Survived by wife, Glenna; daughter, Debbie Mason; sons, Mark (Lisa) and Paul; grandchildren, Justin (Annette), Brand, Corrine and Kyle; great-grandson, Jordan. Private family services will be held. SPARKS, Mary B., 79, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on May 19th, 1998. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert W. Sparks. She is survived by her daughters, Susan J. (Hal) Flynt of Knoxville, Tenn., and Linda (Harry) Sheraw of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Chris (Michelle) and Meredyth Steitz; her brother, Hubert Brown of Leesburg, GA; sister, Margaret Geeslin of Balnbridge, GA and sister, Willie Cox of Cuthbert, GA. There will be a private memorial service. The family wishes to thank the Hospice Unite at St. Joseph's Hospital for their wonderful care of Mary and in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Arizona Lung Association.

STEFANIK, Josephine A., 82, passed away May 18, 1998 in Buffalo, New York. Survived by husband, Michael Stefanik; one son, Dennis (Jeannette) Stefanik; two daughters, Sally Mounier and Kathleen (Roger) Early; one brother, Jack Hohl; two sisters, Catherine Stanton and Eva Stanton; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Josephine will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL on Friday. Graveside Services will be at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 1998. TOLLISON, Timothy 'Tim' 29, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on May 13, 1998 at Odessa Medical Center Hospital following an auto accident on May 11th. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23rd at the Crossroad Fellowship Church at 5953 South Herpa Drive in Tucson with the Reverend Robert Beniger officiating. Richard W. Box Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Timothy was born on July 17, 1968 in Waukegan, Illinois. He was married to Wendy Louise Meaney on June 27, 1995 in Tucson, Arizona. He had lived in Tucson for the past 14 years. He was automotive transmission technician. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Tollison of Tucson; mother, Judith Ann Burleson of La Belle, Florida; father, Billy Wayne Tollison of Tucson; mother-in-law, Lela Meaney of Tucson; father-in-law, Steve E. Meaney of Denver, Colorado; four daughters, Ashley Ann Tollison, Samantha Louise Heirling, Kodie Marie Heirling and Julie Ann Tollison, all of Tucson; one son, Michael Troy Meaney of Tucson; two sisters, Tina Marie Petrowskiof Buchanan, Georgia and Melissa Dawn Altman of La Belle, Florida; one brother, Jamie Lee Tollison of Sebring, Florida.

Eduardo Varela, 38, of Tucson, died May 17, 1998. Chief Steward at Westward Look Resort. Son of Frank and Armida Varela of Tucson; fiance of Sylvia O. Araujo; father of Eduardo and Melinda Varela, both of Tucson; brother of Frank, Aurora, Graciela, Hector Varela and Yolanda Sadler. Also many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all of Tucson. Funeral Mass, Friday, May 22, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Mission Church with burial to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. WESSON, Norval L., born November 11, 1911 in Cecil, Arkansas and passed away Friday, May 15, 1998. Norval is survived by his wife, Alta of 64 years; brother, Earl who are both in Devon Gables Nursing Home and younger brother, James; several nieces and nephews and cousins scattered about the country. Mr. Wesson came to Tucson August, 1930 and went to work at the Pioneer Hotel. First as an elevator operator, then as a bellman for a few years. Finally several years later as the Bell Captain until his retirement after 43 years of service.Hunting and fishing were his recreation. Graveside Services, 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 1998 at South Lawn Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Avenue.

ANGULO, Daniel, born August 2, 1996, passed away May 18, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Aaron and Francisca; brothers, Aaron Jr. and Joshua. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at El Renuevo Church, 1228 S. Fourth Avenue on Friday, May 22, 1998. CRUSON, Maria M. - In loving memory of Maria M. Cruson, age 82, of Tucson, passed away May 20, 1998. She is survived by three daughters, Gloria (Robert) Mjoen of Tucson, Lillian Cruson of OR. and Lavonne (Malcolm) Latham of Tucson; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. EDGAR, Bertha Louise, 93, of Phoenix, a longtime resident of Tucson, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 1998. Mrs. Edgar was born in Steubenville, Ohio. She moved to Tucson in the early 1940s due to medical advice for her daughter's health. She was a domestic engineer who loved her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She was very active in her church, Coronado Baptist, serving as a Sunday school teacher, daily vacation Bible school teacher, in the Women's Missionary Society and most importantly as a prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 1974. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Lou Bolton of Phoenix, Carol Edgar-Rutt of Nigeria; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. We wish to honor our beloved mother and grandmother in a memorial service on Saturday, May 30, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at Coronado Baptist Church, 2609 North Park Avenue, Tucson, Arizona 85719. Memorial contributions may be made to SIM-USA, P.O. Box 7900, Charlotte, NC 28241-7900 for Carol Edgar-Rutt Ministry Account.

