HUBERT, Marjory, was born in Cummings, Kansas to Earl and Dorothy Eads. She had lived in Atchison and Oakley, KS; Tacoma, WA and Colorado Springs, CO, the last for 20 years. In 1993 she moved to Tucson, AZ. She had been a Private Duty L.P.N. throughout much of her life. She was married to Otis Schaffer in 1945. Her second marriage was to Duane Hubert in 1968, who preceded her in death in 1981. Marjory was also preceded in death by her brothers Claude Eads (1986) and Dale Eads (1993). Marjory is survived by her four sons, Richard Schaffer and Ernie Schaffer, both of Liberal, KS, Terrell Schaffer of Dallas, TX, Todd Schaffer of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Karla Schaffer; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and her companion of six years, Ron Yorty. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tucson, and several social lodges: VFW Auxiliary in Colorado Springs; Eagles Auxiliary and Elks Lodge #2532 in Tucson. A Memorial Service was held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church Memorial Garden on June 15, 1998. Cremation is planned and a graveside service will be held in Cummings, KS on Monday, June 22, 1998. MERSEREAU, Lilian J., 76, died June13, 1998. Lilian was preceded in deathby her husband of 27 years, Robert T. Mersereau. She is survived by her son, Michael Mersereau and daughter-in-law, Ellen of Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Yvonne Mersereau of Tempe, Andrea Mersereau of Knoxville, Tenn. and Michele Baun and son-in-law, William of Houston, Texas; one brother, Lester Hedemann; four sisters, Cordelia Obermueller, Celia Kershaw, Jean Zessin and Eloise Roskavich; three grandchildren, Kaleb Baun, Chandra Baun and Danielle Mersereau and many loving brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Lilian was born and raised in Sylvan Grove, Kansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hedemann. In 1943, she received her RN degree from the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. She immediately joined the Army Nurses Corp and was one of the first 13 nurses on Okinawa. She brought comfort to many US soldiers not only through her healing hands, but her beautiful singing voice which she shared with troops in the field. As 'Sweet Lorraine' on the Armed Forces Radio, she was the USA's answer to Tokyo Rose. Upon her marriage to Robert, an Air Force pilot, in 1948, Lilian left active service to raise her growing family. Lilian later returned to nursing and after moving to Tucson in 1967, she brought her special gifts to St. Joseph's Hospital, where she worked in the ICU until her retirement in 1985. A talented artist, poet, and singer, her greatest gifts were the joyful witnessing of her faith, her unbounded generosity and the unconditional love which she shared with all who knew her. A celebration of the joy and victory of Lilian's lifewill be held at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 South Kolb Road, Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Craig Michaelson officiating. NOBLE, Barbara 'Bobbie' Jean (nee Riddle), was born on September 28, 1937 in Douglas, AZ, and passed away in Tucson on June 14, 1998. She is survived by four sons, Brett (Sandy), Jimmy (Kelly), Gregg (Deb) of Tucson, and Shawn (Barb) of Colorado Springs, CO. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, twins Corey and Joshua, Jesse, Kristin and Cameron. Also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Dave Fisher; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as numerous friends and clients.
In 1997, she received her broker's license and opened her own business, 'Noble Country Realty', specializing in suburban and Avra Valley properties. She loved her work and expressed it by her attention to detail and by her faithfulness to her clients.
Bobbie's early years were spent on her maternal grandparent's ranch at Animas, New Mexico. Later, she rejoined her own family and attended school in Tucson. While she lived out-of-state occasionally, she always returned 'home' to Tucson, to work in real estate, on and off, for more than 30 years.
Bobbie will be remembered for her personal spunk, her love of 'having fun', her love for her four 'boys' and her grandchildren, and her family and friends.
She will be most sadly missed by all of us, but, we are confident that she joins brother, Frank Moore, mother, Zell Shaw; and grandson, Jared, to begin a shining new chapter in the cycle of Eternal Life.
At Bobbie's request, donations to the Cancer Fund are preferred. She also invites her friends to join the family, at her home, for a brief memorial service and 'party' to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 6:30 p.m.

