BENNETT, Sharon M., 49, of Tucson, died on February 13, 1998. She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on January 21, 1949, the daughter of Charles and Beatrice Bennett, both deceased. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Ivan C. and Brenda Bennett; her aunt and uncle, Joe and Ruth Campbell; and her dear friend, Rod Roeske, all of Tucson. Sharon was on the Board of Directors of the Child and Family Resources, Inc. since December 1994. She also was a Pima Arts Council Panelist since March, 1995 and a member of the Grants Committee since December 1995. She was President of the Board of Directors of the Catalina Chamber Orchestra in 1995 – 1996. Sharon also taught Managerial and Intermediate Accounting at Pima College last semester. A Memorial Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, on Saturday, February 28, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. The family suggests donations to the University of Arizona Cancer Center in her memory.

BRANHAM, Cliff, age 43, died in his sleep while camping. He was found February 14, 1998. Survived by his mother, Ann Hughart Branham; and stepfather, Philip Mangelsdorf of Tucson; his father and stepmother, Jack and Sue Branham of Hereford; his brothers, Mike of Tucson, and John of California; half-brother, Daryl Branham; stepbrothers, Chris and Craig Branham; uncles, Barry Hughart of Tucson and Peter Hughart of Oregon. Funeral Saturday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 545 South 5th (corner of 5th and 16th), with Fr. Charles Ingram officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please remember Cliff through your favorite charity. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

COWAN, Joan J., age 73, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Cowan of Tucson; one son, Robert Johnson of Tucson; one daughter, Dawn Hallenbeck of Tucson; one sister, Lois Schuster of Tucson; and one granddaughter, Maria Hallenbeck of Tucson. CRAMER, Caroline I., 83, died Tuesday, February 17, 1998 in Tucson. Born on October 28, 1914 in Minneapolis, MN. Survived by son, Ronald Cramer of Phoenix; daughter, Suzanne (Ronald) Nelson of Tucson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private Services. MORRIS, Armanda, 82, of Tucson, passed away February 24, 1998. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a resident of Tucson for over 50 years. Funeral Services will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Friday, February 27, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Heiserman officiating. Interment Decatur, NE. REISINGER, Isabelle A., 86, died February 24, 1998. Survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond; son, Leonard; and daughter, Doris Foster; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild. Private family services were held. Burial was at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

Morgan Louise Hope Rhodus, 20 months, died February 25, 1998 from septic shock and complications of pneumonia. She is survived by her parents, Don and Kimberly Rhodus; grandparents, Jacqui Raymond, Terrell and Evelyn Rhodus and Duane and Ginny Durham; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who loved her very much. Morgan had a special way of bringing people together. With her sweet personality and precious smile, she was instantly loved by everyone who met her. God blessed us by giving Morgan to us; now she's His ”Little Angel.” A special thanks to all the staff at University Medical Center who did everything they could to help our little baby. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 1998 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Services to be held at Golf Links Baptist Church, 6902 E. CHASTAIN, Nadine A. (Collins), born in Newark, Arkansas died February 20, 1998 in Redding, California. Survived by husband James. Mother of Judy (Eugene) Askenasy, Linda (Thomas) Lewers, Jerry (Tanya) Collins. Grandmother of Jacqueline, Pamela, Teresa, Julie, Eric, Jamie and Amber. Sister of Clarence and Jesse Collins, LaWanda Brothers and Katherine Ballentine. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Oscar Collins. ELLIS, Gwendolyn M., 87, died February 24, 1998. Mother of Robert L. Ellis of Sacramento, CA, Ruth G. (Roy L.) Rogers of Tucson; grandmother of Michael A. Magyar, Kellee L. Young, Wayne M. Ellis; great-grandmother of Michael J. Rogers, Cierra L. Young. Graveside Service 9:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 1998 at Desert Vista Cemetery. Mrs. Ellis was a member of O.E.S. in New York and worked as a secretary for Tucson United School District from 1960 until her retirement in the early 1980's. Donations may be made in Mrs. Ellis' Memory to Arthritis Foundation of Southern Arizona Chapter, 6464 E. Grant Road, Tucson 85712. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