Joseph T. Elefante, Jr., Age 49, of Tucson, died May 18, 1998.A native of Brooklyn, New York, raised on Long Island, N.Y. he moved to Tucson 25 years ago. He and his wife Suzanne have been owners since 1972 of Mama Louisa's Italian Restaurant in Tucson. Many of his accomplishments included, President of the Arizona Restaurant Association Southern Chapter, he was involved with the industry's trade show over the past four years as both Chairman and Co-Chairman, he will be inducted into the Arizona Restaurant Association Hall of Fame, Past Governor of the Arizona District of Optimist International and through his work with Optimist International helped thousands of children, and was a former member of Up With People. Survivors include his wife Suzanne; daughter, Stacy; sons, Joseph and Michael; parents, Joseph, Sr., and Genevieve; sister, Patricia (Thomas) Lombardi; mother-in-law, Margaret Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, David and Theresa Mowery and many other close relatives. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 23, 1998, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church with a Rosary recited at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at All Faiths Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to Arizona Restaurant Association Southern Chapter Scholarship Fund, 300 W. St. Mary's Rd., Tucson, AZ 85701 or Optimist International Foundation, 4494 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108. ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, handled the arrangements.

Lynn Paul Geuder, Went to be with the Lord on May 19, 1998. Lynn was born in Olean, NY July 24, 1938. He moved to Tucson in June 1955. Predeceased by father, William Paul Geuder; sister, Dolores J. Archuleta and niece, Jennifer Ann Geuder. Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Dolores and daughters, Karen (Brent) Schmidt and Paula Lynn Badart; grandchildren, Erin and Brentie. Further survived by mother, Josephine Geuder; brothers, Bruce (Gloria) Geuder and Ron (Sandi) Geuder; sisters, Sandy (Gary) Hartman of TX and Cindy (Carl) Wagner of AR; sister-in-law, Margaret Meltzer and brothers-in-law, Manny (Wanda) Leyva and Archie (Donna) Archuleta, plus many nieces and nephews. Lynn was a good friend of Bill W. He was treasurer of Tucson International Modelplex Park Assn. (T.I.M.P.A.) a family-oriented park. Lynn retired after 36 years from Hughes Aircraft in November of 1994. Lynn was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and friend. He was a very caring and loving person who was willing to extend his hand without reservation to anyone who needed it. Viewing will be on Saturday, May the 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at South Lawn Mortuary, 5401 S. Park Ave. A final viewing will be held prior to church services on Sunday, May the 24th at Peace Lutheran Church, 2400 W. Drexel Road from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. with services at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at South Lawn Cemetery.

Marian G. Ide, Longtime Tucson Rosarian, 80, died in Tucson, Arizona on May 20, 1998 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband, Herbert in 1988, she is survived by five children: Carolyn Aleksic White of Indianapolis, Janet Kintner of San Diego, Paul Ide of Tucson, Marilyn Robinson of Tucson and Linda Ide of Durham, North Carolina. She had eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Surviving brothers include Albert Hetzler and Wilbur Hetzler of Iowa and Herbert Hetzler of Florida. Born on October 14, 1917, she was the only daughter of seven children born to Eugene Hetzler and Gertrude Raub of Muscatine, Iowa. Marian attended Iowa State Teachers College and taught for six years in Muscatine County schools. She married Herbert A. Ide on July 3, 1941, in Denver, Colorado. After living 12 years in Ohio, they moved to Tucson in 1956 where Marian was active for many years in Cooperative Extension Sagebrush Homemakers and the Rose Society of Tucson. She served as president of both organizations and was a Life Consulting Rosarian for almost 15 years. A Charter member of Christ Presbyterian Church, she served as deacon, elder and president of the women's association. She was recently recognized for her lifetime contribution to that group. She and her husband Herbert traveled widely including trips to Europe, Africa, Australia, China, South America and Antarctica. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway on Friday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or American Cancer Society.

