MORRIS, Dwight ”Mose”, 90, of Tucson, died January 4, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Morris was retired from Great Lakes Pipeline where he was a wage and salary administrator. Later, he also worked for Remington Arms. Mr. Morris was a veteran of World War II, having enlisted in 1943. He served as a communications instructor in the Air Force. He was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and an avid golfer. In his younger years he was active in football, basketball and track. One of his favorite times was being photographed while making a hole in one in a tournament at Skyline Country Club. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 7th at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, 8090 North Northern Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Respite Fund, c/o Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging, 5100 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712.

Leo Rudolf Paffrath, 60, loving husband and devoted father, died January 5, 1998 of heart failure. Without a doubt, Leo will truly be missed. His intellect and passion for learning were an inspiration to those who knew him. Leo’s generosity and dry sense of humor will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Isobel. Leo is also survived by his daughter, Karin and son-in-law, Dan Weinstock; three grandchildren, Isobel, Thomas, and Ciera; daughter, Yvonne; brother, Rudi Paffrath and sister-in-law, Deirdre of Dublin, Ireland; sister, Margaret, and brother-in-law, John Bourke of Dublin, Ireland; nephews, Jonathan, Timothy, Peter; nieces, Caroline, Heidi, Stephanie, and Susan. Leo was born in Dublin, Ireland, on November 8, 1937. He attended University College Dublin, and Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he earned a Ph.D. in Physics. In 1966, Leo and his family moved to Boston where he did research on the solar corona at Harvard. He then continued working on challenging projects at Sacramento Peak Observatory, NM, Kitt Peak Observatory, AZ, Stanford Linear Accelerator, CA, and Brookhaven National Labs, NY. Leo’s greatest gift was his mind – a gift he used with enjoyment. You will remain in our hearts and memories through ”infinity”. The Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas The Apostle, 5150 N. Valley View (Swan and Sunrise), Friday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2583 N. 1st Ave. 85714.

VIDAL, Jose F., 44, of Tucson, died December 24, 1997. Preceded in death by parents, Jose M. and Lorenza Vidal, long time residents of Tucson. Graveside Service, Friday, 11:00 a.m., EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.

Stephen James Waldrip was born January 26, 1955 in Healdsburg, CA. He died January 4, 1998 at his home in Picture Rocks, AZ after a long illness. Steve is survived by his daughter, Marina Waldrip and his former wife and longtime friend, Jewel Severdia Waldrip both of Tucson, as well as his father, James Waldrip; sisters, Evelyn Bass and Lyla Webb; and brothers, Larry Waldrip and Jonathan Ferguson all of CA. Steve was the nephew of Gene and Illeane Mitchell Lyle and Adeline Mitchell and Marie Giffey of OR. He was the uncle of Matthew Holt and Benjamin Bass; Quinten and Megan Huggins; and Michael Waldrip all of CA. He had numerous cousins. Steve was employed by Ratheon/Hughes Missile Systems. He was a member of the Tucson Blues Society. Steve’s ashes will be scattered in the desert he loved, at a private gathering of his friends and loved ones. WINTERS, Wilbert B. (Bill), died January 5, 1998. He was a retired business owner. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine (Gerry); children, Bill and his wife Lauri of Tucson, Colleen of Portland, OR, and stepson, Earl Wiley of Tucson; grandchildren, Peter and his wife Sally, Erin both of Tucson; and one great-granddaughter, Haley Merigold. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, January 10, 1998 at 2:30 p.m., at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7600 North Paseo del Norte. CAMPBELL, Helen Elizabeth Herrmann, daughter of Herbert and Pearl Herrmann. Helen was born May 25, 1919 in Tyrone, NM and passed away on January 3, 1998 at her home in Tucson, AZ. Helen graduated from Dawson High School, attended the University of NM, lived in Morenci, AZ for most of her life, relocated to Ajo, AZ, and finally retired to Tucson in 1979. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Campbell. Helen’s living memory will survive through her children: Ross (Dona) of Silver City, NM, Barbara (Douglas) Brokaw of Tucson, AZ, John (Sheryl) of Tucson, AZ, Bruce (Linda) of Leander, TX; stepchildren: Robert (Margaret) Campbell of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Connie (Sal) Cataudella of Tucson, AZ; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Tucson, AZ. CLARK, Laura E., 85, of Tucson and California, died January 5, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Broderick of California; son, Walter Thompson of Chicago; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and special great-great-granddaughter, Amanda Candace Campbell. ESCARREGA, Ernesto, 60, of Tucson, passed away January 2, 1998. GONZALES, Rafaelita A., age 26, of Tucson, passed away January 2, 1998. Survived by husband, Hector M. Gonzales; parents, Javier and Josefina Acosta; father and mother in-law, Manuel and Alicia Gonzales; stepdaughter, Danielle Gonzales; stepson, Hector Gonzales Jr.; brother, Jose Acosta; best friend, Graciela Ortega; sisters-in-law, Nellie Gonzalez Cecilia Contreras, Sandra Gonzales, Luz Lucero, Yolanda Gonzales, Alicia Gonzales, Silvia Gonzales, Isabel Bravo and Claudia Garcia; brothers-in-law, Pedro and David Gonzales; also survived by many beloved uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 1998 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO’S TUCSON MORTUARY, South Chapel, 240 S. HARRIS, Eva Roberta, 92, died December 30, 1997. Survived by cousin, Neal Clopton of Nebraska. Mrs. Harris was born in Springview, Nebraska. She was a longtime elementary school teacher at Government Heights and a member of 1st Congregational Church, since 1956. Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10th at 1st Congregational Church, 824 N. 2nd Avenue with Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Arrangements by BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

