KEATING, Dorothy Nelson, passed away May 13, 1996 in Tucson, AZ. Born in Vermont, June 10, 1933 she was a longtime resident of Northampton, MA. She graduated from Commercial College and worked as a legal secretary. She moved to Tucson in 1983. She retired from the Pima County Public Defenders Office. She leaves her husband, Robert W. Keating; a daughter, Sharon Loranger of Westfield, MA; and a son, John. There will be no calling hours.

HAWLEY, Margaret Miller, 92, author and poetess, a long time resident of Tucson, and active in Catholic Church affairs, including teaching young people in the Church’s CCD classes, died at Tucson Medical Center on Sunday, May 12, 1996 after a long illness. She is survived by a cousin, Mr. Donald Miller of Bethesda, MD and a cousin by marriage, Mrs. Andrea Lorig of Seattle, WA. Margaret came to Tucson in 1942 with her husband, Archibald D. Hawley, Sr., and their son, Archibald, Jr. She had been a resident of the Bel Air Ranch Estates community since 1964. Mr. Hawley died in 1977; her son passed away in 1988. KABLER, Ilene J. nee Rosenbrock, of Tucson, died Monday, May 13, 1996. Survivors include beloved husband of 53 years, E.A. Kabler; son, Christon D. Kabler; daughters, Cherine (Jerry) Hathaway, Colette (Dennis) Ryan; granddaughters, Loretta Underwood and Veronica Foster; numerous nieces, nephew and other relatives also survive. Mrs. Kabler was preceded in death by her parents, August and Ethel, a sister, Ione, brother, Richard and a grandson, Eric who was two. Mrs. Kabler retired from T.U.S.D. where she worked for 35 years. For all those who knew her she was a source of warmth and kindness. A true angel on earth. A Tucson resident since 1975, she helped found TelaCare and taught numerous handiwork classes. STARBUCK, Perry L., son of Clarence R. and Hattie C. Starbuck, was born at Smith Center, KS, on January 11, 1904, and died at Tucson, AZ on May 13, 1996 at the age of 92. He graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS in 1927 and married Emma R. Timbers of Salina on June 16, 1928. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He retired from the IBM Corporation in 1969 after 25 years of service in various executive positions in Education, Personnel, Accounting, and Administration. He has been a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tucson since 1973 and has been a member of the Board of Trustees, and Elder and Treasurer for the church. A 61 year member of Kiwanis International, he has served as Club President, Lieutenant Governor and Governor of the New York District. He was a Senior Member of the Sunshine Kiwanis Club of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Emma in 1994; and is survived by his daughter, Dawn Simpson of Aynor, SC; son, Gary L. Starbuck of Endicott, NY; a granddaughter; and three great grandsons. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 1996 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 400 E.
