LARRABEE, Raymond Bradley, 36, died June 9, 1996, in an accident near Salem, OR.
At the time he was doing what he loved best, riding his motorcycle.
He was serving his 16th year in the US Navy.
Ray is survived by Barbara Larrabee (mother), Sahuarita, AZ; Jim and Ann Larrabee (father/stepmother) and Phil, Mick and Lisa Larrabee, Tucson, AZ; and numerous relatives.
He will be especially missed among friends from the U.S. Navy and the BMW Motorcycle Club of America.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 15, by Rev. John Ierly at Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway.

MAYBERRY, Harry L., 90, of Tucson, passed away June 10, 1996.
Survivors include beloved wife of 69 years, Vernita; daughter, Shirley; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Leroy and Kenneth.
He retired from his plumbing profession in 1988.
Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd (at Speedway) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 14th.
Funeral Services will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15th.
Burial will follow at South Lawn.

McCLANAHAN, James P., of Tucson, died June 9, 1996.
He was born March 24, 1925 in Wade, OK.
Jim met his wife of 52 years when his family moved their trailer onto the back pasture of her family’s farm in Mt. Carmel, IL when they were teenagers.
He loved the Arizona desert, and explored it on dirt-bike motorcycles for several years.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII, and continued to contribute to our nation’s defense as a MARS member, and Project Engineer at Hughes Aircraft.
He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the American Rocket Society, the Tucson Repeater Association, and the American Radio Relay League. He was an avid Ham Radio operator, and was awarded the American Radio Relay League Public Service Award and the Tucson-Pima County Department of Emergency Services Award for his indispensable help during a communications emergency in 1975.
Jim spent more than a decade as a dedicated volunteer of the Pima County Search and Rescue Organization.
He is survived by his mother, Kate Lee of Tucson; his wife, Flora Agnes; his daughters, Catlin (Connie Sue) O`Rourke of CA, Carol Lee Mikelsen of WA and Cathy Jo Jones of Tucson; his grandchildren, Madeline, Robin, Daniel J. and Jonna V. Hauck, Severin J., Oscar J. and Phoebe K. Mikelsen, Clifford E., Elisabeth A. and Sarah M. Blanton; his great-grandchildren, Erin Mikelsen and Jonnathan R. D. Hauck; and his step-grandchildren, Richard, Andrew, Ian and Ashlee Jones.
He was preceded in death by his father Joy, his brother Poe and his grandchildren, Michelle Blanton and Winter and Judah Mikelsen.
He was a truly honorable man, deeply loved and highly respected by his family and many others whom he considered family.
He gave stability and guidance to many of us through his honesty, integrity to principle, generosity, love and caring throughout the years. He will be remembered and loved.
We will always miss him.
A Memorial will be held at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., Friday, June 14, 1996 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a reception for the family and close friends at 5:00 p.m.

MONTEROSSO, Antoinette T., 77, died Monday, June 10, 1996 in Tucson.
Survived by daughter, Julie (Leo) Mills; son, Jim (Lois) Monterosso; five grandchildren, Jerry Mills, Mike (Sandy) Mills, Wendy (Greg) Davis, Philip Monterosso and Melissa Monterosso.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Gravesite Service will be Friday at South Lawn Cemetery 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tucson Easter Seals (Stroke Club) or Carondelet Hospice Services.

SALDIVAR, Rodolfo Oviedo, age 68, of Tucson, died Wednesday, June 12, 1996.
Survived by his wife, Natalia; daughters, Anna, Sylvia Flores, Yolanda, Linda Ackermann and Alma Karcheski; six brothers; two sisters and four grandchildren.
Services Friday 2:00 p.m. June 14, 1996 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Interment South Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 1996 at the SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave.

