MILLS, Bryce, 24. In loving memory of Bryce, who passed away on October 24, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by parents, Jack and Vickie Mills; sisters, Whitney Mills and Chantel Barnett; brother-in-law, James Barnett; niece, Presley; nephew, Cole; grandparents, Jim and Dortha Gibbard, of Selma, AL; grandmother Lu Mills-Sheetz of Newport Richey, FL; and special friend, Danelle Cartun. Bryce will always be remembered for his charm, strength, determination, spirit and love. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many friends, near and far, who provided their support throughout this very difficult time. A special thanks to the Scottsdale Mayo Clinic staff and the Scottsdale Memorial staff for this effort. Bryce will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, and he touched many. HARRIS, Luther M., 86, died October 24, 1997. Husband of Margaret Harris; brother of Joan (Dudley) Fox, Leander Harris. Numerous loving nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Harris was born in the Arizona Territory on April 3, 1911 on the Canoa Ranch. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Harris lived most of his life on McGee Ranch. Graveside Service, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at McGee Ranch Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

IMEL, Nancee O., 54 years old, died Monday, October 20, 1997 in Tucson.Survived by her husband, Henry Imel of Tucson; and sister, Marylee Wall of Tucson. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at Odd Fellows Hall, 1150 N. Palo Verde. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements handled by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 881-0338. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to local chapter of American Lupus Foundation.

ROSS, Mable M., 102, went to be with her Lord on October 21, 1997. Predeceased by husband John W. Ross Sr., son John W. Ross Jr., granddaughter Britt Ann Ross.Survivors include: daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Ross; daughters, Margaret (Donald) Arveson and Yvonne Hoarn; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Ross was born in Tuscola, IL on August 12, 1895. After attending college, she taught school in Tacoma, WA, after WW I. She lived in Phoenix, Prescott and then here in Tucson where she has lived for over 60 years. She was active in politics and in 1936 was president of the Arizona Democratic Womens Clubs. She attended First Baptist Church and Bible Study Fellowship. She also enjoyed music and played both the piano and harp. Private Graveside Services were held on October 24 at East Lawn Cemetery. Contributions in her memory can be made to Desert Christian High School, 7777 E. Speedway, Tucson, AZ 85710 or to Fountain of Life Lutheran School, 710 S. Kolb Rd, Tucson, AZ 85710.

Dr. Earl D. Weiler, 80 years old, passed away Friday, October 24, 1997. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen; son, Richard Earl Weiler; daughters, Polly E. Martin and Linda Sue Weiler; brother, Dr. Bernard S. Weiler; grandchildren, Jennifer Kerley and Jeffrey A. Kautenburger; and great-grandson, Zachary T. Kerley. Earl was born in Dragoon, Arizona in 1917. He graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School in 1943 on his birthday, and returned to Tucson where he practiced dentistry with his brother. Earl was a practicing dentist for 49 years. He served as Past President of the Dental Society and was a lifetime member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge #385. He was a Captain in the Army Air Corp and served as a dental officer from August 9, 1943 until August 5, 1946 in China, India, and Burma. He received the American Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Medal. Earl was a lifetime hunter, fisherman, and an expert marksman. He supported the U of A football team by being one of their biggest fans, having only missed one game in 51 years. At age 80, Earl was an active member of a bowling league. We will miss you more than words can say and will love you always. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 1997 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

WELLS, Dolce Adell, a past long time resident of Tucson, passed away October 24, 1997 in San Jose, California. Born in San Francisco October 18, 1907, Mrs. Wells was a homemaker, and the wife of the late Wescott J. Wells, and had lived in California just one month prior to her death. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Ann Wells of San Jose, and one grandson, Shawn Freed. Private services will be held in Tucson.

Marilee Barba (Manley), In loving memory of the kindness and most beloved mother. Marilee was taken unexpectedly back to her maker early in the morning of October 23, 1997 (the date of her own mother’s birth 1924.) She leaves many unfinished dreams and would hope that both her family and the entire human family continue her visions. Marilee is survived by Juan J. Barba, her best friend; Micah T., her only and most loved son; Jessika L., her pride, joy and only daughter; Anjelica Rodriguez, the granddaughter who the angels blessed; Lillie Manley, grandmother; Marshall T. Manley, father; Shellie, Terris and Joni, sisters; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends who miss her deeply already. A Memorial Service is planned for Monday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Chapel within St. Mary’s Hospital, 1601 W. St. Mary’s Rd. There will also be a service held in Phoenix the following day.

BRADBURY, Clarence W., 76, of Tucson, died October 23, 1997. Husband of Margaret M. of Tucson; father of Richard N.(Rosemary) Bradbury of Bridgeport, CT, William M. (Patrice) Bradbury of Norwych, CT; four grandchildren, Christina, Daniel, Katherine and Christopher Bradbury. Mass at St. Peter and Paul Church, Monday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Hope Cemetery. Ruth Ethel Clinton, 71, died October 18, 1997. Mother of Wayne Neuhaus of Elgin, AZ, Harold Neuhaus of Forked River, NJ and Kathy Underwood of FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Memorial Service 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 1997 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 5325 E. Pima, 85712 in memory of Ruth E. Clinton.

