Dale Ellis Ullery, 56, died Jan. 25, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, he had been a restaurant worker.
Visitation starts at noon today with funeral services following at 3 p.m. at the Yuma Mortuary Chapel.

Andrea “Nikki” Ferguson
Andrea “Nikki” Ferguson was bornon 10 May, 1985, in Yuma, and went home to Jesus while being held by her mother, father, brother and sister-in-law on 23 January, 2003, at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Nikki was a happy girl, enjoying her senior year at Yuma High School participating in the fun activities that a 17 year old, young adult should. She enjoyed DECA, FutureBusiness Leaders ofAmerica, and AmericanField Service. She recently enjoyed working on and attending the Winter Formal with her friends. Also, Nikki was attending AWC
(pursing her goal of becoming a nurse, inspired by her years of volunteer work at the hospital) and working at Barnes and Noble coffee shop. Nikki loved her friends and was always making new ones. All those who knew her will miss her beautiful smile. She lived life to the fullest, enjoying every minute.
Nikki is survived by her loving mother and father, Ana and Greg Ferguson of Yuma, brother Eric and wife Heather Ferguson, Tucson,grandparents, Arnulfo Romandia, El Centro, Emilia Romandia, Calexico, and Jim and Betty Ferguson, Van Buren, IN. Uncles and aunts Robert and Mona Romandia, Porterville, CA, George and Bertha Romandia, Calexico, Jeff and Ann Ferguson, Van Buren, IN, Linda and Bill Kalmes, Ocean Springs, MS. Cousins include Susie Romandia of Oakland, CA, Tom and Summer Ferguson, Greentown, IN, Kristy Ferguson, Kokomo, IN and Jasmine Kalmes of Ocean Springs, MS.
Visitation will be at Johnson Mortuary, Thursday, 30 January, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A memorial servicein celebration of Nikki’s life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Friday, 31 January, at 1 P.M. Pastors Jim Burch and Doug Bobbitt will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert Romandia, Jeff Ferguson, George Romandia, Richard Stallworth, Kevin Tunell and Phil Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers are Jenna Cochran, Jessica Cochran, Julia Cochran, Katie Nelson, Chantel Furrow, Maggie Bejot, Tina Shantz, Jessica Arce and Kristen Smith. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Youth Ministries at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Anthony Frank Dick
DIck, Anthony F., age 49 of Cass Lake. Tony was born on January 30, 1953 in Cass Lake, Minnesota to Joseph and Emily Dick.
Tony is survived by his daughter Jana Martineau of Duluth, two brothers: Joseph Dick, Jr. of Laporte, Minnesota and Arno (Mary) Dick of Winterhaven, California, five sisters: Patsy (Benedict) Beauliou of Red Lake, Man., Rose (Henry) Reed of Cass Lake, Minnesota., Bonita (Norman) Deweaver of Anchorage, Alaska, Maxine Day of Cass Lake, Minnesota., and Elaine (Ben) Gotchie of Cass Lake, Minnesota also numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota. Rev. James Moses will officiate. Visitation begins at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2003 at the Veteran’s Memorial Center and continues until time of service. Interment will be at the Morgan Cemetery in Wilkinson Township.

Virgil Thomas Bain - “Doc Tom”
Virgil Thomas Bain, “Doc Tom”, passed away on January 18, 2003 at YRMC. He was a resident of Wellton. Tom was born July 25, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Marshall and Mary Bain.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a Medical Corpsman during the Vietnam War. He last worked as a Physician Assistant at the Wellton Clinic for seven years, where he was highly respected and made many friends throughout Yuma and the east Valley. He was a member of VFW Post 6790 in Wellton and Yuma Elks Lodge 476.
He was preceded in death by his father Marshall and a brother Larry Bain.
He is survived by his mother Mary Bain of Blue Springs, Missouri, and three sisters Peggy Perriman of St. Joseph, Missouri, Linda Woods and Cynthia Marshall of Independence, Missouri.
Private cremation is being handled by Sunset Vista Funeral Home.
Hersey McCarter Robb, was born on December 19, 1915 in Portland, Oregon. He was called home to the Lord while at home with family in Yuma, Arizona on January 22, 2003.
His early years of going to school spent carrying the Oregonian, and graduating from Lincoln High School. His trade was a Forester in the Lumbering Business and retired a Licensed Forester.
He spent three summers working on fishing boats in Alaska. Eventually moved to So. California to work at Aurora Aircraft Plant. Where he met and married his wife Luella, who was the mother of their six children. They lived at Ft. Ross, California where he was owner/operator of a small sawmill. Moved the sawmill operation to Covelo, California. He eventually was employed by Crawford Lumber Company in Covelo. This company in turn was bought by Louisiana Pacific Corp., and he stayed on with them as a Forester. His wife Luella preceded him in death in 1966 in Covelo, California.
He later moved the family to Ukiah, California continued to work for Louisiana Pacific Corp. He met and married his present wife Monica in 1970. He retired from Louisiana Pacific in 1988.
He enjoyed RV traveling for eight years, then settled in Yuma, Arizona with his wife Monica for the past seven years.
He is survived by wife, Monica of Yuma, daughter Bonnie McGrew of Sacramento, California, Daughter Janice Patten of New Delhi, India; son Robert Robb of So. America; son William Robb of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, daughter Sally Robb of Ukiah, California and son Tom Robb of Shekou, China. Their are 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Three nephews and three nieces.
There will be a Memorial Service at the Mt. Cactus Shadows R.V. Park, Yuma, Arizona, on Feb 15, 2003, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the Masonic Lodge officiating.

Louise Joan Turner
Louise Joan Turner, 71 passed away January 22, 2003 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born June 4, 1931 in Ashland, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Turner worked at Evans Farmers Insurance for 15 years as a Secretary.
Survivors include; her husband, James Turner; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Norma Mooney all of Yuma, daughter, Lois Turner and son-in-law William Goff of Eureka, California, niece, Carol Thoryk of San Jose, California, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
No services will be held at Mrs. Turners request.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice of Yuma, 1824 S. 8th Avenue, the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
Louise will be remembered by her family and friends as a bright, generous and loving woman who had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and always provided an empathetic ear to many who were in need of a friend. Louise was unaware of her specialness and she touched more lives than she realized. She will be greatly missed.

Born May 10, 1985, in Yuma, she was a senior at Yuma High School and an employee of Barnes & Noble Booksellers coffee shop.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Mortuary. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Gerald Valdez, 71, of Yuma, died Jan. 24, 2003, in Yuma.
Born March 27, 1931, in Pueblo, Colo., he was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Emily S. Kerwin, 89, of Yuma, died Jan. 24, 2003, at Life Care Center of Yuma.
Born Sept. 25, 1913, in Boston, she was an administrative assistant for an insurance company.
