Edward F. McElwain
A Memorial Service for Edward F. McElwain, who passed away on December 3, 1997, will be held at Valley Funeral Home on December 10, 1997 at 3:00 p.m.
To all of you who knew and loved Ed, please join his family in sharing and celebrating this wonderful man - husband to Helen, father to Eddie and Jeff, and grandpa to Amanda, Ben and Tai.
Ed loved life with a passion, and embraced each day with his generous smile and laughter. Ed always looked forward; never fretting about lost opportunities, but only the knowledge gained in taking on new ones.
Not only a great competitor on the tennis court or playing bridge, Ed loved playing Monopoly and other games for hours. His sons and grandchildren always took great delight in trying to beat him - they seldom did, to his great satisfaction.
On December 3, 1977, the day of Ed’s death, the planets lined up with the moon; a rare astrological event. Suffice it to say, Edward F. McElwain, a rare and special man, will be missed so very much by his family. Forever held in our hearts, we love you Ed.
