WILSON, Jack Dewayne, 57 years old, passed on into another life Friday morning, April 20, 1996. Born in Central Ohio, Jack lived most of his life in Tucson. After 10 years of dedicating himself in the US Marines Jack worked with the families swimming pool construction business, Wilson Pool and Patio, Inc. Survivors: sister, Suzie D. Taylor; and two brothers, Robert and Jay Wilson. Graveside Service 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at South Lawn Cemetery.

BRYAN, Beverly Ann, 58, of North Branch, MI and a winter visitor of Tucson, died April 20, 1996. Survived by husband, James Bryan of Imlay City, MI; sons, James E. Bryan of Portland, OR, Thomas M. Bryan of Chandler, AZ, Robert W. Bryan of North Branch, MI, John A. Bryan of Tucson; daughter, Pamela S. Bryan of Tucson; mother, Beatrice A. GORHAM, John William, 28, life-long resident of San Manuel, AZ, died Wednesday, April 17, 1996 while visiting Mexico. He is survived by his parents, John J. and Evelyn M. Gorham of San Manuel; his sister, Stephanie Gorham; a nephew, Miguel Jovenal, all of San Manuel; many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 1996 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth, AZ from 5:00 p.m. until the church closes. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 23, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with burial following in Mammoth Cemetery. MILNE, Beatrice Marie, age 66, of Tucson, died April 17, 1996. She was born in Walnut, NE on November 11, 1929. Survivors include her daughter, Wilda (Robert) Loeser of CA; son, Ralph of Tucson; sister, Arlene Liska and brothers Ralph and Marvin Block, all of NE; and two grandchildren. She worked as a dispatcher for Tucson Electric Power Company for 40 years before retiring this year. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 1996. A Memorial Service conducted by Rev. BARISON, Vincent James, Jr., combat disabled, Lt. USAF Ret., 72, died April 16, 1996. Husband of Sarah Barison; father of James (Judith) Barison of Tucson; brother of Beatrice Barison of IL; brother-in-law of Margaretta Bonneau of NE; grandfather of Jeffrey Woodruff, Douglas (Robin) Woodruff and Jacquelyn (Bernard J.) Weber; great granddaughter, Felicia Weber also survives. He was a member of Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Officer's Club at DMAFB. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 1996 at DMAFB Chapel 2 with Chaplain Ronald Underwood and the DMAFB Honor Guard officiating. BARNETT, Tommy Wayne, Chief of Drexel Heights Fire Dept., died Wednesday, April 17, 1996. Born June 29, 1938 to Jewell and Wallace Barnett in Lawndale, CA. He is predeceased by his brother, Don Lee; daughter, Vicky Lynn; and mother and father. He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; his children, Don, Bob, Kathy and Cynthia; niece, Betty Jean; and his grandchildren, Matt and Laura, and all those who loved him. Tom was a career firefighter. Communities served includes Downey and Huntington Beach, CA, Bethany, OK, and Drexel Heights, AZ. He was active in many community service organizations including International Fire Chiefs Assoc., Bethany Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce. He was past president of the Oklahoma City Fire Chiefs Assoc., and was currently serving as President of the Pima County Fire Chiefs Assoc. He was on the Advisory Board of the Lawrence Wellness Center, and was instrumental in establishing the Food and Clothing Bank there. We will all miss his daily love and support. DEAN, Jerry C., 71, of Tucson, died April 19, 1996. Born February 11, 1925 in Paris, AR. He was owner and operator of Jerry's Auto Glass since 1970. Survived by wife, Beatrice Dean of Tucson; sons, Thomas G. (Dorothy) Dean and Paul B. (Mary) Dean, both of Tucson; brother, William M. Dean of Ft. Lyons, CO; grandchildren, Jeffrey T. Dean, Lisa M. Dean, Ryan P. Dean, all of Tucson. Memorial Services Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY with Dr. Mark L. Koehler of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church officiating. DIETZ, Donald Fredrick, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 1996, at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. Mr. Dietz was born in Kenosha, WI, where he received his education and then went on to attend Fisher Body School in Waukeegan, IL, to learn to do auto body repair. Upon graduation he moved to Arizona in 1947 where he and his father opened Dietz Body Shop in Tucson which he co-owned and operated until 1992. In 1994 he and his wife moved to Show Low to enjoy his retirement together. Mr. Dietz is survived by his wife, Earlene Dietz of Show Low, AZ; one son, Bill Dietz of Aspen, CO; one brother, Richard Dietz of Odessa, TX; and one sister, Dorothy Olsen of Pleasant Praire, WI. No services are planed. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Owens Mortuary of Show handled arrangements.

