BAYNE, Claribel B., 88, an Arizona resident for 61 years, died August 24, 1996. She was born in Fitzgerald, GA March 19, 1908.Survived by her daughter, Betty Edmonson; granddaughter, Nancy E. (Matt) Jensen; grandson, Neil W. (Debra) Edmonson; and great-granddaughters, Dani, Kelly, Cody and Lori Edmonson, all of Tucson. Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Mrs. Bayne's name may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 2450 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., Tucson, AZ 85719. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

BOUCHARD, Herman Joseph, 82, originally of Taunton, Massachusetts and for almost 40 years of Tucson, AZ, died Monday, August 26, 1996. Survived by loving wife, Rita of 49 years; sons, Bruce (Diane) of Lusaka, Zambia, Africa, Dennis (Kathy) of Tucson, Michael (Polly) of Tucson and Robert (Brandi) of Tucson; sister, Irene Talbot of Pittsfield, MA; grandchildren, Kevin, Danielle, Heath and Tyler. Herman was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alice as well as his brother Leo, all of Massachusetts and grandchildren, Nicole and Dennis Jr. Herman was a member of the Massachusetts Club #1 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 329, Cranston, RI. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, with the Rosary to be said at 7:00 p.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Magee. Funeral Mass to be said 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 30 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd. Burial will follow at later date in Taunton, MA. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Souther Arizona Chapter in the name of Herman Bouchard in lieu of flowers.

KOEHLER, Paul M., 63, of Tucson, died August 26, 1996. Survived by wife, Eva M. Koehler of Tucson; son, Paul M. Koehler, Jr. of Tucson; daughters, Cindette Andersen and Kanda Koehler, both of Phoenix and Debbie Vaughn of Payson; grandchildren, Kristin, Brian, Gretchen, Faith and Destin; great-grandson, Dossette; brothers, Kuno Koehler of MN and John Cummings of WA; sisters, Marlys Hathaway of Sierra Vista, Doris Cummings of WA and Joan Bain of IN; uncle, Otto Koehler of TX; and many nieces and nephews. Services Thursday, 2:00 p.m., EVERGREEN MORTUARY, with Pastor J.C. Joiner of New Testament Baptist Church officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. MALOY, Olive M., 85, died August 26, 1996. Mother of Alice Burns; grandmother of Kevin, Scott, Jeff and Daren Burns; three great-grandchildren also survive. No services planned. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

MARTIN, Richard J., born on October 23, 1913 in Omaha, NE and went to be with the Lord on August 24, 1996. He is survived by his wife Deborah Carles Martin; daughter Elizabeth L. Martin; son, Richard J. Martin, Jr.; brother, Bill (Bernice) Martin; many friends and relatives. Services will be at Saint Alban's Episcopal Church, 3737 N. Old Sabino Canyon Road. The services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 1996. Burial arrangements provided by BRING'S Funeral Home. Remembrances may be made to Family Hospice Care, 1920 W. Rudasill, Tucson, AZ 85704.

PRIESTMAN, Madaline C. Riley, 99, of Tucson, passed away August 24, 1996.Survived by son, John W. Riley, III (Jean); grandchildren, Deborah Ann of Austin, TX, John IV (Elizabeth) of Prescott, and Jay(Deirdre) of Chicago; great-grandchildren, Sean, Siobhan, Rory, Michael, Patrick, Shannon, Cameron, and Brendan; nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles K. Priestman and John W. Riley, Jr., and daughter, Rieva Lou Riley. She and her first husband retired to Tucson in 1952. Later they developed El Oasis Addition and Mecedora Club Estates with son. She became a widow in 1962 and married Charles in 1982. He died in March of this year at 99. There will be no services at Madaline's request. She will be reunited with her daughter and first husband at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

SAVAGE, Patrick C., 78, passed away August 23, 1996. Born in Globe, AZ on February 14, 1918. Survived by wife, Joan; sister-in-law, Mary C. Savage of Albuquerque, NM; five nieces and two nephews. Preceded in death by sisters, Loretta Whitney and Margaret Dixon, brothers, Rev. Thos V. Savage, S.J., John Savage and Paul Savage. Prior to retirement he was associated with Timberbeam Homes in Flagstaff. Our thanks to the staff at TMC and Handmakers Nursing Home for their care and kindness during Pats illness. Memorial Service will be held at SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, 1946 E. Lee, at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3 with Rev. Wagner officiating. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

SEAWATERS, Oscar Lewis, 66, a 55 year resident of Tucson, passed away August 26, 1996. Born November 11, 1929 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Fumiyo; daughter, Sada Seawaters; step-daughters, Lisa Yoshino and Ann Kadokawa; stepson, Chris Mallory; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 1996 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. A Graveside Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at South Lawn Cemetery, Rev. Clayton Adams officiating.

STUART, Leonora A., 69, died August 23, 1996 after a long fought battle with cancer. Lee was born in New York City where she attended school and worked as a secretary. She worked for the State Department in Florence, Italy and the British Indies before coming back to the United States and marrying the love of her life and husband of 34 years, William Stuart. Lee loved classical music, opera, mystery books and good food. She will be missed by all whose paths she crossed. Services will be held at HEATH MORTUARY, Thursday, August 29, 1996 at 11:30 a.m.

