Cecelia Alice Johnson, 88, died Jan. 14, 2003, in Battle Ground, Wash.
Johnson, who was born April 24, 1914, in Roundup, Mont., was a retired self-employed beautician and had lived in Oregon and in Yuma.
Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Willamette National Cemetery.
Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
David C. Simpson
David Carl Simpson, 65, died Jan. 19, 2003, at his residence.
Born Oct. 31, 1937, in Lake Orion, Mich., he had been in the automotive business.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel with funeral services following at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Desert Lawn.
Bain, of Wellton, was born July 25, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. He had been a physician's assistant.

Ralph E. Gano Jr.
Ralph Eugene Gano Jr., 77, died Jan. 20, 2003, in Yuma.
Born Nov. 20, 1925, in Loveland, Colo., he had been a communication supervisor.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Vista Funeral Home.

Pauline Nielson
Pauline Nielson, 95, died Jan. 18, 2003, in the Yuma Nursing Center.
Born Feb. 24, 1907, in Tulia, Texas, she was a retired waitress.
Services are pending at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego.

Donald Joseph Kruger
Donald Joseph Kruger, born February 1, 1918 in Tacoma, Washington, passed onApril 2, in Santa Ana, California. He had recently celebrated their 85th birthday with his beloved twin sister, Dorothy Collins, of Yuma.
He is survived by beloveddaughters, Robin Kruger, of Santa Ana, California, who lovingly cared for him for the past four years, PJ Waggoner and husband David, of Kirkland, Washington, Tamara Orr and husband Roger, of Los Gatos, California; treasured grandchildren Wendy King and husband Todd, Heidi Waggoner, and Cameron Kruger Orr; and the great-granddaughter in whom he delighted, Cassie Jo King.
Mr. Kruger was preceded in death by his adored wife and business partner of nearly 60 years, Nina, and his sister, Bernice Murray.
Mr. Kruger grew up on a dairy farm in Fife, Washington, and graduated from Fife High School. He began a farming business in Fife, later moving to Federal Way, where he and his wife established Rainbow Ranch. In 1957, the family moved to Olympia, Washington, where he and Nina began a new farm which they successfully ran for 25 years, before retiring. Mr. Kruger servedas a trustee for Central Lutheran Church, and as an advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. He and his wife spent their retirement in Yuma, and also enjoyed RVing- especially to spend time with their beloved family.Mr. Kruger was highly respected and admired within the farming industry, by his family and by all who knew him as a fair, honest, patient, trustworthy person. He was very hard-working, and always available to help someone in need.He was respected by his farm help because he worked next to them, never asking them to do something he wouldn't. Mr. Kruger truly tried to live the Golden Rule.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Lynn Funeral Home, Tacoma, Washington (253) 272-2131. Donations may be made to Heifer International.
Tommy L. Long
Tommy L. Long, 86, of Yuma, died April 5, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 23, 1917, in Weatherford, Texas, he was retired from the U.S. Army and retired manager of the Yuma County Water Users Association.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kammann Mortuary Chapel.

Jack Darrell Weeks, 74, of Yuma and Gresham, Ore., died April 5, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1928, in Curtis, Neb., he was retired from the U.S. Navy and a former bank manager.
No funeral services will be held.

Nancy Jean Chrestensen
Nancy Jean Chrestensen, 71, of Yuma, died April 6, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 26, 1931, in Chatfield, Minn., she was a retired secretary.
A memorial service will take place at noon Wednesday at Sunset Vista Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Vista Cemetery.
