Matt Rossell, 60, went to live with the Lord on August 30, 1997, in Tucson, Arizona, after a short bout with cancer. He was born in Mesick, MI, on June 17, 1937. He married his wife, Pat, in 1961, and together they moved to Arizona. Matt served in the Navy for four years. He was a graduate of Pepperdine University. He worked for Valley National Bank for 30 years and retired in 1992. Matt was a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a loyal friend to all who knew him. Matt was an honest man and lived a life of integrity. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pat Rossell; children, Kathy Hutcherson, Mark Rossell and Sheila Baker; sons-in-law, Bill Hutcherson and Warren Baker; mother, Gwen Rossell; sisters, Lavonne Nelson and Freda Graves; and brother, Arvid Rossell. Dear loving husband and father, we find comfort in knowing that you have gone to live with our Lord, Jesus Christ, in Heaven. We look forward to the day we see you again. TOBIN, Irwin L., 70, of Tucson, formerly of Miami and Chicago, died September 1, 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haymon and Fanny Tobin; and two sisters, Rose Tobin and Bernice Tobin Schwartz. WOLF, Denise M., 41, of Tucson, passed away August 30, 1997. Judy Dulfer Young, 50, died September 1st, 1997. Judy, a long-time resident of Tucson, grew up in Burlingame, California. She is survived by her loving husband, John F. Young; two precious daughters, Jennifer Young and Jessica Young, all of Tucson. She is survived by three loving sisters, Gretchen (George) Williams of Danier, CA, Marguerite (Dan) Fitch of Grand Junction, CO, and Mary Atkinson of San Jose, CA; brother and sisters-in-law, Greg Ridley of Lafayette, CA, Sam and Grace Young of Tucson, Tom and Kay Young of Austin, TX, Bill and Kathy Young of Tucson, and Bob Young of Washington, DC; 17 adoring nieces and nephews, Tom and Dan Ridley, Rick and Jennie Dulfer, Adam and Matthew Fitch, Heather and Elizabeth Young, Danielle, Nolan and Rebecca Young, Erin, Sam and Ben Young, and Kelsey and Carrie Young, and many caring friends. The way in which Judy embraced life was an inspiration to family and friends. She displayed continual strength, dignity and an incomparable positive outlook throughout her battle with cancer. Judy had a passion for gardening, teaching basket weaving and decorating at Christmas time. She will be remembered for her sincere devotion to her family, her bright nature, her kindness – as abundant as the flowers in her garden and her exuberant approach to life. BECK, Kathleen E., passed away on August 27, 1997 in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a long illness. Mrs. Beck was born on January 16, 1922 in Calgary, Alberta. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Beck Algeo and husband John of Albuquerque; her two grandchildren, Frannie Algeo and Robert Algeo; and her brother, Kendall Begert and wife Beverly of Vancouver, British Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jean R. Beck. Kathleen was a long-time resident of Tucson until her move to Albuquerque in 1993. She was an active member of Arizona Friends of Music, the University of Arizona community, an avid would-be-golfer, and involved in various organizations until her illness prevented her from enjoying these activities. She will be remembered by all as a caring and loyal friend who had a great sense of humor and opinions about many things. Burial will take place in Canada. In lieu of flowers, her daughter has asked that gifts be made in Kathleen’s memory to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Johns Hopkins Hospital, 5065 Outpatient Center, 601 N.
