PRYOR, Jean Elaine, 73, a Tucson resident for 34 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 25, 1996. Born August 4, 1923 in Everett, WA, Jean moved to Tucson in 1962 with her growing family. She raised five children on the northwest side. Since 1987 Jean has enjoyed her many friends and social activities at Rincon Country West RV Park, where she was member and past president of the RCW Woodcarvers Club; always creating something beautiful with her talented hands. Jean will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her second husband, William L. Pryor. Jean is survived by five children, David L. Zimmer, Debra A. Zimmer, Bobbi J. Zimmer Johnson, James A. Zimmer, and William W. Zimmer; two step-children, Lynn Pryor Scheyd and William L. Pryor; and nine grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters, Leona Beattie of Sunnyvale, CA, Arline Douglas of Everett, WA, and Caryl Glassman of Marysville, WA. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert S. Craig, and is survived by four children, Herb Craig (Emerald), Wally Craig (Barbara), Linda Andaloro (Michael), Jim Craig (Annette); and by eight grandchildren. GOFF, Rev. Reginald F., 90, resident of Tucson since 1963, passed away September 23, 1996. Born in Clarksburg, Ontario, Canada, December 7, 1905. He is survived by his wife, Verla; a son, James and wife Ann of Tucson; a daughter Ruth and husband the Rev. Robert Penton of Mobile, Alabama. “Reg” was the proud grandfather of Amy Goff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada. Upon graduating from Asbury College in Wilmore, KY, Reg and Verla were married and began a 27 year pastoral ministry in the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church. This included long pastorates in Trementon, Utah and Worland, Wyoming. He continued for an additional 23 years in ministry as leader of Prayer Life Seminars, Retreat speaker, and in missionary work which took him to every state in the U.S. as well as Canada, Mexico, Africa, South America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, India and Pakistan. He was a popular speaker in Christian Ashrams, Camps Farthest Out, and various denominational Churches. He was the author of two books: “Prayer, An Exciting Adventure’ and “Helps For Praying Christians’. Memorial Service will be held for Rev. Goff Tuesday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m. in First United Methodist Church, 915 E. 4th St, with Pastor Rev. David Devereaux officiating. Private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given to First United Methodist Church, Tucson; Circle J. Ranch, Wyoming; or Association of Camps Farthest Out. He loved people so much and will be deeply loved and missed by his family and scores of friends around the world.