SUTTER, Debra D., 35, of Tucson, died August 25, 1996. A wonderful wife, mother, and a dear friend who will be missed by those she touched. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Survived by husband, Dale C. Sutter, Jr. of Tucson; father, Tony DeLeon Jr. of Thatcher; daughter, Diana N. Flores of Safford; sons, Willy V. Flores Jr. and Brandon Scott Sutter, both of Tucson; grandson, Christopher Flores of Safford; sisters, Christine DeLeon of Clifton and Barbara Garcia of Mesa; brother, Anthony DeLeon III of Phoenix. Preceded in death by mother, Belia DeLeon. Debbie was a paralegal for the law offices of Haralson, Kinerk and Morey. Services Thursday, 11:30 a.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. URBALEJO, Salvador M., 81, retiree of Milne Truck Line of Tucson, passed away August 24, 1996. Survived by ex-wife, Dora F. Urbalejo; daughters, Centa Urbalejo; sons, William S. Urbalejo (Barbara), Joseph R. Urbalejo, Salvador W. Urbalejo, Jr., Edward V. Urbalejo (Fatima), Elizardo R. Urbalejo (Karen-Anne); sisters, Mary Latcham, Socorro Cicio; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 1996 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (Center Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to Casa de Los Ninos, 1138 N. 5th Ave. Tucson, Arizona 85705.

WILSON, Charles “Buzz”, 66, died August 20, 1996 in Hot Springs, Arkansas of a heart attack. Survived by wife, Ann Tobey Wilson; five children, Jo, Robin, Lyle, Katie and Valerie; 10 grandchildren; nieces, Vicki and Shari; nephews, Craig, Richard, John, Ben, Brad and Charlie; sister, Jo Margaret Wilson Morrison. “Buzz” graduated from Tucson High 1947, University of Arizona 1951 and was a Korean War veteran.

WRIGHT, Marian A., 78, of Sedona, retired TUSD teacher for 25 years, died August 22, 1996 at the Flagstaff Medical Center. She was born in Chicago, IL, moved with her husband, Gil, to Tucson in 1949. She was named AEA outstanding educator in secondary education in 1972. They moved to Sedona in 1985 where she was actively engaged in Republican politics. She was Yavapai County Woman of the Year 1988 and later an officer in the Arizona Federation of Republican Women. Survivors include her husband; sons, Clifford and David; daughter, Marilyn; and brother, Ralph Ashley of Tucson; and four grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31 at the Church of the Red Rocks, Sedona. The family has requested that remembrances be made to the VOCAP Fund, c/o Church of the Red Rocks, Sedona.

GRIJALVA, Frank R., 59, of Tucson, went home to the Lord on August 25, 1996. Survived by loving wife, Sara Vidal; beloved sons, Frank Jr. (Leaetta), Michael (Monica R.), Raymond (Cecilia), Anthony (Letty); parents, Raul and Consuelo Grijalva; sisters, Bertha Hollis, Evangelina Borjon, Lucila Montijo, Delcia Garcia; also survived by 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 1996 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Thursday, August 29, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Church. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Frank graduated from Ajo High School in 1955 and graduated from National Tech School. He was employed by Cyprus Sierrta Minerals for 34 years. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Tucson Golf Club and Twin Buttes Golf Club. He will be missed and loved by family and friends. HUGHS, Margaret Florence, 99, born April 6, 1897, passed away August 24, 1996. She was one of 15 children, all of which preceded her in death. She was also preceded in eternal rest by her husband, John Hughs; sons, Paul and Arthur Hughs, granddaughter, Mabel Louise Seballos. Survived by her daughter, Wanda Williams, daughter-in-law, Val Hughs; grandchildren, Elsie (James) Hoyack, John (Marilyn) Williams, James(Loretta) Williams, Sean (Crissie) Hughs, Ratchel Hughs, Dani (Tom) Wake and Nickie (Roger) Ryan; grandson-in-law, Johnnie, loving husband of Mabel Seballos; 20 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 1996 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., with Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church.

LaBADIE, John J., August 31, 1918 – August 22, 1996 a gardener. Survived by beloved companion, Grace O'Dell; sister, Sister Laetitia Chavez of Atchison, KS; sons, James of Canon City, CO, John of Nicholsville, KY; daughters, Lillian Chavez of Rosemead, CA, Jo Cobb, Emily McCoppin, Pat West and Martha Ortiz, all of Ft. MAYNARD, Lily Shay, born August 20, 1996, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 1996. PERONA NEE HOLMES, Merle H., age 82 of Tucson, AZ, died August 23, 1996. She was retired and preceded in death by her loving husband Dominic Perona and daughter Joyce Marie Perona. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Comeau and husband Gerald of Wanatchee, WA; and four sons, Robert Perona and wife Elizabeth of Joliet, IL, Thomas Perona of Tucson, Larry Perona and wife Lori also of Tucson and James Perona of Tucson. Also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Wednesday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Judy Marvel officiating. Burial will be at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, IL. Santa Cruz; great-grandmother of Christina, Cynae and Francisco Bermudez; sister of Trinidad Rabago and Torivio Martinez, both of Tucson. ABRAMSON, Harry, 92 of Tucson, died August 25, 1996. He is survived by his beloved children, Linda (David) Nathanson of Tucson, Judith Rozel of Tucson.