ETZWILER-SPENCER, Richard Aaron, infant son of David Spencer and Amy Etzwiler, died October 23, 1997 at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson, KS. Survived by parents, David Spencer and Amy Etzwiler of Hutchinson, KS; three half-sisters, Gina Lynn Spencer, Amber Marie Spencer, Kathryn Joann Spencer, all of Hutchinson, KS; grandparents, Beverly Joann Spencer of Hutchinson, Richard Lee and Valerie Irene Etzwiler of Arizona. Private services will be held. Arrangements by Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, KS 316-663-3327.

FEDER, Elsie, 90, of Tucson, died October 23, 1997. She is survived by her sons, Herbert (Shirley) Feder, Jerome ”Jerry” (Elayne) Feder, all of Tucson and David (Elayne) Feder of Chicago, IL; sister, Rose Rosen of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Paul Feder on May 20, 1983. Mrs. Feder was very active in the community. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. A graveside service was held Friday in the Congregation Anshei Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky of Congregation Anshei Israel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.

GREENBERG, Gayle E., 60, of Tucson, died October 21, 1997. Mother of Nathan R. Greenberg of Tucson, Tia B. Greenberg of Long Beach, CA. Funeral Services will be held in Ft. Lee, NJ. Arrangements by ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave. (888-1111).

REILLY, Helen E., of Tucson, passed away October 22, 1997. Survived by sisters: Alice R. Christian and Jeanne F. Reilly; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Helen was born in Tucson, AZ. She attended Loretto Academy in Bisbee, AZ, then graduated from St. Mary’s College, South Bend, IN. Helen owned and operated her own child care facility, Nursery Prep. Helen worked for many years for the family business, Reilly Funeral Home, until retirement. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 1997 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Santa Cruz Church, 1220 S. 6th Avenue, with Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be offered on Monday, October 27, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO’S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

RICHEY, Adele C. Survived by beloved husband, W. Shelley Richey; her daughter, Jeanine, son-in-law, Dave Duncan, grandsons, Shelley and Chris Duncan; and her brother, Gene Colaw. Adele passed away on October 17, 1997 and services were held for the immediate family and close friends at Santa Catalina Mission on October 20, 1997. Adele will be remembered as a loving wife, a caring mother, her son-in-law’s best fan, a nurturing Gramie and her brother’s best friend. She will be missed by all who loved her.

TERRILL, John R., age 88, of Tucson, formerly of Pekin, IL, died at 4:05 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 1997 at the Forum Senior Living Community. He was born August 30, 1909 in Randolph County, Missouri to James and Dana Holtclaw Terrill. He married Edna C. Lynn in 1932. He was a member of Saguaro Christian Church and also a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He retired in 1972 after 27 years of service for Westinghouse Air Brake Company, an American Standard Company in Peoria, IL. After retiring he and Edna were southwest regional sales representatives for Loredo Hats and Stetson Wallets for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna, one son, Robert William Terrill, and one great-granddaughter. He is survived by one son, Lonnie Marvin Terrill of Halfway, MO; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Tuesday, October 28, 1997 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME Wednesday, October 29, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Albert Lynn, brother-in-law and Reverend Dennis Williams, officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at Saguaro Christian Church, 8302 E. Broadway, 85710 in John’s name. WACKER, Jane C., 40, of Tucson, died October 22, 1997. Survivors include:husband, Eric; mother, Eileen McMullen of Glendale, AZ; father, Bob McMullen of Wisconsin; brother, Sean of Glendale, AZ; grandmother, Murriel Clarkson of England; mother-in-law, Pat Wacker of Tucson; sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie; nephews, David and Casey. Jane was employed by Desert Gardens Nursing Home as a C.N.A. She was dearly loved by all the staff and residents. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving friends and family. Gerald P. ”Jerry” Brannon, Jr. Lieutenant Colonel USAF (Retired) passed away peacefully in his sleep October 22, 1997. Born February 15, 1929 in Memphis, TN. Survived by wife, Kathleen; son, Gerald III (Pam) of Forth Worth; daughters, Molly Brannon (Tom Ciborowski) of Tucson, Barbara Brannon of Flagstaff, Kathleen Trejo (Dr. Bernie) of Tucson; brother, John (Kay) of Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren; former wife, Loretta; stepdaughter, Lisa Baker. Also survived by many friends and former flight students.Preceded in death by parents, Gerald and Helen Brannon; brother, Charles; and sister, Jane LaFargue. A pilot since age 17, Jerry flew over 20, 000 flight hours in his military and civilian flight career. Colonel Brannon served his country for 21 years including flying 103 combat missions over Korea. His declarations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, Buffalo Regiment Infantry Commendation Medal, El Salvadoran Air Force Air Medal, Taiwan Air Force Medal and many others. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 24 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Funeral Service and burial with military honors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25 at EAST PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ., Reverend Kevin Kritzer officiating. Contributions may be made to Arizona Chapter American Lung Association or Arizona Chapter American Cancer Society for cancer research.

LADD, George Corbette, 73, died October 21, 1997. Survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Stephen (Kaye) Ladd and Scott (Annette) Ladd; grandson, Nicholas Ladd; sisters, Ruth Barr and Naomi Affleck.
