BELASCO, Arnold E. Sr., 84, passed away February 28, 1996. He was a man who lived his life with courage, grace, dignity, perseverance and love. He will live on through all the lives he touched with his gentleness and strength. He loved his family and friends and taught his children that if you love yourself it is easy to love others. Arnold is survived by loving wife of 53 years, Leonor; sister, Marie Warren of Douglas, AZ; daughters, Maria Norton, Gregoria (Bill) Hawkins, Yvonne (Rudy) Campas, Nora Belasco, and Nancy Belasco; sons, Arnold Jr. (Velma), Ben (Shirley), Bobby (Kathy), Roman (Uta), James (Jackie), Joaquin (rocky), and Roger; also leaves 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is predeceased by daughter, Carmelita. Born August 14, 1911 in Frontier near McNeal, AZ. Before moving to Tucson in 1991, Arnold lived most of his life in Douglas where he was active in St. Luke’s Church. Funeral service in Douglas on Friday, March 1 at St. Luke’s. ENGLEBRIGHT, Emma Marie, 91, of Tucson, died Tuesday, February 27, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. E. Englebright and her son, Frank Lindstrom. She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie M. Presson of Collinsville, IL, Dolores H. Harris, Beverly A. Fraim, both of Tucson; stepchildren, Norma Lee Deaton, Dorothy M. Dunn, both of Fairburn, GA, Ted E. Englebright, Jr. of Topock, AZ; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. MOORE, Angel Benshoof, 29, passed on January 28, 1996 in her home. She was returned to Perry, Iowa to rest beside her father, Dave Benshoof on February 5, 1996 with family and friends present. Angel worked in Tucson for five years as a temp worker, nurses aid, and for Subway. A part time Pima Community College Student, she wished to be a nurse one day. A member of A.A. for four years. She had an alcoholic slip that proved fatal. A kind and gentle person; she led life her way and will be missed. Survived by mother, Pam Hendrixson; beloved friend, Leslie Weskski; daughter, Jasmine Moore; and sister, Cristal Montoya. PREBOR, Carol F., died February 27, 1996. She was born in 1937 in Irvington, NJ, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Trautner. She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Tucson; and daughters, Betsy Parris of Sarasota, FL and Laura Brock of Bay City, WI; and nine grandchildren. Carol had lived in Tucson for 20 years and had been active in various local equestrian organizations. She was a founding board member of the Southern Arizona Training Association and operated Bel Air Stables for several years. She had also been a sales representative with Tanque Verde Greenhouses. Carol will be missed by her many friends in the horse world and her friends in the Tanque Verde Hi-Low Bowling League. No services are planned. MALM, Jeffery, 29, of San Leandro, CA, a federal law enforcement officer with Immigration and Naturalization Service, died February 19, 1996. NELSON, Martha Eleanor, passed away February 27, 1996. She was born in Sackets Harbor, NY in 1901 and came to Arizona as a small child. She attended the University of Arizona where she lettered in five sports and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. In the 1940's she was active in politics and was state vice-chairperson of the Republican Party. Later, she was active in the Tucson Watercolor Guild and the Humane Society. She is survived by longtime companion, Edward “Poncho’ Franz; grandchildren, Marty Cook Meeks, Ken Newman and wife Barbara and Linda Newman; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
