YBARRA, Joe D., 66, of Tucson, passed away March 14, 1996. Beloved husband of Amelia, father of Edward, Joey, Jr., and Yvette, also survived by brothers and sister; John Lupe Munoz, Jesse and Henry Ybarra. He will be missed by all the family. He served in the Army Air Force, a charter member of American Legion Sahuaro Post #68, member of the Latin American Club, State Legislature for four years and retired from Pima County as elections technician. ARNETT, Vayne, 81, died March 18, 1996. BRADBURY, James W., 68, of Marana, died March 16, 1996. Survived by wife, Barbara; children, James W. Bradbury II of KY, Howard E. Bradbury of FL, Ruth Ann Rawlings of IN, Carl O. FOLKERS, Lawrence Jay, age 42, of Tucson, formerly of Sterling, IL, died Saturday, March 16, 1996 after suffering a brain hemorrhage resulting from a previously undiagnosed cerebral aneurysm. He collapsed early Thursday morning while at work as a psychiatric social worker at Kino Hospital and never regained consciousness. During the last hours of his life he was surrounded by his family, his wife, Debbie, her sisters, Kelly Valdivia, and Kim Steeby, and other family and friends at Tucson Medical Center before his body was committed to the Donor Network of Arizona. The much loved youngest son of Elmer and Orpha Folkers is survived by his wife, Debbie; his parents; and his brothers, Thomas, Bruce, and Douglas Folkers; three nieces and five nephews. Larry worked for 18 years with a variety of agencies in Tucson’s medical community and was working toward a master’s degree in educational leadership. Beyond family and work, his concerns included supporting the interests of the homeless and supporting environmental conservation. Larry was an avid hiker and gardener. When not otherwise involved, he could usually be found at his computer traveling the Internet while listening to his eclectic collection of music. Friends of Larry and Debbie’s may wish to visit an open house at their home Thursday, March 21 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Friends of the family may also attend a memorial service for Larry at the Catalina Baptist Church, 1900 N. Country Club Road, Friday, March 22 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests any memorials may be sent to the Community Food Bank in Mr. Folker’s memory.

KENT, Douglas, 43, of Tucson, died March 19, 1996. Survived by wife, Suzanne Kingsley Kent; daughter, Amy Kent; sons, Larry Jones and Kyle Jones; father, Frank Kent; brother, Franklyn Kent. Preceded in death by his mother, Anne Kent. Mr. Kent served in the United States Air Force for 10 years from 1971-1981. He was a decorated Air Force Veteran, who served in Korea and Vietnam, and received two Air Force commendation medals. Mr. Kent was also a technical advisor with IBM for 10 years. KEYES, James Turney, 84, of Tucson, AZ died March 18, 1996. He was born in 1911 in Williamsport, OH and grew up in Circleville and Columbus. He was an Alumnus of Ohio State University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. For most of his life he was involved in the textile industry, retiring in Scottsdale, AZ in 1966 where he was on the fundraising board of Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. In 1990 he moved to Fort Myers, FL where he served as a charter member of the Kelly Greens Homeowners Association. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Peppard Keyes of Tucson; sister, Mary Elizabeth Keyes of Fort Myers, FL; son, David Turney Keyes of Gig Harbor, WA; daughter, Denny Keyes Alspach of Tucson; and grandchildren, Lindsay Alspach of San Francisco, Megan Alspach of Phoenix, AZ, Whitney Whiten of Kent, WA and Joshua Turney Keyes of Tacoma, WA.
