Survived by wife, Giah Gray of Phoenix; children, Rickey Glenn, Larry Glenn, Gabrielle Banks and Jazmine Gray; sisters, Sharon and Wilamina Gray; father, Harvey (Josephine) Gray; Tucson’s extended family, Dorothy James and Tye Turner. Funeral Service, 12:00 noon Friday, February 21, at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 210 East Lester in Tucson. Rev. T.E. Gantt from San Bernadino, CA officiating. Interment in South Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements by SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL.

KRAFTHEFER, Angeline Marion, age 83, of Tucson, Arizona, died on February 18, 1997 at Tucson Medical Center. Born October 8, 1913 in Sycamore, IL. She is with her son, Bob and the Lord. Beloved mother of Robert (Dorie), Bev Oskvarek, Kerry (Marilyn), and Terry (Janelle); Also survived by 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emogene and Dorothy. Memorial service will be held Friday, February 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Desert Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1200 N. Santa Rosa, Tucson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Desert Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1200 N. Santa Rosa, Tucson, AZ 85712.

LINDBLOOM, A.I. 'Lindy' 89, died February 15, 1997. Founded Sierra Emblem and Uniform Company in Reno, NV in 1957 and retired in December of 1975. Known by his family and friends as an entrepreneur. Lindy was born in Sweden in 1907 and moved to the United States in 1914. He was a devoted and loving husband to Viola Lindbloom and father to Barbara Griffin of Lunenburg, MA, Donald Lindbloom of Gilford, NH and Robert Lindbloom of San Diego, CA. He will be missed and always remembered. Private family services were held. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ.

LOWERY, James T., 58, of Tucson, died February 16, 1997. Survivors include: wife, Frances of Tucson; son, Michael (Penny) Lowery, Akron, Ohio; daughter, Cina (Brad) Fell, Tucson, AZ; daughter, Mary Litt of Tucson; brothers, Kenneth of Tucson and Fred of Odessa, Texas; sisters, Barbara Lewis, Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas, Maxwell and Sarah. Mr. Lowery was an officer with the Tucson Police Dept. for eight years and was an officer with the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Pima Street Baptist Church and a resident of Tucson for the past 38 years. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), Wednesday, February 19, 1997 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be at Pima Street Baptist Church, 5056 E. Pima, 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 1997, with Pastor Randy Dick officiating. Burial will follow Holy Hope Cemetery. MIGLIACCI, Ronald, passed away Sunday, February 16, 1997. He was born on December 29, 1950 in Queens, New York. He moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1951 and has resided here since. Ron graduated from Rincon High school and attended the U of A. He spent his entire career in the Title Business. Ron is survived by his wife, Marla; his sons, Michael (Marie) and Anthony; his parents, Angelo and Teresa and his granddaughters, Cecilia and Christiana. Ron was a loving husband, father, son and friend. He was respected and loved by his family and friends. Ron left a lasting expression on all the lives he touched. Ron will be sorely missed by all. Funeral service on Thursday, February 20 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, at 4:00 p.m. Father James Coleman officiating. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.

MONTANO, Aida D., 75, of Tucson, passed away February 15, 1997. Survived by husband, Manuel R. Montano; daughters, Lydia Baldridge, Irma (John L.) Sullivan; son, Manuel A. Montano; sister, Tosca Sanchez; brothers, Tizoc (Isabel) Dorame, Jose (Mary Louise) Dorame; grandchildren, Steven, Brian, Christopher, Joseph, Katherine, Elizabeth. Mrs. Montano was an active member of the Legion of Mary and the Marine Corp. Associate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 1997 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson, Blvd., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, February 20, 1997 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 South Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. REDMOND, John, 52, passed away on February 14, 1997. He is survived by his son, John Redmond Jr.; aunt, Sophie Cady; cousins, Gilbert Mesa, Terry Hummingbird, Pat Cady, Daniel Cady, Emelie Cady and Grace Swihart. SINOHUI, Francisco C., 53, of Tucson, passed away February 13, 1997. Survived by wife, Armida Sinohui; daughter, Gloria Sinohui (Rudy Rodriguez); sons, David (Denise) Morris, Frank (Chrisann Rodriguez) Sinohui; sister, Adalina (Ron) Sinohui;brother, Santiago (Rosemary) Sinohui. TEEL, Kenneth A., 64, died February 17, 1997. Survived by long time companion, Ginny Sheldon; family and friends in the Tucson area; four daughters; two sons; 10 grandchildren and two brothers, one sister in South Dakota. TORVIK, Eleanore M., 69, died February 16, 1997. Mother of Lisa Torvik of MN; Mary Torvik of Tucson, Peter Torvik of FL and Joe Torvik of Tucson; sister of Francis Wilschke of CA, Lois Starz of Cottonwood, AZ and Charles Dennstedt of MN; five grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Torvik in 1961 and a brother, Frederick Dennstedt. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

