CHEPIL, Andrew, 84, of Tucson, died February 19, 2000. He is survived by his loving son, William, his wife, Jackie, and their children, Nicole and Andrew, all of Tucson. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave at Magee, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2000. Graveside Services will be held at Holy Hope Mausoleum, Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at 10:00 a.m.

DEMPLE, Harold F., 81, passed away February 19, 2000. Survived by wife, Roma; son, Michael L. and wife, Sheila; daughters, Mary L., Angela M., Loretta M., Melissa A.; grandsons, Aaron M. and Kevin R. Demple, Dylan Chavez. preceded in death by daughter, Valeire J. Demple. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Interment East Lawn Palms cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses for Harold will be appreciated.

GRAY, Mabel E., 87, passed away February 19, 2000. Survived by daughter, Laura Walters and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Greg, Chad (Angela), and Ryan (Debra); great-granddaughters, Nichole and Taylor. JAMES ARTHUR HARRIS, 45, went home to his Heavenly Father on February 15, 2000, after a very long illness. He was predeceased by his dad, Robert J. Harris. Jim will be continually loved and missed by his mom, Elaine Harris; brothers, Robert D. (Nita) PA., Ronald C. (Jessica); niece, Jennifer Harris; nephew, Nicholas Harris; uncle, Don Dupee; aunts, Audrey MacDonald, CT, and Marvel Dupee, plus numerous cousins. Donations of remembrance in his name may be made to TMC Hospice, 5301 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712. We thank all who gave him tender, loving care. HEIGHT, Elgene, 76, died February 18, 2000. Mother of Ronda Jean Height, Sondra Jill (Joe) Height-Graham, Zane Height, and Michael Lee Height; sister of Leona Wade and Alvey French Burdette. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Eugene Height. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, with Pastor Earl H. Robold officiating. Donations may be made in Elgene's memory to your local Humane Society. HIGDON, Chlover Laura Lindsey, Age 92, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2000 surrounded by those she loved. She passed away at the home of her granddaughter, Meg Nuckols. She is survived by her only daughter, Nola (Larry) Matthews; granddaughter, Meg (Bryan) Nuckols; and great-grandchildren, Catie, Lauren, Morgan and Jacob all of Tucson. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Jessie Wilkie of Asheville, NC and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Flora Lindsey, her husband Lloyd Higdon, five sisters and two brothers. She was the last surviving member of a Klamath Basin pioneer family.
She was a charter member of First Baptist Church in Klamath Falls, OR. After moving from Oregon to Tucson in 1986 she was a faithful member of Sabino Road Baptist Church.
The family would like to express our gratitude to those who helped care for her during her last months. We would especially like to thank Dorothy and Dana from Hospice Family Care.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. with Dr. James Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Klamath Falls, OR. Donations should be made to Sabino Road Baptist Church.

MATUNE, Penny J., age 50, died Wednesday February 16, 2000. Survived by fiance, Dan Edler; sons, Mark and Phillip both of Tucson, and Keith of Chicago IL. BADE, Dorothy, a resident of Tucson for 64 years, passed away February 18, 2000. preceded in death by husband, A.E. 'Jack' Bade, who was the Assessor of Pima County for many years. Survived by nephews, Warren Gathje of Sun City West, AZ; James Kettelson of Houston, TX; Tim Goffar of Florence, OR; niece, Sarah Baumer of O'Fallon, MO; numerous great-nieces and nephews. Dorothy was born in Davenport, IA October 8, 1907. For 25 years she was office manager of the Tucson Clinic. Dorothy and her husband were long time members of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and gave the chimes in the tower and new equipment for the sound booth. She was active in the Women's Group and for many years served as a circle leader. Memorial Service Noon, Wednesday, February 23 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1949 E. Helen. BECHTOLD, Katherine Christine, 86, died February 21, 2000. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

AURORA BRASKER, 93, of Tucson, passed away on February 19, 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert I.; one son, Robert R.; and one grandson, David Garza. She is survived by her two daughters, Emma (Leonzo) Garza, Mary Barnett; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion for many years. She was an avid knitter and volunteered her services to the 'American Red Cross' and 'Bundles for Britain' organizations. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at South Lawn cemetery, with a Visitation one hour prior at the mortuary. GRAM, Erik, 81, of Tucson, died February 19, 2000. Born May 9, 1918 in Denmark. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII, and was Chief Engineer on the first nuclear powered cargo ship 'Savannah'. Survived by a niece, June Hansen; nephew, Henry Hansen, both of Olympia, WA; sister-in-law, Camilla Mencinger, brother-in-law, Bill Mencinger, both of Tucson; sister, Bertha Carstensen; brother, Alfred Gram, both of Denmark; many other nieces and nephews. preceded in death by his wife, Kirsten Gram. MARTINEZ, Antonio E., 64, of Tucson, died February 19, 2000. preceded in death by his wife, Alicia, May 30, 1999. He is survived by his loving and devoted children: son, Tony; daughters, Cynthia Riggs and Rosalie Nelson; and his many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ROUSH, Patricia G., September 16, 1930 to February 20, 2000. Our beloved mother has finally joined her father in heaven. She is survived by her children: Jim, David, Patricia Daniel (Steven), John G., Michael (Saundra), Janie McMahan (Gary), Steven and Richard; her grandchildren, Bob, Beth, Jill, Brad, LeAnn, Lisa, Robert, Ryan, Alex, Hilary, Jeremy and Jason. STOOTS, James R., died February 19, 2000 in Tucson. He was born October 27, 1939. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Katherine M. Stoots; one son, William Robert Stoots; two daughters, Shelly Lynn Stoots and Teresa Ann Prince; three brothers, Walter Pierce, Paul Pierce, and William Chamble'e; three sisters, Loretta Arriaga, Paulette Pierce, and Anita Gould; mother, Elizabeth Morrison; and 11 grandchildren. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers family would like donations to Carondelet Hospice, 1802 W. THOMAS, Lois Ann, 49, of Tucson, passed away on February 15, 2000. She is survived by one son, Damon and one daughter, Trinette. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at 10:00 a.m at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY. Interment to follow at South Lawn cemetery.

WHITE, Earl Delap, 90, of Tucson, AZ, died Monday, February 21, 2000. preceded in death by wife, Mabel; and daughter, Edith. Survived by son, Morris (Lucky) of Washington State; daughters, Dallas (Ed) and Lila (Jim) of Arizona. A resident and active church and community statesman of Mammoth, AZ. He retired from Pinal County and moved to Catalina, AZ in 1974. He was a faithful man of God, a good husband and father. He was a role model for all who knew him. He leaves 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and five great-great-grand- children. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends who cared for him at Mt View Care Center.
