981 he returned to Tucson, and in retirement years he served on the vestry of St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church, did international consultant work in Mexico and Israel and enjoyed golf and travel. Especially memorable in his commitment to his family. Family members are grateful for his love and support. He had an enduring, lively sense of humor and keen interest and understanding of domestic and international economics. He will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

LEE, Virginia Marie, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 1999 after a valiant fight with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Portland, Oregon to Herbert and Nora Cauble on June 13, 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and her husband, Freeman Greene Lee. She had two children, Gary (Valerie) of California and Sharon (Bob) Whitney from Tucson. She had six grandchildren, Billy, Lance and Somer Rae Lee and James, Gregory and Michael Whitney. Memorial Services were held in California on December 30 at Redwood Chapel. We wish to thank the warm and caring nurses and staff at Desert Life Care Center, Reflections Unit, especially Margie, Sherrill and Donna and the special Hospice staff who made her final days peaceful.
REUSSER, Vivian, age 94, born October 23, 1905, passed away December 15, 1999 in California. She was a 55 year resident of Tucson, where she and her late husband, Theodore R. Reusser, established Tucson Medical Laboratories. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Ted in 1992; and daughter, Jane Kengla; and sister Marvel Scofield. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Sally Eccleston; sons-in-law, Barney Kengla and Bill Eccleston; five grandchildren, Polly Kengla Grimm, Ted Kengla, Christopher Kengla, Ellen Sletten and Jim Eccleston; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside gathering and interment will be held on Monday, January 3, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at South Lawn Memorial Park, 5401 S. Park Avenue, Tucson.
