FETTERLY, Robert L., 75, of Tucson, died December 25, 1997. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Peg Fetterly; children, Rosemary (Timothy) Burch, Linda (James) Yamas, Thomas (Jeanne) Fetterly and Steven (Pamela) Fetterly; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bob was born in Michigan, one of 11 children, five of whom survive him. He served in WW II as an Aviation Mechanic, US Navy in the Pacific. He started Fetterly Construction Company in 1948 and was a Master Builder of fine homes both in Michigan and Tucson. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the charity of one’s choice. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at his home at 1:00 p.m. January 10, 1998.

GRAHAM, Lt. Col (Ret) H. Allen, USAF, died December 27, 1997. He was born in Winfield, Kansas on May 31, 1919 to the late Harold Alexander Graham and Laura Zwiebel Graham. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eloise Terrell Graham; a daughter, Sherrie Graham Perkins (Mason) of Greenville, Texas; a son, Terrell A. Graham of Tucson; brother, Maj. (Ret) Hugh W. Graham (Lola) of Winfield, Kansas; sister, Patricia Graham Fuller (James) of Bellevue, Wash and three grandchildren, Scott Trent and Marcia Trent Holland (Brett) of Dallas and Laura Trent of Minneapolis. Col. Graham attended Kansas State University prior to becoming an Army Air Force Pilot, graduating from Kelly Field in August 1941, flying throughout W.W. II in the Pacific Theater. During his Military Career he was head of Production on the B-52 project. He attended the Staff and Command School at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas and the Air Force School of Technology at Dayton, Ohio. He retired in 1966 as Vice Base Commander of McConnell A.F.B. at Wichita. Following his retirement, Col. Graham continued his education and served in administrative positions at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksbury, VA and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He was an enthusiastic supporter of University of Athletics at the University of Arizona and an avid duplicate bridge player. HEMSWORTH, Genevieve C. 84, of Tucson passed away on December 25, 1997. She was born on January 16, 1913 in Fort William, Ontario, Canada. She moved with her family to Tucson in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hemsworth in 1983 and also by three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine E. JOHNSON, Jessie Irene, age 79, a 19 year resident of Tucson, passed away December 29, 1997. Born May 3rd, 1918 in Alexandria, Minnesota. Mrs. Johnson is predeceased by her loving husband, Arnold Johnson. LEE, William Wallace Jr., 73, passed away on December 26, 1997. He was born in Marietta, GA on November 22, 1924. Mr. Lee was a decorated veteran of World War II where he served with the Army Air Corps. After his service to his country Mr. Lee attended and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1948. Mr. Lee then went to work for Textron Corp., where he was until he retired after 37 years. Upon retirement he became very active with the Kiwanis Club of the Desert, especially its Wright Flight Program. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Tina; son, Edward Wallace (Shelly); grandson, Chris; granddaughter, Brandy; sisters, Lucille Cruse, Katherine Gisel (William), Dorothy Ryden; several nieces and nephews and innumerable friends. While his physical presence we will no longer be able to share, he left behind a legacy of character, honor and unconditional love. MORALES, Dionicio ”Don” age 79, a native Arizonan, joined the Lord December 26, 1997. He is survived by Katherine, his loving wife of 52 years; two daughters, Donna (Daniel) Graves, Jenny (Dennis) Balkema and three grandchildren, Riche’ (Lorenzo) Garcia, Jon and Joseph Graves. Don is also survived by one brother, Edward Morales and four sisters, Eva Underwood, Connie Morales, Carmen Pesqueira, Virginia Angulo and numerous nieces and nephews. Don served in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945 and was awarded the Silver Star and Meritorious Service Award. He retired after 34 years with Citizens Auto Stage. Don and Katherine are members of Enchanted Hills Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. His greatest joys were his family and sharing his love of the Lord with everyone he met. SANDBERG, Carl T. Sr., 77, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his beloved family – the most important thing in his life. Carl ”Ted” had fought a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Marquette, MI to Albert and Marie Sandberg and moved to Rockford, IL with the Sandberg family in 1937. He worked at Rockford Screw Products until serving in the Seabees in 1944, and from there moved to Malta, IL in 1947 where he owned and operated Sandberg Electric. On May 15, 1943 he married the love of his life Eudoris ”Dolly” Toppe and to this union were born Carl, Jr. and Joan. In 1959 he moved his family to Tucson in search of a better climate for his wife. There he became a real estate broker and formed Sandberg Realty which he operated by himself until his retirement in 1985. He also did land negotiations for several mining companies. He loved Arizona, especially the city of Tucson, and left no doubt how he felt about the GREAT SOUTHWEST. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and best friend, Dolly; his son, Carl Jr. and his wife Carol; his daughter, Joan and her husband Stuart Rubin; grandchildren, Danielle, Adam and Brittany Rubin, Erik Sandberg and Daniel and Kenneth Reid; his brothers, Clyde, Edmond and Floyd Sandberg of Rockford, Del of Malta, IL and brother-in-law, Lars Steinsbo of Rockford, also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Evelyn Steinsbo and brother, Robert Sandberg. CARLSON, Harold R., 88, of Tucson, died December 27, 1997. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Norma; one brother, Walter of Chicago; plus many nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago in 1909, Harold was a member of Waldek Masonic Lodge of Illinois. As a veteran of WWII, he was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
