WILLIAMS, Marion C., 81, died March 1, 1996. Survived by husband, Ray Williams; daughter, Donna Rae Collins; three sisters, Francis Fischer, Vera Tibbles and Louisa Cochran; brothers, Homer and Roswell Segovis; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, March 4, 1996 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. where Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 5, 1996 at 3:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

BEHRENS, Kim S., 57, of Tucson, passed away March 2, 1996. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Amelia Behrens and sister, Barbara Harris. Survived by wife, Mary Lou Behrens; father-in-law, Andres Rosales; daughters, Kimberley Ann and Brittney Behrens; son, Andres Behrens; brothers, Jack, Rodger (Rita), Ronald (Audrey) Behrens of MI; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Loving husband and father who will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 1996 at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd., from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, March 7, 1996 at St. Ambrose Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses at El Rio and St. Mary’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations be made to El Rio Clinic, 839 W. Congress. Oldham Samuel “Sam’ Casey 60, of Tucson and Phoenix, AZ, passed away Thursday, February 29, 1996. Sam was born in Hagerman, NM, November 11, 1935. He resided in Arizona for more than 50 years. During that time, he married, worked for the Tucson Electric Power Company, moved to Phoenix and the North-Central Arizona area working for and retiring from 20 years dedicated service at the Arizona Public Service Company. Sam enjoyed the outdoors and had a great interest in archaeology and Southwest history. He was also an avid collector of World War II memorabilia, knives, swords, and books. Sam was an animal lover with a particular fondness for cats. He is survived principally by his mother, Mrs. Fern Livingston; his daughter, Mrs. Cindy Dongoske; his grandchildren, Alessandra Noelle and Jerod Austin Dongoske. Sam is in a better place now and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Funeral arrangements handled by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Tucson.

EYNON, Evelyn E. (nee Smith), 84, of Tucson, AZ formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away March 1, 1996. Preceded in death by husband, Homer K. Eynon. “Heine’ as her family knew her, was kind, loving, generous and devoted to the family. Survived by son, William K. (Carol) Eynon of Fostoria, OH; daughter, Judith F. Trebec of Tucson; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a dear friend, Bob Riggs. She will be sadly missed. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY. FREDERICK, Joyce, 77, of Tucson, died after a long battle with lung cancer on March 2, 1996. She is survived by her sisters, Janice (Kenneth) Johnson of Hot Springs Village, AR and Wilma (Norman) Hawley of Forest Lake, MN and Tucson; one nephew; two nieces; and a long time friend, Thelma Pionke of Fergus Falls, MN. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 1996 at Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church, 5360 E. Pima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

Gary William Freis 46 years old, born in New York and resided in Tucson. Gary was a good friend and a beautiful husband. Passed away March 1, 1996. Survived by loving wife, Brenda LaPonsie Freis; sons, Gary Jr. and Steve; daughter, Jean; mother, Helen Wereley; aunt, Blanche; sister, Lynn Briggs; niece, Deborah; and two grandchildren, Shawn and Darren Jr. Memorial Services will be held at Hudgel’s Swan Funeral Home, Swan and 22nd St. on Tuesday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m.

FUER, John Anthony, 61, of Green Valley, AZ, died March 3, 1996. Survived by wife, Jean Fuer; brother-in-law, Stephen Davis; sister-in-law, Andrea (Ken) Chraft, both of CA; sisters, Patricia (Arthur) Brandau, Virginia (Reid) Teschner, Elizabeth (Ray) Breslin, all of NJ; brother, William Fuer of MA. Mr. Fuer was a prominent lawyer in the Green Valley area. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 1996 at Green Valley Mortuary. Memorial Mass will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 1996 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Graveside Service 10:00 a.m. Friday at Green Valley Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Humane Society of Tucson, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85711. Funeral arrangements were handled by Green Valley Mortuary and Memorial Gardens.

Gilbert F. Krause 72, died March 2, 1996. Survived by his children, Deanna McDonald, Karin Johnson, Kristine Cormier, Scott and Keith Krause; grandchildren, Katherine, Thomas, Elizabeth, Kristin, Lauren, Nicholas, David, Joey, Zachary and Regan; sister, Marge Kerber. Gilbert was a member of P.A.G. with the Tucson Police Dept., member of B.P.O. Elks #385, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Veteran of U.S. Army during WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart, Silver Star and the Bronze Star. Memorial Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1996 at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities.