WHITNEY, Joe A., 36, died June 12, 1996 in Coolidge, AZ. Born in Douglas, AZ.
Father of Angela Jo, Alicia Marie, Athena Renee and Anthony Joseph, all of Norwalk, OH; grandfather of William Wilson; son of Sylvia M. Whitney of Coolidge; brother of Hector Whitney of TN, Melinda Zucker of Tucson, Tabby Allgood of Casa Grande, Ron Miranda of Mesa and Terry Whitney of Apache Junction; grandson of Guadalupe Miranda of Coolidge.
Joe was a member of Arizona Escrow Association.
Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 14 at BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
Mass will be offered 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 602 W. Ajo. Burial in Holy Hope Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by Fort Huachuca Post Honor Guard, friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 15 at BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

LEVINE, Mildred E., 75 years, beloved wife, passed away Thursday, June 13, 1996. She was an area resident for 18 years.
Survivors include: husband, Bernard; daughter, Judy (Jonathan) Zimbert of CA; brother, Stanley Abrams of OH; and one grandchild, Max.
She was an adoring mother/grandmother.
Friends may call at the home on Saturday, June 15, 1996 in the afternoon. Arranged by HEATHER MORTUARY.

MCMANN, Marie Helen, 73, died June 14, 1996.
She was born February 19, 1923 in Mishawaka, IN.
As Marie Curran, she married Jay W. McMann December 26, 1942 in South Bend, IN.
Survived by husband, Jay McMann of Tucson; son, James McMann of Columbus, OH; grandsons, David and Kevin McMann of Columbus, OH; brothers, Robert Curran of South Bend, IN, and Richard Curran of Kokomo, IN; also a sister, Virginia Lochmandy of South Bend, IN.
Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 1996 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5150 N. Valley View Rd., with Father Todd O’Leary officiating. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

ANGELL, Florence, 92, of Tucson, passed away June 12, 1996. She is survived by her son, Norman (Patricia) of Tucson; daughters, Beverly (Gerald) Harper of IL, Bobbie (Ron) Larsen of Tucson; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Lula Cavinder of IN.
She gave more love than she ever took and now she receives her reward.
Mom went to be with her Lord and Savior and now she is whole again.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 15th at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 750 W. Chapala Dr. from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 10:30 with Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A.D. Alzheimer’s Disease, Tucson AZ Chapter.

ARCE, Rita Bedoya, died June 12, 1996, born July 16, 1903 in Ray Territory of Arizona to Joaquin and Librada (Alcantar Zamora) Bedoya, one of seven sisters and four brothers.
Her grandparents Elijio and Joaquina Bedoya farmed an area near the San Xavier Mission in the mid 1800's.
Rita is predeceased by her husband, Bert T. Arce, also an Arizona native born in Arivaca in 1900; son, Hector; grandchildren, Diana (Lopez) Snyder and Douglas Edmund Arce.
Survivors include daughter, Lily (Alfred) Lopez of Tucson; sons, Ray (Olga) of Oakland, CA, Gilbert, George (Roberta), Humbert (Louise) and Edmund of Alameda, CA and sister, Alice Solis of Fresno, CA; also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces, and for devoted care giver, Nancy Hilburn Muchisimas Gracias. St. Ambrose Church at 300 S. Tucson Blvd. will be the site of Visitation to be held June 16, 1996 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered June 17, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. Burial Services will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Alfred Lopez, Eric Lopez, John Arce, George Arce, Sean Arce, and Rudy Navarette.
Honorary Pallbearers are George Robles and Joe Valenzuela.

BOSSEMEYER, Dr. Frederick H., Jr., 81, died June 13, 1996. Beloved husband of the late Mary Hale Bossemeyer; devoted father of Frederick W. (MaryJane) Bossemeyer, Richard A. (Marianne) Bossemeyer of Indio, CA, Patricia Bossemeyer of Tucson; four grandchildren also survive.
From 1938 to 1979 he had a general practice in Dayton, OH and was founding doctor of Grandview Hospital in Dayton.
From 1979 to present he practiced at La Frontera Clinic in Tucson where he was devoted to the care of the many clients in need of service. Memorial Service 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 1996 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2450 E. Ft. Lowell with Rev. Ken Skodiak and Dr. Richard Rowley officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

BRANDON, William L., 74, died June 12, 1996. Survived by his wife, Ruth E. Brandon; sons, Thomas (Diane), William (Karen), Ernie (Lavon) and Eddie (Vanessa) Brandon; daughters, April (Richard) Robertson, Nancy (John) Preble, Martha (Bob) Greenlee and Jeannette (John) Kiss; 27 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by son, Lawrence. Formerly of Martins Ferry, OH moving to Tucson five years ago.
Friends may call Saturday, June 15, 1996 at the EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. David Trisler of the RLDS Church officiating.
Burial to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