EGGERT, Marie Elizabeth, 86, of Tucson, died April 17, 1996. Survived by husband of 61 years, Raymond Eggert; daughters, Ellen (Dr. Andrew) King of Baton Rouge, LA, Sally Eggert and Virginia Eggert of Tucson; grandchildren, Julie (Eric) Robideau, Colleen Magnuson, Ashley (Dr. Steven) Brewer, Michael Magnuson and Thomas King; great-grandchildren, Christopher Magnuson, Charlotte Brewer and Eric Robideau, Jr. and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Mrs. Eggert was a Past Worthy Matron of International Order of Eastern Star and 69 year member of organization. Memorial Services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. ELLIOTT, Marie V. (Donovan), 73, passed away April 18, 1996. She was born in Marlboro, MA on May 21, 1922 and is survived by her husband of 46 years, Russell Elliott of Tucson, AZ; also son, George Elliott (Audrey); daughters, Joan Catt (Lonny), Lynn Palazzolo (Joe) of Warren, MI; grandchildren, Clint, Russell and Julee Elliott, Mark, Tiffany and Koury Catt and Lindsey Palazzolo; and one great grandchild, Dallas Catt. Also survived by her sisters, Helen Brennan of Marlboro, MA, Elizabeth Phaneuf of Cape Cod, MA, Aline Mott of York, ME; brother, Joseph Donovan of Tucson and James Donovan of Marlboro, MA. Services will be held in Marlboro, MA, however there will be a Memorial open house at 4765 E. 18th St. in Tucson (748-7119) for close friends and family on Sunday, April 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

FERGUSON, G. 'Fergie', 77, of Pinetop and Tucson, passed away April 19, 1996. Survived by wife, Evelyn; brother, Bill; the Hardy family, the Charles family and his many friends. He served in the military in WWII. In recent years he enjoyed golf and other sports. Private family services will be held. KAUFMAN, Frances, 75, of Tucson, died April 18, 1996. Born September 7, 1920 in New York City. Survived by husband, Louis Kaufman of Tucson; son, Fred J. Kaufman of Seattle, WA; daughter, Madelyne Patick-Green of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Fay Post of FL, Pearl Santucci of NY; grandson, Jordan Patick of Los Angeles, CA. KLAUS, Alice E., of Tucson, died April 19, 1996. Survived by husband, William C. Klaus; step-son, Arthur Hacket of Manassas, VA; nephew, Herbert (Marion) Waesch and; niece, Cheryl Waesch of Tucson. LARRA, Joe G., 79, of Tucson, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 1996. He is survived by daughters, Jo Ann (Art) Trujillo, Margaret Robles; granddaughters, Adrienne and Michelle Trujillo, Felicia (Roy) Lowe; sister, Reina Ortiz. Also survived by his friend Bea Marquez and her loving family. Joe also had many beloved nieces, nephews and God-children. Retired in 1978 as equipment manager from Tucson High School. U.S. Navy, VFW 549, K-C 1200, 3rd Degree Knight, R.A.T.S., Right Always Triumps manager of Marana Air Cadets, Baseball Team and Los Aguilas. Visitation will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Sunday, April 21, 1996 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, 1996 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. Rosary and Mass will be celebrated by Francisco R. Maldonado. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC. Now Joe is in Heaven coaching the heavenly baseball team.

MERCHANT, Howard F. Jr., 40, of Tucson, died April 17, 1996. Ex-husband of Carol A. of Marana; father of Beth Ann Howard of Abilene, TX, April D. and Clinton H. of Marana; son of Howard F. Merchant Sr. of Tucson; brother of Larry M. and Erie J. Merchant, both of Tucson, Patricia R. Waters of Lake Orion, MI; three grandchildren. Betty H. Paulin Died April 16, 1996, age 84. Born in Pontiac, MI, March 28, 1912. She is survived by three sisters, Marion Brown, Mary Ellen Galbraith and Jane Glatte, all of CA; two sons, David H. (Joyce) Paulin, and Kenneth H. (Gail) Paulin; three grandsons, Christopher, Steven and Andrew; one great granddaughter, Jessica and her much loved dog, Schmitty. She now is reunited with her husband, James H. Paulin, to whom she was married for 53 years, and son, Philip. Betty graduated from Michigan State in the 30's to become a fine elementary teacher at Webster School in Pontiac. The family relocated to Tucson in 1960, where Betty taught at Myers Elementary school until her retirement in 1968. She took great joy in helping others learn. She was a beautiful, caring person, loving mother and grandmother and model citizen who's kindness, generosity, and empathy for others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. No services are planned at this time. Donations in her memory may be made to Planned Parenthood or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

PERRY, Michael George, of Playas, NM, recently of Tucson, died suddenly April 11, 1996. He was a Senior Accountant with Phelps Dodge and a graduate of the University of Arizona. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Perry of Tucson; and his brothers, Douglas Perry of WA and Glenn Perry of IL.
