You must admit or even confess
I entered this world that was already a mess.
Longing for happiness but always ending up
with less,
without direction or any affection.
You gave me life,
You gave me hope.
You didn't give me warning so I could cope.
Looking at myself,
I'm suddenly grown
Discovering something that
I've always known,
I was a prisoner of this world
who was so alone.
Keeping my anger on the shelf, not thinking of myself but always someone else.
I know happiness has a price,
I'm willing to pay it twice.
To be where I belong with my grandfather,
who's already gone.
Singing a happy song.
Please don't be sad or shed any tears,
I've gone to a better place and
I have no more fears.

Robert Luna will be missed by all that knew him.
