BRADY, Anita Farrell, Anita Farrell Brady, our beloved angel joined our Lord in heaven, Wednesday, January 29, 1997. She lived a long rich life raising many Arizonans with much love and care. Anita was born 101 years ago, April 17, 1895 in Phoenix, Arizona. She lived for several years in Williams, Arizona and married Lionel R. Brady, the grandson of noted Arizona pioneer Peter Rainsford Brady. Anita and Lionel lived, worked and raised children in many communities around Arizona, including Christmas, Miami, Florence, Winkleman and Tucson. Together they raised five daughters, Virgina, Matilda, Carmen (deceased), Betty and Terry, the Brady girls; and one granddaughter, Geraldine J. Osborn-Jones (Bob). Anita is survived by 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren. Anita leaves behind many friends and many family members who loved her. Thank God she came our way and we’ll all miss you grandma Brady! Wednesday, February 5, 1997 a Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church located at University Blvd and Main. Services will follow at the graveside in East Lawn Palms Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., 5801 E. Grant Road. LUDTKE, Harold G., 81, died February 1, 1997. Survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Dennis and Craig (Donna) Ludtke; grandchildren, Christopher and Lauren; brothers, Gene, Robert and James Ludtke. Harold had been employed with NCR for 28 years before his retirement. Served in the U.S.Marine Corps during WWII seeing action in the south seas during that time. MILLER, Clesta Ottilie, 96, of Tucson, died February 2, 1997. Her husband of 75 years, Floyd L. Miller preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Kratz of Tucson; and her son, Kenneth Miller of Michigan; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. During World War II she worked in the Engineering Dept. of General Motors in Detroit, MI. She was an accomplished musician, world traveler, active church member both here and in her home state of Michigan, and committed volunteer. MUNSON, Chester A. 'Chet'87, of Tucson, passed away February 1, 1997. She belonged to the PEO, Desert Classics and was a direct descendant of the Mayflower. BRONSON, Louise passed away peacefully at her home on January 27, 1997. Dr. Bronson was one of the original eleven faculty members who started Pima Community College. She was Department Chair of Social and Cultural Studies, Honors Program Coordinator, and full-time faculty member in Psychology at East Campus. In addition to these functions Dr. Bronson was a promoter and developer of alternative delivery styles in the classroom, giving national and international presentations on this subject. She was recognized many times for teaching excellence and motivation. Dr. Bronson is survived by Brad, Diane and Suzanne. LONG, SR., Wallace H., age 73, died of leukemia at St. Joseph’s Hospital on February 1, 1997. Survived by wife, Pauline; son, Wallace, Jr. of Salem, OR; daughters, Patricia Fallin, Roxie Gia- coma, and Janice Pratt, all of OK; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; also four sisters, Beatrice Dvorak, Lucille Phillips, Elizabeth Ann Long, and Ruth Standley; three brothers, W.C. and James Long, all of Texas; and J.R. Long, Jr. of England. Mr. Long worked as Manager of Maintenance Methods for Duval/Pennzoil Mining Corp. 34 years, and as a consultant for the mining industry for the past 12 years through his own company, Long Ventures. Mr. Long was unique as a mining engineer and holds many patents in his name for improvements in mining equipment. Honorary pallbearers will be mining industry associates. MOORE, Lois Echols, died February 1, 1997. A true native of the southwest, she was born in Ludders, TX in 1907 and attended school in Lubbock, Texas where she met and married T.E. Moore who died in 1973. She followed her husband’s construction work through Texas, New Mexico and Arizona before settling in Tucson in 1943. She and Tommy leave four daughters, Helen Winski (Jim, deceased), Carol Davenport (Joubert, deceased), Shirley Wilcox (George), and Barbara Roberts (Chuck). She has 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Lois was a member of Olana Temple Daughters of the Nile, and Eastern Star.
