BRICKELL, Richard Lee, age 65, of Tucson, died January 26, 1998. He was born November 16, 1932 and was a native Tucsonian. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Frances; one daughter, Brenda Drake; aunt, Virginia Abercrombie; cousins, Charles and Kevin Abercrombie; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Casey and Robert of Phoenix. His second family, Roz and Duke Montgomery, Erin Montgomery, Shannon and Sean Bothwell, Mary and Wayne Smith. Richard was an avid bridge player and loved the mountains, outdoors and sports. He was a member of the Adobe and Ace of Clubs, Exchange Club of Tucson, Saguaro Golf Club, he attended the U of A, and was a Sargent in the USAF (MEDIC). MALONEY, Patrick E., 78, passed away January 24, 1998. He was born in Hope, KS on October 8, 1919. He honorably served his country retiring from the Army (Maj) at Ft. Huachuca and settled in Tucson in 1959. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from The University of Arizona, later retiring from the Civil Service. He was a member of the Masons, VFW, and The Elks. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie; children, Carolyn Hooten (Clyde), Thomas (Cheryl), Michael (Janet) and Randy Maloney; grandchildren, Doug, Julie, Lauri, Christine, Tim, David and Matthew. Arthur Lloyd Addleman, 36, died January 25, 1998. Husband of Miriam R. Addleman of Tucson; father of Sarah C. and Charity R. BERGMAN, William Andrew, was born July 6, 1903 in Trondheim, Norway and immigrated to New York at the age of nine. In 1930 he met and married Lucy Scranton in Tucson, where they lived for the next 46 years until her death of cancer in 1976. In 1979, Mr. Bergman married Grace Stratton who passed away in 1994. After 37 years of employment with the Southern Pacific Railroad, Mr. Bergman retired as Foreman of the Diesel Repair Division. 'Bill' as his friends called him, was greatly loved and respected by everyone who ever knew him because of his extraordinary kindness and generosity. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 24, 1998 at the age of 94 at his granddaughter's home. He is survived by grandchildren, Patricia Dent, Dianne Faulstich, Everett Murphy, and Dennis Kohl; step-children, Gilbert Palmer, Carol Palmer and Ruby Stratton. Service will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Noel Evangelical Methodist Church, 166 E. Roger Rd., with Rev. Dr. Gunnar A. Gundersen officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. HENDRICKS, Bill, passed away Monday, January 26, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Tucson; two sons, Craig Hendricks (Dawn) of West Valley, UT and James Hendricks (Linda) of Tucson; one daughter, Kristi Hamblen (Robert) of Tucson; his father, Donald Hendricks (Midge) of Iowa; one sister, Mary Pauline Goehring of MO; four grandchildren, Daniel Hendricks, Scott, Leann and Jeffrey Hamblen. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one child, Patrick who passed away in 1960; his mother, Elizabeth who died in 1960; and one brother, Ted who died in 1962. Mr. Hendricks was a loving and caring father, brother, grandfather and uncle, and his caring extended to reach many lives through his teaching career. His teaching career included 29 years with the Sunnyside School District and many years spent teaching at Pima College. Mr. Hendricks was also a member of V.F.W. Post number 10015 of Tucson. He was a member of the Sabbar Shrine, Tucson and active in Toastmasters Clubs in Tucson. He was a graduate of the University of Idaho and retired as a Major from the U.S. Air Force.