Lee Grow, 55, of Tucson, passed away peacefully on February 23, 1998. Lee was born September 16, 1942 in Paris, Missouri the son of O.L. Grow, Sr. and Lucille Grow Zanzie. Lee attended the University of Missouri and the University of Maryland. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Lee was a Past Director of the Tucson Association of Realtors. He served on the Forms Committee, Marketing Sessions, Paint Project and the Realtors Political Action Committee. Lee donated his time, money and talent to the Tucson Hearth Foundations Annual Christmas Auction and Playhouse ticket sales to support the Shalom House for homeless women and children. He was also an active member of the Women's Council of Realtors. He helped with the Annual Show of Shows, the Dessert Auction and was WCR's Membership Chairman. He helped with the Annual Cake Auction for the Cub Scout Pack 213. Lee worked in the Tucson Real Estate Market with A.F. Sterling, US Home, Coscan, Genessee, Realty Executives, and A.M. Hart. He also taught Real Estate Classes for Central Arizona Realty Educators. But most of all he was a friend to all who knew him. Lee loved golfing, bowling, karaoke and traveling. He lived life to it's fullest. He will be remembered for his smile, his kindness and sense of humor. Lee is survived by his wife, Glenda; sons, Jim Grow of Tucson and Eric Zeller of Virginia and their wives, Tracy and Sundee; mother, Lucille Grow Zanzie and step-father, Ed Zanzie of Missouri; sister, Barbara Ensor of Missouri and her husband, Charles; mother and father-in-law, Jessie and Royal Phillips of Tucson; grandmother, Nellie Lyons of Arkansas; brother-in-law, David Phillips of Tucson and his wife, Kathy; three grandchildren, Shaylyn, Tyler and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews, a special friend and golfing buddy, Ed Dodd; and many special friends whose lives he touched deeply. He is preceded in death by his father, O.L. Grow, Sr. and his brother, William (Billy) Grow. There will be a viewing Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and a memorial service to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at ADAIR AVALON CHAPEL, 8090 N. Northern Ave. with interment to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.

GUEVARA, Virginia V., 77, of Tucson, passed away February 24, 1998. Survived by husband, Jesus S. Guevara; daughter, Amelia Romero (Dan); sons, Juan (Trini), George (Dalia), Rene, Jesus Jr. (Maria), Oscar (Veronica), and Pete (Yvonne) Guevara; brother, Francisco Vasquez (Fina); 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitations will be held on Friday, February 27, 1998 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Iglesia Resurrection Bautista, 450 W. Irvington. Service will be Friday, February 27, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. Final Services will follow Saturday, February 28, 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Your presence and comfort are forever gone, but your love and memories will remain in our hearts. Many beloved nephews and nieces. HABERSTEIN, Helen Ross, 90, passed away February 10, 1998. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Haberstein and daughter, Joyce Haberstein. She is survived by her half-brother, John Ross of Fort Worth, TX and various nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Helen was a fashion director in New York City prior to her retirement to Tucson 30 years ago, where she continued to participate in the American Association of University of Women and Alpha Chi Omega. At her request her body was donated to the University of Arizona Medical School, and no services were held. Her niece, Beverly Potts of Miami, Florida and her devoted friend, Alberta Bickerdike, observed her passing with a meditative period in Helen's treasured Santa Catalina Mts., where at a later date her ashes will be scattered.

Ellen F. Hand, 82, of Tucson, passed away February 23, 1998. Preceded in death by her husband John Peter Hand and by her sisters Ethel and Mary and brothers Ernest and Tommy. Survived by children, Johnny (Helen) Hand of Datil, NM, Anita (LaVar) Larson of Emeryville, CA; Patsy (Joe) Frannea of Tucson, Michael (Linda) Hand of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, Hans, Heidi, John, Anita, Jason (Mina), Jolyon and Jarod; sisters, Dorothea and Edna (Orrin); brother, Jake (Mary); sister-in-law, Carmen and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Born and raised in the Bisbee area and a 60 year resident of Tucson, Ellen was very proud to be a native Arizonan. She cherished her family, friends and her beloved ”Hand's Country Place” near the Rillito River. She will be remembered as a strong, generous and caring person who will be dearly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, on her property at 4304 N. First Avenue, followed by interment at South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association, (P. O. Box 13423, Tucson, AZ 85732) or Redeemer Lutheran Church. Arrangements by BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. KERRIGAN, R. Donald, 61 years old, died Wednesday, February 25, 1998 in Tucson. Born on November 16, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa. Survived by his wife, Laraine Kerrigan of Tucson; three sons, David (Ruth) Kerrigan of England, Mark Kerrigan of England and Bryan Kerrigan of Tucson; daughter, Stacy Kerrigan of Tucson; and eight grandchildren.