HAGY, Mary (Jane) Stenson, 70, passed away March 1, 1996 at her home in Tucson. She was born in Tazewell Co., VA on November 3, 1925. She was survived by her sons, Michael R. Hagy of Lower Lake, CA, James P. Hagy of Tucson, Leslie Rush of Tucson; daughter, Denise Hagy of Lower Lake, CA; two granddaughters, Jessica and Oreda; and numerous friends. She will preside in her death with husband James Perry Hagy, retired Master Sargent of the U.S. Air Force. Mrs. Hagy was a member of the L.D.S. Church of Tucson. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lincoln Park Ward, 1655 S. Melpomene Way. She will be laid to rest Wednesday, March 6, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at Safford Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Autisum Society of Tucson. Arrangements by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, 881-0338.

HART, Rachel M., 74 years old, died February 26, 1996, three days following her husband, Oscar. She was a life long resident of Arizona from 2 days of age. Survived by daughters, (Annie) Barbara (Frank) Wimberly, Jeanie (Larry) Kirkendall, Dolly (Fred) Dominguez; sister, Mary Filip; brothers, Art (Concha), Ernest (Ramona), Richard (Rosemary) Torres, all of Tucson; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. Interment scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1996 at South Lawn Cemetery.

LINKES, A. D. “Bud’, Jr., passed away March 3, 1996 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tucson, AZ. Preceded in death by parents, A. D. and Ruth and brother David. Survived by sisters, Billie (Lee) Loveday, Joan (Ernest) Heaton and Edith (L. C.) Shockley; brothers, Allen (Pat) Linkes, Paul (June) Linkes, Gale (Donna) Linkes and Lynn Linkes; several nieces and nephews; friend of Bill W. 29 years; special friend, Leonard Lowe. Mr. Linkes was a retired real estate and developer, International Square Dance Caller, member of Caller Lab and founder of the Fun Squares Club of Tucson. Bud donated his body to the University of Arizona for Scientific Research. Memorial Gifts may be sent to the Asthma Foundation of Southern Arizona.

RIVERA, Maria Eloisa Valles, 57, born in Tucson, AZ on November 23, 1938, died in Hesperia, CA on February 23, 1996. Predeceased by mother, Eleonor V. Gonzales, father, Jose Rivera, daughter, Deborah Landeros. Survived by children, Rene (Kathy), Patricia, Jose (Brenda), Steven (Susie) Landeros; 11 grandchildren; brother, Jose V. (Carmen) Rivera; sisters, Lupe G. Rios, Amelia (Russ) Kotalik; and ex-husband, Frank Landeros. Burial in Paramount, CA on March 1, 1996.

STEWART, Phillip (Stew) Donald, born December 12, 1920 in Dudley, MO. God called him home February 28, 1996, Dallas, TX. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1938, joined the U.S. Navy in 1939, retired as Chief Pharmacist Mate after more than 20 years service. He then settled in Tucson, AZ and retired as Program Manager from the State of Arizona Department of Economic Security. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; sons, Gregory and Jeffrey and his wife Jane; three granddaughters, Kathleen, Kendall, and Christian. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1996, Carpenter Chapel Presbyterian Hospital on Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas. Rev. Msgr. Leon Duesman, Celebrant. Entombment, Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Rowlett. Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

BERG, Susan Mary, 48, passed away Friday, March 1, 1996 in Tucson, AZ. Susan was a graduate of Stanbrook Hall in Duluth, MN, attended the University of Minnesota and was a photographer. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Berg of Phoenix, AZ. A Memorial Service is being planned for June in Duluth, MN. Arrangements by Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan.

DeSHAZER, Donald E., 60, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Tucson, AZ, died March 3, 1996 in Scottsdale. He was Senior Vice President of First American Savings and Loan in Tucson. Survived by wife, Eva L. of Scottsdale; son, Donald L. (Lynda) of Tucson; mother, Margeruite of Marysville, KS; brother, Gary L. (Sharon) of Hutchinson, KS; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Blue Rapids, KS with interment at Antioch Cemetery in Marshall County, KS. Family suggests contributions to Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E.
