(Carmen) Meyers of Gainsville, Florida and nephew, Allen Meyers, New York and niece, Yvonne Meyers of Puerto Rico. Mr. Meyers was a Senior Accounting Executive for Tucson Newspapers, employed with them for 30 years. He was also a World War II U.S. Air Force Veteran. Thomas I. Woodworth, born May 22, 1962 in Hawthorne, CA, died May 12, 1998 in San Francisco, CA. Son to Roger Woodworth of Tucson and the late, Majel Woodworth. He graduated from Rincon High School in 1980 and from the University of Arizona in 1985. Thomas loved traveling all over the U.S.A. and went to Europe and was always ready for adventure. He had many friends in Tucson, Phoenix and in San Francisco. He is also survived by his stepmother, Helen Swengel of Tucson; brother, David (Monica) of Dover, NH; step siblings, Maria A. DUDAS, Charlotte, 76, of Tucson, returned to her creator on Wednesday, May 13, 1998. She is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Laszlo; her children, Laszlo (Cassandra), Frank (Rigel), Csilla; three grandchildren, Tristan, Tara and Shannon; great-grandchild, Lucas; and many relatives in Hungary. She was born Sara Hansaghy in Kaposvar, Hungary in 1921. She worked as an executive secretary for Ford Motor Co in Budapest. She fled Hungary in 1945 and lived for six years in a displaced persons camp in Germany before coming to the US in 1951. She has been a Tucson resident since 1968. She was active in the Southern Arizona Hungarian American Club and managed a mineral business until her death. Her kind spirit, practicality and sense of humor will be missed by her family and her friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1946 E. Lee St, on Wednesday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m.

CASE, Harry Edgar, 82, of Tucson, died May 15, 1998 at Tucson Medical Center. Harry is survived by his loving wife and best friend of nearly 58 years, Betty (Elizabeth); son and daughter-in-law, Robert H. and Mary Case of Bloomington, Indiana; daughter, Jane Case Belt of Columbus, Ohio; granddaughter, Hillary A. Case and her fiance, Kevin Clendenien of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandson, Bryan D. Belt and wife, Caren of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Frances Neal (Glenn) of St. Marys, Ohio and loving nieces and nephews. He will best be remembered by his devotion and love for his family and spirit and desire to better any community or organization in which he was involved. His work career was dominated by his strong commitment to public service through the newspaper business. His full-time newspaper career started in 1935 at the Mansfield Ohio News Journal. He left there in 1948 to become associated with Ray Barnes as business manager of the Elwood, Indiana Call-Leader. He moved to Kenton, Ohio in 1953 as manager of the Daily Democrat when the Barnes organization purchased that paper, which later became the Kenton Times. While managing the Times, he also served as business manager for two other Barnes newspapers; the Upper Sandusky, Ohio Daily Chief Union and the Morgan County Herald in McConnellsville, Ohio. Counting street sales and paper routes as a boy, Case has been in newspaper work for 74 of his 82 years. After his retirement from the Kenton Times in 1978, he continued to serve as a consultant to the Morgan County Herald until his death. During his career his contributions included: Director/President of Kenton Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the former San Antonio Hospital in Kenton, Board Member of the Hardin Memorial Golf Course, member of Rotary Club and life member of the BPO Elks. He was president in 1972 of the Advertising Executive Association of Ohio Daily Newspapers and was made an honorary life member. He served in 1973 as the President of the Ohio Newspaper Advertising Executives and was a life member of that organization. In 1975, he was presented the Kenton Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year award as 'Setting an example in good citizenship for others.' His leadership to obtain the Hardin County Airport was also recognized at that time. In 1978 he was recognized for special service by the Ad Executives Association of Ohio Daily Newspapers and the Ohio Newspaper Association. He received the Length of Service Award from the Ohio Newspaper Association for 43 years with the Barnes Newspapers. In Sun City Vistoso he was Past President of the Men's Golf League and Vice President of the Low Vision Support Group. Bernard Blake Dwyer, M.D., age 86, of Tucson, died May 14, 1998. He is survived by wife, Rozanne; brother, Robert E.; sons, Robert B. (Bernadette) and Thomas; daughters, Jean (Abbott) Harle, Joanne Larsen, Kathleen Griffin and Dorothy (Hugh) Williams, by stepsons, Jeffrey (Marianne) Davis, Gary (Ann) Davis and Craig (Jan) Davis and by 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of the University of Iowa School of Medicine, Class of 1936, he practiced in Preston and Clinton, Iowa until 1961. After moving to Tucson, he practiced in Casas Adobes until his retirement in 1980.
