Robert Conrad, 98, entered in to eternal life on April 1, 2002 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Born in Tower, IN on July 11, 1903, Robert has resided in Yuma since 1936.
Until his retirement Robert owned and operated Conrad’s Auto Repair in Winterhaven. An active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, he was always ready to serve in any way he could.
Robert is survived by his wife of over 76 years, Opal, and children LeRoy Conrad, Lowell Conrad, Mary Klein and Reda Leatherman; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his children Ruth Conrad and Lessel Conrad, and four grandchildren.
A Memorial Service celebrating Robert’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3030 South Eighth Avenue, with Rev. Jim Burch and Rev. Doug Bobbitt officiating.
Private burial was held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church.

Robert E. Seabury
Robert E. Seabury, 74, of Yuma, AZ, and San Diego, CA, formerly of Mobile, Alabama, died July 10, 2002, in San Diego.Mr. Seabury had owned Seabury Chevrolet & BMW in Yuma, Arizona.He was a Navy Veteran who served in WWII and the Korean War and was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a former Phi Kappa Sigma alumnus, Class of 1951.He was a past Rotary Club President and served on the Board of Indian Affairs and the Board for Arizona Western College.Mr. Seabury was a Lifetime Member of Navy League, a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Yuma, and a sponsor of the Little Leagues, Bowling Leagues, and golf tournaments in Yuma that benefited several charities.He was a member of the Elks #476 for 24 years and a member of the National Automobile Dealers Association and the Arizona Automobile Dealers Association for 19 years.Mr. Seabury, the husband of Mary Seabury, also leaves his daughter, Pamela Malone.The family requests that memorial donations in honor of Mr. Seabury be sent to The San Diego Hospice, the San Diego Humane Society, or a charity of the donor's choice. A memorial will take place on July 20 @ 11 am at the "Rose Garden" pergola in Balboa Park on Park Blvd. @ Village Dr.Parking available in the Natural History Museum lot across the street or park along Park Blvd. by the rose garden.
Harold “Bud” Leo Rosbach
Harold “Bud” Leo Rosbach, 77, of Yuma died July 9, 2002 at Yuma Regional Medical Center, with his family at his side. He was born December 17, 1924 in Saginaw, MI.
Bud joined the service in 1943 where he was a radar operator for Co. B 597 Signal Air Warning Battalion and a Veteran of WWII. After the services, he was a Police Officer in Saginaw, MI. He moved to Arizona in 1958, where he became a Prison Guard in Florence, Arizona. He had a great love for the road and driving his trucks. He was on the road for many years with Bud Antle of California and he eventually retired from Dole. He also worked for Don Kellands Materials. At 77, he was still driving for Best Block and Pipe, when his illness forced him to retire.
His greatest love in life was his wife and family. His wife of 42 years, Shirley Mae Rosbach; 7 children, Lee Rosbach, Vicky Christensen, Nicki Whitehead, Mark Rosbach, Greg Rosbach, Paige Garza and Brad Rosbach; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren survive him. His parents, Leo Rosbach and Mrs. Augusta Passow and his grandson, Dustin Garza precede him in death.
Bud was a kind, endearing and gentle man that will be deeply missed by all who knew him; he always said he didn’t know anyone that didn’t like him.
He will be laid to rest at Queen of Heavens in Salinas, California next to his grandson, Dustin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
Charles R. Rogers
Charles R. Rogers was called home by his Creator on July 9, 2002 at Yuma Regional Medical Center with his loving family and some close friends by his side.
Charles, known by his friends as “Chuck” or “Roger” was born April 19, 1933 in Teague, Texas. His family moved to Houston when he was 5 years old. He grew up in Houston and joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving his country during the Korean conflict.
Upon discharge from the Marine Corps, he studied electronics in a college in Houston, Texas. After graduation he set out to make a permanent home in San Diego, CA.
On the way he accepted a temporary job in Yuma with Yuma-Mesa Radio and TV. In Yuma he met and married Charlotte Rae Gilbert and together they made their permanent home in Yuma.
Chuck had recently retired from Farkas TV, a retail television store, which he owned for more than 30 years. Part of that time he was in partnership with Betty Farkas.
Before retirement Chuck was deeply involved in the Yuma Trap & Skeet club for many years. Second only to his love for his family and friends, Chuck loved most hunting, fishing, golfing and camping.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rae, two daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and David Mickus of Proy, Montana, Carol and Kim Yackle who live in Wellton, Arizona and Grandchildren, Sheila Michels and Del Yackle. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, his brother, Doyle Cook of Seattle, Washington and his sister, Betty Rogers of Houston, Texas.
Memorial services for Chuck will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13th at First Presbyterian Church, 598 7th Ave., Yuma, Arizona.

Chuck’s family and many friends will always remember him for his generosity and kindness, his fairness in dealing, his humor in time of happiness or stress and his unexplainable ability to appear anytime and anywhere his help was needed.
