BROWN, Candice Leigh, 33, of Tucson, passed away at home on Friday, November 22, 1996, after a determined and spirited dance with a rare form of kidney cancer. She died as she lived–with extraordinary grace, courage, strength, and dignity. To every member of her family and to each of her friends, students, colleagues, and readers, she will always be a beautiful and precious gift, a treasure of the heart we carry with us everywhere. WASHINGTON, Lillie M. (Ford)
Born November 30, 1939
Died November 23, 1996
One thing that I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. (Psalm 27: 1 & 4).
Giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for the special time we spent with our Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Grandmother, a remarkable Christian woman. Lillie was obedient to the voice of God. She knew what she had to do and did it willingly. She comforted, prayed and consoled, gave and was forgiving again and again.
Lillie is singing with the Heavenly Choir. She sang alone and with others and the voices sounded marvelous. With those memories, added to them the music of Heaven and this music is infinitely superior to all we have heard.
Mourning her physical presence yet rejoicing her presence with God are her four sons, Andre, Juan, Raymond Jr. and Reggie Ford, and a host of relatives and friends.
