MUNGUIA, Maria Louisa (Licha) Zazueta, 79, of Tucson, born September 21, 1916, went to her eternal home June 5, 1996. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry Yescas Munguia; brothers, Tomas and Miguel Zazueta of Tucson; her sons, Manuel (Cecilia), Henry Z. (Elvira) of San Diego, CA, Ruben (Connie) and Ramon C. Munguia; daughters, Gloria (Martin) Martinez, Maria Olga Garza, Rosemary Munguia and Frances G. Masengill, all of Tucson. Also survived by 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. She enjoyed life to the fullest, especially her plants, her home, her family and most especially her grandchildren who were he source of life and joy. She was loved by many and will be missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 1996 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be offered on Monday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Church, 602 W. Ajo Way, officiated by her grandson, the Rev. Martin S. Martinez. PUTZ, Dorothy Marie, 81, died May 25, 1996. Born May 21, 1915 in Chicago, IL. Dorothy moved to Tucson with her family in 1953. She taught Spanish, French and English at Tucson, Pueblo and Palo Verde High Schools, and retired in 1980. She then enjoyed working at the Arizona Historical Society Mercantile. Throughout her life, Dorothy enjoyed traveling and exploring locally, nationally and world-wide. She is survived by a large family, those related by blood and those related by enduring friendship. CALHOUN, Lillian K., 75, a Tucson resident from 1948 until 1955 when she moved to Chandler, died Saturday, June 1, 1996 in Mesa. Mrs. Calhoun was born in Winnipeg, Canada. While in Tucson, she owned and operated Lily Kay’s Sportswear. An active volunteer in Tucson, she was most active as phone call coordinator for Heartline, a compassionate service organization, and with the Tucson Estates Garden Club. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Free of Chandler and Gayle Pollard of Phoenix; four grandchildren, Traci Tippett, Kevin Free, Lisa Page, and Terri Foote; two great grandchildren, Matt and Michael Tippett; and two brothers, James and Harold Butler.
