Harold Otto Laabs, 85, of Yuma, died May 29, 2002 in Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Born July 14, 1916 in Oshkosh, Wis., he was a retired plumber.
An inurnment service will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Peter Angelo Marconato
Peter Angelo Marconato, 75, passed away May 27, 2002. He was born October 6, 1926 in Colbot, Ontario. Mr. Marconato worked for 36 years inMine Management in Canada and U.S.A. He was a member of Sabbar Shrine Temple.
Survivors include; his spouse Sonja Marconato of Yuma, son, Tony (Deborah) Marconato, daughter, Tina (Michael) Pavelka, son, Vincent (Patricia) Marconato, sister, Gloria (Elmer) Wigelius, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Marconato was preceded in death by his son, Dino, daughter, Karen and his parents Sante and Lena.
A private memorialwill be held on May 31, 2002.

Willie Marie Condry, 73, of Oregon, died May 25, 2002, in Reedsport, Ore.
A former longtime resident of Yuma and a co-owner of Bonus Electric, she was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Benson, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Private inurnment will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

A former agricultural engineer and resident of Yuma, he was born June 27, 1926 in Oklahoma City.
Service were held in Chandler, Ariz.

Edward Joseph Welsh, 77, of Yuma, died May 28, 2002, at his residence.
Born Nov. 17, 1924 in St. Petersburg, Fla., he was a retired pilot for Pasquinelli Produce.

Maria Natalie (Inki) Arias Jimenez
Maria Natalie Arias Jimenez was born Oct. 3, 1944 in Yuma, AZ and passed away May 22, 2002 in her home in Oceanside, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents Melton and Juna Rodriguez.
Survivors of Maria include her sons, Patrick (Tara) Parto and Fabian Martinez and daughter, Marylou Nobel all of Oceanside, CA.;She also leaves behind her sister Mary Sophie (Bill) Anderson and brother Robert (Connie) Rodriguez. Maria is also survived bygrandchildren; Kassi, Patrick Jr., Sebastian, Desiree, and Klaudia and many nieces and nephews.
Maria was a member of the Saint Mary’s by the Sea Church. Her cremation will be held privately and a Rosary will be held at I.C. Church June 1st at 7:30 am., with Mass at 8:00 am. Family and friends will be gathering at the home of Robert and Connie Rodriguez. May Inki rest in peace. She will be greatly missed.

Jose Gonzalez passed away on May 24, 2002 in Yuma, AZ at the age of 29. Jose was born on December 18, 1972 in King City, CA. Jose worked at Food City and was a member of Victory Outreach.
Jose is survived by his parents Dionicio and Beatrice Gonzalez; brothers, Juan Antonio and Jesus Gonzalez and sister, Veronica Gonzalez.Jose also leaves behind his son,Angel Jesus Gonzalez; daughter, Priscilla Gonzalez and their mother, Aracely Balderrama. He also leaves behind his Fiance, Rebecca Lizarraga.
Visitation will be held at Johnson’s Mortuary on May 30, 2002 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on May 31, 2002 at 11:00 am. Donations can be made in care of the family.

Barbara Jean Gussow, 73, passed away May 20, 2002 in La Jolla, Ca. She was born January 19, 1929 In Rexburg, Id. Mrs. Gussow was a Sales Clerk at 14 years of age, owned and operated Vista Bridge Center, Manager of Emerald Spirit Deli, and owner, operator of Barbara’s Fashions. She was a Silver Life Master member ofA.C. B.L. and operated Sunrise Bingo Club.
Survivors include her husband Marvin Gussow of Yuma, Az., sister, Shirley (Chuck) Hunter of Burley, Id., granddaughter, Melissa (Jeff) Wilson and great granddaughters Krystie, Kayla, and Kelsey Wilson all of Waldport, Or.
Mrs. Gussow was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean Archer and daughter Laura Jean Zollinger.
Memorial services will be held at Sunrise Mobile, 10:00 a.m., Sunday, June 2, 2002. Funeral services and internment were held May 24, 2002 in Blackfoot, Indiana.

A retired owner and operator of Uptown Drug Store, she was born Feb. 19, 1910, in Jacksboro, Texas.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with intermenty following in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Born in Louisville, Mo., on Aug. 11, 1916, he was a retired Southern Baptist minister.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Mortuary. The funeral will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at Johnson's with burial following at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
