Michael Stephen Acosta
Went to Heaven on June 7, 1998 at the young age of 32. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. A native of Tucson, he graduated from Rincon High School, was an Alumnus of the University of Arizona and a longtime dedicated employee of Costco. He is survived by his loving mother, LaVerne Acosta of Tucson; grandmother, Sue Goins of Tucson; father, Marin Acosta of Tucson; grandfather, Ray Hernandez of Tucson; brother, Mark (Ellen) Acosta of Tucson; sister, Melinda Sue (David) Chester of Phoenix, Arizona; nephew and godson, Sean Michael Chester of Phoenix, Arizona. Julian G. Diaz, 87 years old, died June 2, 1998. Was born on June 23, 1910 in Tucson. FAIRMAN, Jack Charles, 87, went to be with the Lord and his loved ones June 8. Survived by his wife Jeanne of 61 years marriage. Son Jack Jr. (Christa), Yuma; daughter Linda Conant; former daughter-in-law, Virginia, Iowa; grandchildren Charles and Sara, Yuma; Lynn Evans, Seattle; Dr. Jeffery Fairman, Aida, CA; Beth (Lance) Iowa; great-grandchildren Kelton Lee, Amanda and Kent; several nieces & nephews. Daughter Jill Nedra (17) preceded him to heaven. Jack's excitement of life and witty spirit will be greatly missed by many.

GREEN, Daniel F., 85, of Tucson, passed away June 8, 1998. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois, November 10, 1912 and was a policeman there until moving to Tucson in 1945. He was a member of the local Carpenter Union in Tucson since 1947 and was a member of the Tucson Elks Lodge No. 385. Survived by his wife, Violet D. Green; children, Mary A. Conlisk, Cathy K.J. McCORMICK, Edward Jerome, age 86, born October 8, 1911 in Stonnington., IL, passed away June 6, 1998. He is survived by his wife Beatrice; sons Jerry, (of Tucson, AZ and his son Michael), Michael (of Rockford, IL. and his children Michael, Kelly, Katie and Megan), daughter Jody Capik (of Ft. Walton Beach, FL., and her children Sean, Jesse and Michelle), stepdaughters Denise Lunsford, Darlene Ripol, and Doreen Diedrich. Five step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by one brother, Father Merald, and three sisters, Mildred, Helen, and Josephine. He is further survived by his brother Robert (of Phoenix, AZ.), his sisters Catherine Bell (of WI.), Dorothy Newman (of Decatur, IL.) and Isabelle Perry (of Decatur, IL.) He spent most of his life working for Allied Signal. He was a very loving, devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend. Ed was a very devout Catholic all his life. He never had an unkind word about anyone and remembered everyone he ever met. Memorial services will be held at All Faiths Memorial Park at 10:00 AM on Thursday June 11, 1998. Alice L. Root, 66 of Tucson, Arizona, died at her residence on Monday June 8, 1998. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born on November 8, 1931 in East Oolitic, Indiana. She was the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Henderson) Browning. She was a homemaker for most of her life and a member of the Mountain View Church of the Nazarene. His wives Edith M. (Perkins) McKerracher and Bernie (Pearsall) McKerracher died long ago. Daniel was born in Wabash Ontario Canada to John and Sarah (Burgess) McKerracher. MULLEN, Joseph P., of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away on May 31, 1998 in Tucson. He was born in Mount Pleasant, PA, where he received his elementary and high school education. He was a veteran of the 25th Division, fighting in the Korean Conflict. Joseph graduated from St. Vincent College, Latrobe, PA, he also attended MIT for advanced math classes. He retired from ATT/Bell labs, NJ in November of 89. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence Mullen and two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by one sister, Anna Jean (David) Balak; four nephews, William, Paul and Mark Balak of Tucson and David Balak of Grand Junction, CO and cousins in PA.
