FIELD, Bettye M., born April 28, 1921, passed away July 7, 1997. Beloved wife of Harry L. Field; mother of Sharon (William) Treumann; grandchildren, Elizabeth (J.C.) Ballweg, Neilson Field Treumann, Stacie Treumann and great-granddaughter, Britni Ballweg. She attended high school and Haddock Business School in her hometown of Jacksonville, FL. Later attending the University of Tennessee and NAU. married Harry on March 1, 1941 and lived in many places including Hawaii and Japan, while Harry was in the Army. Moved to Flagstaff in 1955 where she was president of the Flagstaff Symphony Guild, member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Life Master in the ACBL. Moved to Tucson in 1972 and was president of the Tucson Delta Delta Delta Alumnae and Psi Psi Psi. She was also a member of the Tumbleweed Homemakers. Capt. Robert A. Frankl, U.S. Air Force, died on July 7, 1997 in a vehicle accident while serving his country in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. He was 36 years of age. Capt. Frankl who was stationed here at Davis-Monthan worked in the manpower office. He is survived by his wife, Lori M.; a daughter, Ashley B.; two sons, Brian J. and Eric R. and his father, Tom. OPPEN, Eugene 'Ken' K., 66, passed on to a better place on Sunday, July 6, 1997. Ken is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dolores Ann; and his son, Robert Kenneth of Gilbert, AZ.
