WORTHINGTON, Edward Basil, 80, of Tucson, passed away July 21, 1997. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mona he is survived by his daughter, Casey Worthington; son, Michael and sister, Molina Neives. Ed was born April 12, 1917 in Tumcumcari, NM. As a child he moved to Clovis, NM where he grew to adulthood. Ed served in WWII and after his discharge from the service returned to Clovis, NM. He moved to Flagstaff and married his late wife, Mona. He owned and operated a custom paint contracting business there for many years. Mona and Ed moved to Tucson in April 1995. Jessie E. Antone 'Grandma', Age 85 of Tucson, died July 18, 1997 in Tucson. Mrs. Antone was born and raised in Topawa but later moved to Tucson where she resided for her adult life. She held mass at her residence until St. Nicholas Church, which she helped establish, was built. She was active in holding dances and other gatherings including birthdays and anniversaries as well as church socials. Mrs. Antone was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Rios. Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth Manuel; grandchildren, Alexandria, Patricia and Mary Rios, all of Tucson, Naomi Manuel of Tucson; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. PARVELLO, Virginia, age 71 years and her daughter, Linda Parvello, age 39 years, entered into rest on July 15, 1997. Virginia and Linda were natives of Tucson and resided on the Tohono O’odham reservation at Sells. Immediate family survivors include daughters, Sandra Lee (Herbert), Carol Noriega (George), Florene Parvello and son, Anthony Parvello (Margelean); a nephew, Christopher Valenzuela and great-nephew, Phillip Valenzuela. In addition to her sisters and brothers, Linda is survived by her son, James Reino, Jr. and ex-husband, James Reino, Sr. Grandchildren include, Michelle Parvello, Lisa Lewis, Sanford Parvello II, Treena Parvello, Yvonne Lee, Pauline Noriega, Alan Noriega, George Noriega II, Dena Parvello, Sonia Escamilla and Javier Escamilla.
