Richard C. Krebs 83, of Tucson, AZ, died Sunday, March 3, 1996. Survivors include wife, Elizabeth of Tucson; and children, Ron Krebs, Tucson, Kay (Roger) Kronholm and Gary (Gaileen) Krebs of NE; stepchildren, John (Frances) Tate, Tucson, Craig (Sherry) Tate, CT, Truett (Dorthe) Tate, Germany, Mark (Lynnette) Tate and Peggy Tate of Tucson; brother, Erwin (Leona) Krebs, CO; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-granddaughters. Mr. Krebs was affiliated with public schools in Nebraska and Arizona and the U of A in Administrative capacity. He was chairman of the Dept. of Secondary Education, also chairman of North Central Accrediting Association. Memorial Services will be at Catalina United Methodist Church, 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 1996, with Rev. Ravin Gaston and Rev. Hal Cowart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catalina United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 2700 E. Speedway, Tucson, AZ 85716. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

LAWRENCE, Lisa Evelyn, 39, died March 2, 1996 after a 10-year battle with brain tumors. Survived by her parents, Bob and Maggie Lawrence; two sisters, Julie and Valerie Lawrence; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Lawrence. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4831 E. 22nd St., on Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Lisa had asked that donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Assoc., 785 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94013.

LEE, Arnold L., 68, went to be with his beloved Lord March 3, 1996. He was born in Maine, spent most of his life in New York State, and moved to Tucson in 1989. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley; four sons; seven grandsons; one sister; and two brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at Del Norte Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7. MACLAREN, Robert M. (Ret. Master Sgt. U.S.A.F.), 71, of Tucson, passed away March 4, 1996 at the Veterans Hospital. He is survived by wife, Neva Green MacLaren of Tucson; daughter, Linda and her husband Noel Hatfield; grandson, Deyton; brother, Albert and his wife Juanita MacLaren of Olmsted Township, OH; sister, Margret and her husband Clark Cornell; and sisters and brothers-in-law of OK; nieces and nephews. He was a member of National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 704, D.A.V. #42, American Legion #36, V.F.W. #549 and N.C.O. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday with the Funeral Service with full military honors at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 1996 at Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan. Interment South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to the V.A. Hospital.

OHMANN, Ethel L., 85, died March 3, 1996 in Tucson. She is survived by one daughter, Judith Baillargeon of Tucson; one brother; and three grandchildren, Daniel, Andrea and Kenneth. She was preceded in death by husband, Marcus Ohmann. Mrs. Ohmann was from Niagara Falls, NY. OLCH, Josephine Elizabeth, 81, of Tucson, passed away March 1, 1996. Preceded in death by husbands, Hamilton Luke and David Olch, daughter, Johanna Russo. Survived by daughters, Laura (Michael) Pacuilla and Jennifer Costa; son, Joseph Merlo; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. RODRIGUEZ, Leonel G., 40, of Las Vegas, NV, raised in Naco, Sonora, passed away March 3, 1996. Preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Rodriguez. He is survived by his father, Geronimo Rodriguez; sisters, Leticia (Luis) Martinez of Casa Grande, Lourdes Rodriguez of Tucson; brother, Normando Tony (Cecilia) Rodriguez of Tucson; two nieces and three nephews. He was a fashion designer who worked in Paris, France to design for Christian Dior and Las Vegas, NV. Friends may call March 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. SALOMON, Lydia E., 72, died March 5, 1996 in Tucson. She is survived by six sons, Tony Dorame of Tucson, Ramon Dorame of Winslow, AZ, Alex Salomon of Douglas, AZ Joe Salomon of Tucson, Jesus Salomon of Douglas, AZ and Gilbert Salomon of Tucson; and one daughter, Ernestina Gonalez of Tucson, AZ; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mass for Mrs. Salomon will be said 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7 at Our Lady Queen of all Saints, 2915 E. 36th St. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, where Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Holy Hope Cemetery. WILHELMI, Dion J., of Tucson, passed March 1, 1996 in Tucson. Survived by sister, Claire C. Wilhelmi of Tucson. Preceded in death by father and mother S. F. and Helen Wilhelmi; brother, Harley Wilhelmi, sisters, Catherine Regan and Helen Wilhelmi. Dion retired in 1975 as an Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University after 30 years of teaching. Memorial Mass was held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Committal Services were held Wednesday 10:00 a.m. Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY.

