ESTEP, Kevin David, 38, of Tucson, our loved one, departed into eternal life on March 29, 2000. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle. Kevin is survived by his mother, Rita Estep; father, David Estep; his sister, Kim Fischer; his brother, Kenneth Estep; his daughter, Danielle; and his four sons, Kyle, Kory, Devon, and Tyler. ZWICK, Marion Carl, 84, of Tucson, passed away April 1, 2000. He was born in Louis- ville, Ohio, July 26, 1915 to his parents, John and Bertha, including nine brothers and two sisters. He moved to Tucson in 1950 along with his wife, Genevieve Goulsberry, whom he married
in 1944. In the years as a resident of Tucson, he was a master carpenter and homebuilder, chose wisely as a businessman, provided well for his family and fell into the step of being a great friend to many. He was an active member of the St. Cyril Catholic Church and proudly supported and participated in the Senior Citizen Group.
Marion is survived by his wife, Genevieve ‘Jenny', of 55 years; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, some of which have had the pleasure of sharing Tucson and his stories. He will be deeply missed, but his voice and presence will remain.

BARNEY, Wayne K., our dear father and loving husband, passed away April 2, 2000 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family in Safford, Arizona after a long and hard fought struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was born October 1st 1929 in Thatcher, Arizona to Orin Buren Barney and Opal Johnson. He lived his boyhood years in Safford, then moved to Clifton where he graduated from high school. He attended EAC, Arizona State and University of Arizona where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Mining, and Master of Science in Metallurgy. He married
Pauling Young April 30, 1954 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple and they were approaching their 46th wedding anniversary this month. He was employed by General Electric in Schenectady, New York where he was a nuclear plant manager. After 15 years in New York, he moved his family to Downer's Grove, Illinois and was employed by Argonne National Labs on the Experimental Breeder Reactor II Project. This project led to a transfer to Idaho Falls, Idaho at the INEEL Site where he remained until 1983. He then moved to Carlsbad, California, with southern California Edison where he worked in nuclear power plant safety at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant. He retired in 1995. After he and his wife served a mission for the LDS church in Birmingham, Alabama, they moved back to his home town of Safford, Arizona.
Wayne was a kind-hearted, generous person who placed the welfare and comfort of others above himself. He spent his life serving his family and others, including church members, co-workers, business associates, and even strangers. Countless people scattered across the country have been touched by Wayne's selfless actions. He was a man of the highest integrity, a devoted husband and father, and humble servant of the Lord. We miss him already, but are comforted knowing that he has returned in glory to his Father in heaven.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 6th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Terry Johnson presiding and conducting. The family prayer was given by Pace Barney. Keith Barney presented the life story, and Bishop Boyce McBride offered a sermon. Three musical numbers were performed by Wayne's grandchildren and son-in-law. Interment was at the Safford Union cemetery in Safford, AZ.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Pauline Young Barney of Safford; and his eight children and 26 grandchildren: Ronnie Kingsbury of Carlsbad, CA; Allison Geisler of Idaho Falls, ID; Cheryl Anderson of Salt Lake City, UT; Keith Barney of Alpine, UT; Rachel Jensen of Farmington, UT; Frances Williams of Mesa, AZ, Pace Barney of Boise, ID; Beth Udall of San Clemente, CA. Also survived by his two brothers, Bevan Barney of Safford, AZ and Kenneth Barney of Corona, CA. preceded in death by his parents, Orin and Opal Barney and his sister, Geraldine Cocks.
BIANCO, Richard Gray, local artist and sculptor, died Monday, April 3, 2000 at the age of 37. A native and life long resident of Tucson, he attended Salpointe Catholic High School and the University of Arizona. Mr. Bianco is survived by a daughter, Britni and son, Ty and by their mother, Deni of Seattle, Washington. Other survivors include his mother, Barbara Yocum Bianco of Tucson; his father, Ralph Bianco of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Lisa Makovic (Paul) of Tucson and Victoria Orlich (Todd) of Phoenix and by his grandmother, Shirley Yocum of Tucson. BURTON, Billy J. - Bill went to be with the Lord and Savior on April 1, 2000. One of nine children, he was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on January 3, 1933 to Dovie and Aaron Burton. An Army veteran, Bill served his country during the Korean Conflict. Bill worked in the pipefitting/welding trades for over 45 years in Oklahoma, Texas, and Alaska. He moved to Tucson in 1979 where he eventually retired. Bill was proudly affiliated with the Masonic Lodge for more than 31 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Burton; his three daughters, Dana Woodworth (Tom) of Veguita, NM, Darla Faulk (Jim) of Pinetop, AZ, Sheila Blevins (Mike) of Tucson; and his son, David Burton (Cindy) also of Tucson. Bill had four grandchildren, Ryan and David Faulk, Melanie Burton and Gabrielle Blevins.

DIXON, Charles Harold, 71, died April 2, 2000. Born September 5, 1928 in Deep Creek, VA. Survived by wife of 48 years, Elsie; children, Bruce (Debbie), Kathi (John) Clor; grandchildren, Kristi Clor, Jenni Clor and Charles 'CD' Dixon; brother, Thomas; sisters, LaRue Howe and Sue Dixon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dixon retired from the USAF in 1968 and AMARC in 1992. He was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Red Cross and the Old Pueblo Square Dance Club #145.
Visitation will take place 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Road, where funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2000 with Reverend Greg Watson officiating. Burial to follow at East Lawn Palms cemetery.

ESPINOZA, Mary L., 78, of Tucson, passed away on April 01, 2000. She was born June 20, 1921 in El Paso, Texas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Thursday, April 06 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Monica Church. Interment to follow at South Lawn cemetery. She is survived by her son, Manuel H. Espinoza; four grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was retired from Saint Mary's Hospital where she worked as a cashier.
LORELEI EDITH EVANS, age 53, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away April 3, 2000. She is survived by her five children, Barbara Bench, Virgil Evans, Erica Mastin, Amber Sindon and Perry Evans. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; her father, Virgil Hooseir; and two sisters, Suzanne Olds and Nancy Nunez. Lorelei was a teacher at Tortilita Junior High for eight years. She was a doctoral student at the U. of A. The most important part of her life was her family and friends. She was a member of the LDS Sunrise Ward. She had a passion for learning and passing on her knowledge to her children and grandchildren. Viewing will be Thursday, April 6, 2000 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Relief Society Room of the Sunrise Ward, 3700 E. Ft.
