Edward, 87, of Yuma, died February 24, 2001 at his residence in the Foothills.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence; Children, Shirley (Roger) Holland, Frederick Scanlin, David (Lupita) Scanlin; Nine Grandchildren, and Sixteen Great Grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at St. John Neumann Church, 11750 S. Mesa Dr. on Friday at 10AM, March 2, 2001. Inurement will follow at Sunset Vista Cemetery, 11357 E. 40th Street. Arrangements by Sunset Vista Funeral Home, Cemetery, and Crematory.

Marie C. Wolfe
Marie C. Wolfe, 83 of Washingtondied in Yuma on February 23, 2001 at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 53 yrs: Robert, Step daughter: Barbara W. Miener, Brothers: Warren Myles of Missoula, Montana and Joe Jewett of La Grande, Oregon. Mrs. Wolfe loved to Golf, loved animals and had many many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2001 at 1:00 pm. at Sunset Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 11357 E. 40th St.

ALBERT M. McGREW, SR.
Albert was born February 23, 1914 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on March 30, 2001 in Yuma, AZ. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and enjoyed rock hounding and pitching horse.
Albert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Clara of Yuma; 2 sons, Albert Jr. of Kingman, Az., and Kenneth of Yuma; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial services are pending. Kammann Mortuary is in charge of cremation. Interment will be in Naches, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Yuma will be appreciated.
Mildred (Nona) Lorraine Bertellotti
April 10, 1918 - March 30, 2001
Mildred was born in Earlington (Renton), Washington. She was a homemaker and was the heart and soul of our family. She loved to garden, sew, knit, bake, cook, she also enjoyed playing Bridge with her childhood friends and attending Bible study group at Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church. Nona and her husband, Peter, have been attending the church for almost 50 years. Through their 62 years of marriage they have lived in Seattle, Canada, Paris, Alaska, Portland and finally settled in Kent. For the past 26 years Nona and Papa spent winters in Yuma, Arizona and summers in Kent, Washington. She fought a very courageous but short battle against lung cancer. Nona will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever! She was a wonderful lady!
Mildred is survived by her husband of 62 years, Peter (Papa) Bertellotti; three sons, Donald, Gerry (Patti) and Richard (Leslie) Bertellotti; one sister, Ede (Len) Hogan; four grandchildren, Laura (Greg) Kilgore, Rett, Laurie and Luke Bertellotti; and three great grandchildren, Alexander and Madison Kilgore and Royce Bertellotti.
Remembrances can be made to Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church and/or Hospice of Seattle. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church, 9656 Waters Ave. in Seattle.
James William Blevins
James William Blevins passed away March 31, 2001 at Life Care Center in Yuma, AZ. He was born November 3, 1930 in Delta, Colorado to Earl and Sarah Blevins.
He grew up around Delta and Escalanti Canyon. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Navy and was stationed in San Diego, CA. He saw active duty during the Korean War.
Jim was an active sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a LIfe Member of the V.F.W. and the Elks organizations.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Sarah and son James Linc Blevins.
He is survived by wife Carolee Jane Blevins and son Mark Blevins; Step children Leeann and Bob Skoglund-Barnett, Dave and Patti Skoglund and four grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by all family and friends. In lieu of flowers and cards the family asks that donations be made to the Life Care Center of Yuma, 2450 19th Ave, Yuma, AZ, 85364 in Jim's name, or to a charity of your choice.
Tom Kennedy
Former Yuman, Tom Kennedy, passed away March 29, 2001 at his home in San Diego. Tom was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 25, 1933.
Tom was the former owner of Mayberry Sanitation and Desert Divers in Yuma. Tom was a marine surveyor and co-owner of Ad Here Creative Advertising in San Diego.
Tom was a member of the Masonic Lodge #48 in Phoenix and a life member of the San Diego Yacht Club in San Diego. He was a member of the Yuma Chamber of Commerce and Yuma Jaycees.
Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lena of San Diego, son Paul of Phoenix, daughter Carla and grandson Andrew of Davis, California and Sister Shirley Vegors of Phoenix.
In lieu of flower, memorials should be sent to San Diego County Hospice.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm. April 14, 2001, at the Southwest Yacht Club, 2702 Qualtrough St., San Diego.
LeeVera "Lee" Grabbe (Nunnaley)
Lee passed away April 1, 2001, in Yuma, AZ, at the age of 65. She was born July 10, 1935, in Yuma, AZ.
Lee worked as a Technician Assistant for 15 years at the Yuma Proving Grounds.
She is survived by her Sons, Harry Curtiss Thompson II, Grant James Thompson, and Bradley Duane Thompson; Daughters, Audrey Leona Rivera and Selina D. Thompson; Brothers, George Nunnaley and Elbert Nunnaley; Sisters, Bertha Hankey and Betty McClain; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by her Husbands, Ronald Boyd Thompson and Donald Dean Grabbe; Son, Ronald Boyd Thompson Jr.; and 8 Siblings.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Mortuary Thursday, April 5, 2001, from 5-8PM. Funeral services will be held at the Graveside at Desert Lawn Memorial Park April 6, 2001, at 11AM.
Ruth E. Winton
Ruth passed away March, 31, 2001, at Yuma Regional Medical Center at the age of 79. She was born October 12, 1921, in Yuma, AZ.
Ruth was self-employed as a housekeeper and affiliated with the Helping Hand Club.
She is survived by her Sons, Cedric Shepherd, Clifford Winton Jr., Willie M. Shepherd, Eugene H. Winton; Daughter, Delores Winton; Sister, Erma Porter; Brother, Eddie Andrews; 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Ruth was preceded in death by her Husband, Clifford Winton Sr.; Daughter, Susie Hughes; Brother, Junior Hartley.
Paul bearers are: Vernie Gilmore, Alex Dees, Elmo Dees, Anthony Brookins, Cedric Shepherd Jr., Clifton Summers, David Hughes, and Tommy Hughes. Honorary Bearers are: Ozzie Frazier, James Williams, Leroy Dees and Raymond Robinson.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Mortuary Thursday, April 5, 2001, from 5 to 9PM. Funeral services will also be held at Johnson's Mortuary on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 9AM. Reverend James P. Crittenden will be officiating.
Ruth will be laid to rest at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