ADKISSON, Robert B. Lt. Col., USAF Ret., 61, of Tucson died Monday March 4, 1996. Survived by wife, Gaye C., sons, Robert M. (Melissa) of Memphis, TN and John A. (Mary) of Tucson and daughter Wendy L. of Tucson. Grandchildren, Garrett, Joshua, Lauren, Mariah, Collin and Kelsey. Bob leaves us with many happy memories and a history of great accomplishments. A front line Century Series fighter pilot, Bob led the way in swept wing aviation. A three-time tour Vietnam vet, Bob earned the DFC, MSM, AM (13 OLC), AFCM (2 OLC) and Chinese Pilots Wings. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in memory of Robert Adkisson, Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Assoc., 6237 S. Greenwich Rd., Derby, Kansas 67037-9206. ALLAN, Wilfred Carl, 90, of Tucson, died March 4, 1996. Survived by wife, Dorothy E. Allan; sons, Donald B. Allan and Richard C. EMRICH, Cherlene Sue “Rhoda’ of Fort Wayne, IN, died March 5, 1996. Survived by sister, Carla Emrich of Tucson, AZ. HARLEY, John Wilson, 85, of Tucson, AZ, died March 3, 1996. Survived by loving wife, Charlotte; one brother, Richard of MI; devoted daughter, Calla Hudos (Philip); and four grandchildren of Plant City, FL. Mr. Harley was a lifetime member of the Masonic Temple, Scottish Rites, Royal Order of the Jesters and 28 year member of the Oriental Band. Love and remembrance services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9th with a gathering of friends following. Rev. Richard F. Rowley (Ret) will officiate. HARVILL, George Garner, 88, of Tucson, died Friday, March 1, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Harvill, former President of the University of Arizona, and her sister, Sarah Martha Garner. She is survived by her brother, Lloyd Garner of Hightstown, NJ. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 1996 at Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. IRBY, Kenneth R., 39, of Tucson, died Sunday, March 3, 1996. Survivors include loving sons, Jonathon R. and Ryan Irby; mother, Estelle Irby; sisters, Barbara (Ignacio) Nunez, and Neva Woods; brothers, Ernie and Randy Irby. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Vernon Irby. Also survived by nephews and a niece. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Leon C. L’Heureux 89, passed away peacefully at his home March 6, 1996, with his family at his side. He was born on the family homestead in Phoenix, AZ Territory, in 1906. Orphaned at an early age, he was raised by the Sisters of the Precious Blood. He took employment with Mountain Bell in 1927, and subsequently moved to Gallup, NM where he met his beloved Lois. They were wed in 1933 and settled in Santa Fe to raise their family. After his retirement from the phone company, they moved to Tucson in 1971. After 49 years of marriage, Lois died. Leon was a competitive racewalker and tireless volunteer, repairing talking books as a Telephone Pioneer and ministering to the sick and elderly in hospital and nursing homes for over 20 years until just a month before he died. He will be missed by his sister, Beatrice Spencer of Phoenix; his six children, Lee (Mary), Richard (Betty), Camilla Landwehr, Kathleen, Karen (Charles) Cooper; and Judith (David) Walker; his 24 grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great grandchildren and many other dear relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, March 8 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Funeral Mass will be held 8:00 a.m., Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Burial will follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery. LAINE, Deborah Hinton, 44, died in her sleep March 3, 1996. Survivors are husband, Roger; daughter, Kimberly; son, Aaron; granddaughter, Monique; sisters, Dee Ann Woods and Carol Hinton; brothers, Richard and Michael Bradford, Shawn Vivian, Barry and Gregory Hinton; parents, Rhea and Margie Hinton. Funeral Services will be at Best Funeral Home, 9380 W. Peoria Ave, in Peoria at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Rev. Mark Harmon will conduct a Memorial Service at Central Church of the Nazarene, 404 S. PEARSON, Lillian, 94, of Tucson, died March 3, 1996. She is survived by her niece, Sara Pearson Shield and two grandnephews. Ms. Pearson was preceded in death by brothers, Henry T. Pearson of Tucson and Nelson C. Pearson of Danville, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 1996 at HEATHER MORTUARY, 1040 N. Columbus. DANIELS, Mario L., 17, of Tucson, passed away March 4, 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Daniels. Survived by mother, Marcella G. Coronado; also surviving are five sisters and three brothers; a paternal grandmother, Maria Luz Daniels of San Deigo, CA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A loving son, brother and nephew, he will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. at San Martin de Porres Church, 418 W. 39th Street, on Friday, March 8, 1996. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday, March 9, 1996 at San Martin de Porres Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park.