KELLER, Martha R., 86, died January 3, 1998. Mother of Martin (Sandra) Keller of Bonita, CA, Donald (Merlene) Keller of San Marcos, CA, Janet (Tom) Kirchner of Dallas, OR, Esther Ann Nielsen of Thornton, CO, Patricia Keller-Corral of Tucson. Sister of Dorothy Aumend of Shelby, OH. Sister-in-law of Catharine Yetzer and Emma Weaver both of Ohio. 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive. Mass will be offered 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 1998 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft Rd. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Mrs. Keller was a retired L.P.N. MOSHINSKY, Maurice, 86, of Tucson, died January 4, 1998. Survivors include his son, Julius (Suzanne) Moshinsky of Alameda, CA., and two brother, Hy Moshinsky, and Martin Moshinsky. Maurice served in WWII in the Italian Campaign. He also ran a popular delicatessen in Gary, Indiana with his wife, Helen. They retired to Tucson in 1956 where they enjoyed four decades together, until Helen’s death in 1995. Graveside Service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Thursday, January 8, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. with Rabbi Thomas A. Louchheim officiating. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.

Rhonda L. REVERCOMB-NELSON, born May 3, 1969 in Tucson, AZ, she died Dallas, TX, December 22, 1997 of a sudden illness. She is survived by her mother, Melody Harrell of Arlington, WA; and father, Larry Nelson of Tucson, AZ; brother, David Rose of Lacy, WA; husband, Kyle and children, Preston, Destiny, and Alden. She attended Erikson Elementary School in Tucson, AZ. Also survive by uncles, John, Tracy, David, Shawn, and aunt, Heather of Florence, AZ. Rhonda worked at the U.S. Postal Service in Dallas, TX and she wrote children’s books. She was an attendant at the Special Olympics. Memorial Service pending.

PRICE, Roger A., 47, of Tucson, died January 4, 1998. Father of Alan T. Price; brother of M. Suzan Hitchman; uncle of Jennifer and Curtis Hitchman all of Tucson. Memorial Service will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Thursday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Phil Lynn of Casas Adobes Baptist Church officiating. REYNOLDS, Donald E., of Tucson, passed away at his home Tuesday, January 6, 1998, surrounded by his family. Survived by wife, Janice Reynolds; his mother, Edna Christianson Reynolds; brothers, Allen Reynolds of Tucson, Jack Reynolds of Santa Rosa, CA., Paul Reynolds of Medford, OR; and sister Dorothy Gulon of Prairie Grove, AR; also daughter Lisl Rogers; sons, Kenneth, Douglas, Martin and Michael Reynolds of Tucson. Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. Don was a loved and respected Real Estate Broker in Tucson for 30 years, having his own Real Estate office of Reynolds Realty for the past 11 years. He served in the U.S. Army in 1950 – 52 as a communications expert on the front lines in Korea. Don was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather and his life's greatest treasure was his family, knowing they would be together forever as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 1998 at L.D.S. Bonanza Chapel, 700 N. Bonanza. With Visitation one hour before Service time. Thomas Toy Jue, 39, of Tucson, healed himself and the lives of those around him as he transitioned on January 6, 1998. He was preceded by his father, Hin Young Jue. He is surrounded in love by his beloved wife, Ellen Ross-Jue; daughter Emily Kim Jue; his mother, Yung Kim Jue; sisters, Lillian Jue, Mary Yee, Irene (Roland) Chan; brother, Herbert Jue; mother-in-law, Doris Ross; and sister-in-law, Sarah (McKinzie) Ross. He is also loved by three nieces and three nephews and special friend and Little Brother Heath Amons. Tom worked as a radiology technician at Northwest Hospital.