INGRAM, Frances Chick, died at home in Tucson on May 19, 1998. Born in Limerink, Maine in 1905, she was reared in Westbrook, Maine, adjacent to Portland. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Charles Owen Ingram; a step-son, Mark Ingram (Pier), and three sisters: Mrs. Frank Wellcombe of Williamstown, Mass., Mrs. Carrie Lott, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Elinor Ross of Concord, Mass. One brother remains, Willard Chick of Westbrook. A host of nieces and nephews also mourn their aunt's passing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Hyde, also of Maine, with whom she moved to Tucson in 1949. Eight other brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Frances graduated from Westbrook High School as valedictorian of her class, and for many years she was employed by the S.D. Warren Company, Westbrook, as office manager. The company employed some five thousand persons and made fine paper for the Harvard Press, Oxford Press, the Heritage Club, and other leading publishers.
She served for 16 years as volunteer secretary for St. Andrew's Parish where she was also a member of the altar guild and the leading flower arranger. An avid gardener, Frances collected wild flower seeds on visits to all 50 states.
Known for her Yankee humor and industry, she was a charter member of the Harold Bell Wright Neighborhood Association and a volunteer for some years in the Tucson office of the American Cancer Society.
A requiem mass will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 545 S. Fifth Ave. (corner of S. 5th Ave. and 16th St.) Saturday morning, May 23rd at 10:30, the Rev. Robert B. Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Bach Society or the American Cancer Society.

ITTELSON, Martha, 80, of Tucson, died May 18, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Bill; her son, Lane (Ellen) and granddaughter, Margaret. She grew up in Santa Fe, NM and studied art at the University of New Mexico. Second only to her family, art and painting have been the joy and the passion of her life. She lent beauty to all who knew her. There will be a gathering of friends at the Ittelson residence, 4125 E. Roberts Place, Saturday, May 23, 1998 from 4:00 to 6:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements by family owned ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES.

JASINOWSKI, Christine M., 76, died May 21, 1998. Survived by her husband, Chester J.; daughters, Bonnie (Ralph) Kahl and Peggy 'Bennie' (Neil) McGarry; grandsons, Silas and Leith Kahl; brother, William Tippit and sister, Eunice Ewing. Friends may call 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 1998 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. where funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 1998. Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 1998 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

Nellie D. Johnson, 87, of Tucson, passed away May 20, 1998. Survived by sisters, Delia D. Lopez and Estella D. Lopez; sister-in-law, Mercy Diaz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May23, 1998 from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. at St.Joseph's Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycroft with Rosary recited at 12:30 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday, May 23, 1998, 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. LOH, Yuen Ching, 85, of Tucson, died May 18, 1998. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Ying Lau Loh. Survived by daughter, Mei Lien (Jack) Ho of Daly City, CA; sons, John (Pat) Loh of Tucson, Kom F. (Sukie) Loh of Seoul, Korea, Leonard (Loretta) Loh of Missouri City, TX, James (Grace) Loh of Tucson; brothers, Kin-Bak Lee of San Diego, CA and Kin-Lup Lee of Sugarland, TX; sister, Emma Fung of Tucson; grandchildren, Jessie, Bryan, Christina, Paul, Rebecca, Zaneta, Jeffrey, Vincent and Stefanie and many nieces and nephews. Service, Sunday, 3:00 p.m., May 24th, EVERGREEN MORTUARY with Pastors David Chan and Fisher Peng officiating. Interment to follow Evergreen Cemetery. RENDON, Josefina, 70, of Tucson, passed away May 20, 1998. Survived by Esther Padilla (Benjamin), Norma Rendon, Margie Rendon and Josie Rendon; sons, Benjamin (Esther) and Francisco Rendon (Becky); sisters, Maria de los Angeles and Isabel from Hermosillo. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 1998 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday, 9:00 a.m., Santa Cruz Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Today we lose a very special part of ourselves. We can only hope to find the love, understanding, care and concern that she has showed us. She will forever live in our hearts.