WALTERS, Carolyn Hafner, 67, of Tucson, joined her dear departed husband, Bill, on February 14, 1997. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her mother, Mae Hafner of Fulton, MO; her brother, Conrad (Glenda) Hafner of North Port, FL; her seven children, Roger (Ruthy) Walters of Bartlett, IL, India Thomson of Tucson, John (Vickie) Walters of Hopkinton, MA, Charlotte McDole of Tucson, Julie Walters and Julie Gault of Tucson, Sarah Walters of Las Vegas, NV, and Jessie (Jeff) Huesgen of Tucson; and her three grandchildren, Jennifer and Emilie Thomson of Tucson, and Travis Walters of Bartlett, IL. She was a member of both the D.A.R. and the genealogical society. Memorial service to held at Evergreen Mortuary, 3015 N. Oracle Road, at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 1997. BOISSY, Gilbert E., 73, of Tucson, passed away peacefully February 12, 1997. Retired Pima County Deputy Attorney. Preceded in death by wife, Bernice (Bee). Memorials to the Kidney Foundation, 4019 N. 44th St., Phoenix, AZ 85018.

CURTIS, Marjorie Chapman, of Tucson, AZ. Born January 19, 1933 of Arizona Pioneer families in Santa Cruz County, died February 16, 1997 in Tucson. Survived by her loving family: husband, R.S. 'Dick' Curtis; children, Don Curtis, Peggy Curtis Jelks, Andrea Curtis Olson and Richard Curtis; seven grandchildren also survive. FISHER-MC TAVISH, Jean Marie, 56, died February 15, 1997. Preceded in death by her husband, Cliff in 1991. Survived by sister, Patsy Thies of Show Low; daughter, Donya Fisher of Clifton; sons, James R. Fisher of Parker, CO and John R. Fisher of Duncan, AZ; four grandchildren also survive. She was a member of the Rotary Club in Morenci, worked for the Superior Court Clerks Office in 1986. She was appointed in 1993 by the governor and was elected in 1995 as the Superior Court Clerk. Memorial Service, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 19 at Shepard of the Hills Church in Morenci, Arizona. The family suggests donations to the American Lung Assoc., 2819 E. Broadway, Tucson, 85716. GUSSMAN, Patricia 'Pat' 45, of Tucson, passed away February 16, 1997. Preceded in death by brothers, Henry Diaz and Leonardo Diaz. Survived by husband, David R. Gussman; parents, Augustin and Rachel Diaz; son, Alexander Ornelas; sisters, Genevieve (Jose) Ortiz, Lina (Roberto) Ortiz; brothers, Tony Diaz, John Diaz. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. JAYME, Gabriel Anthony, Gone to join our Lord on February 12, 1997. Born in Douglas, AZ, March 26, 1960. Is survived by parents, Gilbert and Connie Jayme; brothers, Gilbert, Michael, William; sisters, Mary and Anna; grandfather, Eugene G. Ross of Douglas and numerous other relatives. Was preceded in death by grandparents, Louie and Katy Jayme; uncle, R. Jayme, Gabriel was a Desert Storm veteran. Gabriel had a genuine love for others. He touched many people with his kindness. Visitation at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, Rosary, 7:00 p.m. Mass February 20, 11:00 a.m., Santa Cruz Church, 22nd and S. 6th Ave. Cremation following. LEDERMAN, Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Donahue, born April 8, 1922 in Highland, Park, MI, and has lived in Roscommon, MI. Betty died in Tucson February 16, 1997 while visiting family and friends. Betty is survived by her husband, Harold J. Lederman. She is also survived by three daughters; one sons; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Tucson, AZ at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 1997. Mass and burial will be in Roscommon, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations, in Betty’s name, may be made to the Nursing Scholarship Fund at the U of N Post 4159 Roscommon, MI or the the charity of your choice.

LICHTY, Lyall John, 85 years of age, died February 13, 1997 in Tucson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cecile and son, Murray. Born in Ontario, Canada, he graduated from the University of Toronto, 1933, in Chemical Engineering. Lyall, a P.Eng was a member of C.I.M.M. and A.I.M.E. had a long career in mining and metallurgy which began in Canada and later with mining research, development and production projects throughout the world. Specializing in the processing and recovery of base and precious metals, he recently retired after many years in consulting metallurgy. His life has been one of love and dedication as a husband and father and he will be dearly missed. No memorial services will be held except in the hearts of those around him. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Tucson, AZ. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).
