CALVIN MICKENS - Born April 17, 1932, New Jersey City, NJ; died March 18, 2000, Tucson. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Zita; children, Doreen (Ron) Robinson of Parsippany, NJ; Shirley Johnson of Phoenix; Calvin Jr. (Cathryn) of Tobyhanna, PA, Gezzele Martin of Austin, TX and Brian of Tucson; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, as well as nieces and nephews. He was employed by the University of Arizona for 15 years. Cal was an Elder in the Worldwide Church of God. Memorial services at the First Congregational Church, 2nd Avenue and University Boulevard at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2000.
PEASLEY, Rose V., 81, died at home on Tuesday, April 4, 2000. Rose is survived by her children, Sharon (Kenneth) Moody of Columbus, IN, Kenneth (Nancy) Peasley of Tucson, and Valma (Ron) Roy of La Mesa, CA; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Jason, Ken, Stephanie, Michael, Allison, Kevin and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brooklyn. Sharing in our loss are her loving nephews and nieces and their families, and the dearest of friends, Leon and Lois, as well as Vilor. Rose leaves a legacy of unconditional love and undying loyalty. She was an elegant and gracious lady who taught us all many lessons to live by. Rose will be returned to Tucson at her specific request to enter eternity in the arms of her loving husband, Kenneth, where she felt most safe. A simple graveside service will be held Friday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m. at East Lawn Palms cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson. Thank you for your loving thoughts and respect.

REEVES, Sally Betty, 94, formerly of Bellaire, TX, 20 year resident of Tucson, died April 5, 2000 in Sun City, AZ. ALLEN, Del R., age 79, died April 6, 2000 at Elko General Hospital. He was born May 2, 1920 in Wilcox, Arizona to George and Amy Cosper Allen. He was raised and schooled in the Tucson area. He had served with the US Army, during WWII in Australia. After the war, he married
Dorothy Roberts in Tucson in 1945. They lived in Tucson for several years. In 1958, they moved to Winnemucca, NV and had the Sodhouse Ranch. They moved to California in 1960, and worked at various ranches. He moved to Elko, Nevada in 1994 to be closer to family.
Del enjoyed team roping and horses.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Dorothy on July 4, 1999; one brother and five sisters.
He is survived by daughters, Karen and Lou Ash of Spring Creek, Nevada, Cathy and Phil Volmer of Grass Valley, California and five grandchildren.
No services are scheduled and cremation will be at Sunset Crematory in Elko. Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

BETTY J. REINHARD, 75, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2000, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee Reinhard; sister, Irene Butler; daughter, Bonnie Henry (Bob); sons, David Reinhard (Chere), Michael Reinhard (Betsy); grandchildren, Laura Jones (Jim), Robert Henry, Brook and Holly Reinhard; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew and Aaron Jones, Marleah Henry; niece, Diana Holmes; other relatives.
Family was everything to her.
A Tucsonan for most of her adult life, Betty was a long-time employee of the Tucson Unified School District.
A memorial service celebrating Betty's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 10, in the chapel of South Lawn Mortuary, 5401 S. Park Ave.

SCHACHT, Cecelia M., 85, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Faber and her son, Robert Schacht (Mary); six grandchildren, Debi Rowe (Dan), Mark Faber (Kim), Leslie Faber, Robert Schacht, Laurie Schacht and Michael Schacht; and by four great-grandchildren, Megan Rowe, Kali Rowe, Alec Faber and Tatum Faber.
Memorial Services will be held at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway Blvd., on Monday, April 10th at 11:30 a.m.
He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

EDYTHE L. 'SHEILAH' STUBLER, died March 31, 2000 after losing her battle with cancer. Born April 6, 1925, she was a lifelong resident of Tucson. She was preceded in death by her children, Barbara Elizabeth Stubler and Michael Joseph Stubler. She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Stubler and Devon Stubler, and her long time friends, Rudi Maria Dogoli-Beals and James Beals. Also surviving are her sister, Dorothy (Harold) Ijams and several nephews and nieces, including Donald (Kay) Ijams, Kirt (Nancy) Ijams and Sabra Jeeves, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Edythe had a long and successful career as a supervisor at U.S. West and AT&T in Tucson. She was a member of the Tucson Life Members Club of the Telephone Pioneers. She volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary and El Dorado Hospitals where she helped many and made numerous friends. For years, she volunteered for the Salvation Army to help feed and serve the homeless. Her family and many friends, including those at the Crop Shop and at Canyon Crest, will miss her greatly. TORRENCE, Phyllis Jean, 85, of Tucson, passed away on April 3, 2000, due to respiratory failure. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Torrence. She is survived by one son, Jerome Brown; three nieces, Terry Anne Neely, Linda Nelson, Susan Bass and their families, and many other loving friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Phyllis's name. WARBURTON, Eleanor Gene, 77, of Tucson, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000 in Tucson.
She was born October 3, 1922, in Downs, Kan.
Mrs. Warburton lived in Prescott from 1978 to 1999. She worked at Safeway for many years, and volunteered at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center gift shop and for the public schools.
She was a supporter of Prescott Public Library, Planned Parenthood, Salvation Army and the Humane Society. She enjoyed reading, playing violin in a community orchestra, traveling, sewing, attending thought-provoking seminars, visiting grandchildren and keeping public officials 'on their toes'.
Survivors include her daughters, Marcella Bass of Las Vegas, Nev., Judith Johnson of Oro Valley, Alice Kaminsky of Prescott and Diane Keven of Fremont, Calif.; sister, Carolyn Wildberger of San Diego, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her husband of 22 years, Bill Warburton, preceded her in death in 1994.
Private family services will be Saturday in Tucson.

WIDMAYER, Dick, entered into rest on April 2, 2000 at his home in Cookville, Tenn. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of over 40 years, Shirley; two brothers, Ron of Howard City, MI, Ray of Tucson; one sister, Vivian Bathgate of Cedar Springs, MI; two sons, Mike and Larry of Cookville, Tenn.; and one daughter, Shirley Degraw of Tucson. He will be missed dearly by all those who loved him.