DOWNING, Alvena V., born in Battlecreek, MI, 1911. A Tucson resident since, 1946. The Angels came for Alvena and she joined her beloved husband, Emmett on June 17th, 1998. DUDAS, Laszlo, 79, of Tucson, returned to his Creator on Thursday, May 28, 1998. His children, Laszlo (Cassandra), Frank (Rigel) and Csilla; three grandchildren, Tristan, Tara and Shannon and one great-grandchild, Lucas and many relatives, survive him here and in Hungary. His wife preceded him in death by 15 days. Born in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, he spent the first 26 years of his life there finishing at the Kossuth Lajos University in Debrecen. He left his homeland in 1945 due to communist occupation. The next seven years was spent in displaced persons camps in Germany, where he married his beloved wife, Sara. They came to the US in 1951, where he began his professional career as a mineralogist several years later with the Anaconda Company. He brought his family here in 1968 when the company moved to Tucson. Since 1972, he was a mineralogical consultant to many mining companies. He was recognized internationally in his field and was a member of several professional organizations. Until his death, he was involved with the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society. He and his wife owned and managed a small mail order business since 1956. He will be remembered for his loyalty and love toward his family and many friends.
Marian Sarah Trotter was born in Hopkins, Minn. on February 11, 1908 and died on June 15, 1998 at 90 years. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Dimond; son-in-law, John Dimond of Tucson; daughter-in-law, Dona Lee Trotter of IL; sister, Patricia Timmers of IA and sister-in-law, Virginia Empenger of CA. She has 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sarah) Dimond of GA, Jodee (Rodger) Barnes of FL, Jennifer (Michael) Grady of AZ, Melinda (Oscar) Montano, Katherine (Dean) Kitchens, Scott Trotter, all of CA, Suzanne (Henry) Edmonds of MO, Charles (Lynn) Trotter, Anne (Mark) Hinkamp, Scott (Jennifer) Trotter, all of IL and Thomas (Amy) Trotter of TX. She also has 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marian graduated from Hopkins High School. She married and moved to Chicago in 1926 where she attended Gunn School of Music and was an accomplished pianist. She then worked for the U.S. Civil Service Commission as an examiner for 22 years. In 1949 she married her second husband, Hugh Trotter. They moved West in 1959. While in California Marian became a realtor. When Hugh died in 1976 she retired and lived near her daughter. She has been a member of Christ Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Marian was a very gracious lady and her greatest legacy was teaching us all how to live. WARNER, Ronald Eugene, 'Buck Shot' 60, died June 15, 1998. She was active in art circles in Maryland and the Desert Artisans' Gallery, Tucson and in Tubac. FOOR, Clayton M., loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, stepson and friend. Former General Counsel of the Wayne County Road Commission and former Special Assistant Attorney General of the State of Michigan, died June 15, 1998 at Denver International Airport, while traveling from Tucson to Detroit. He was 76 years old. He attended Cooley High School in Detroit, where he played football and was All City and All State guard. He attended the University of Michigan, where he played varsity football and was member of Sigma Chi. He entered the Army during World War II and was a First Lieutenant in the Military Police. Mr. Foor was an expert marksman. He commanded troops transporting and guarding prisoners of war. In the military he married Rose Ann McAnulty, a Second Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp. After the war, he graduated from Wayne state University Law School and worked as a lawyer for the Legal Aid Bureau. He joined the Wayne County Road Commission in 1953 and became General Counsel in 1979. Mr. Foor was a trial lawyer, an expert in condemnation law, and in transportation law. He was a member of the National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board, the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity, the American Legion, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, Zion Lodge No. 1 as a 33rd Degree Mason and Detroit Commandery No. 1 as a Knight Templar. Mr. Foor's son Clayton predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann; by his stepmother, Thelma Foor; by his four other sons, Robin (Que), Michael (JoAnn), Matthew and Kevin; by Clayton's son, Clayton; five other grandchildren, Elizabeth Rumohr (James), Briana Bonar, Katherine Foor, Anne Foor and Jonathan Foor; and one great-grandchild, Alexa Rumohr. John James 'Jack' Hattstaedt, 66, of Tucson, died on June 15, 1998. Born in Chicago, IL, Jack was first introduced to Arizona as a young boy when he attended The Little Outfit School in Patagonia. He has been a resident of this city since 1961. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Jack was a teacher and an active participant in United Way, the Rogers Elementary School PTA, and the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Tucson. He was also a member of the Southern Arizona Hiking Club and the Tucson Jazz Society. Jack was married to the late Mary Jane O'Hara Hattstaedt. Survivors include son, James Matthew, Tucson and sister, Jane Hattstaedt Waters, Deering, NH. Trotter, died in 1984. An extraordinary woman who filled our world with faith, fun, flowers, advice, wit and love.
