NIEBUHR, Marcella D., 80, of Bethel Island, CA, was called home by her Heavenly Father June 25, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred; two sons, Dennis (Judy) and Gerald (Lee); one sister, Liesetta Kolterman; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Northside Christian Church in Tucson, AZ for many years and a memorial service will be held there at a later date. WEATHERLY, Theresa V., 68, passed into the loving arms of Jesus, June 29, 1998. Born in Detroit, MI. 'Loving Mom, Grams and Friend.' Survived by children, Fran Scholtz, Thomas Weatherly, Maria (Thomas) Lucas, Gerri (John) Saczko, Joseph (Mary) Weatherly, Patrick Weatherly and Molly Weatherly; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides Theresa's greatest accomplishment of raising seven children, she greeted many people with a smile and an offer of a rosary, carrying the message of Christ. Theresa was an active participant of the Legend of Mary Rosary Group and other prayer groups. CHRISTIE, Armenette A., 80, died on June 29, 1998. She was born in Akron, Ohio and moved from Bath, New York to Tucson in 1969. A Government Document Specialist at the University of Arizona library, she retired in 1984. She is survived by her daughters, Inga and Mary Lu. The family is holding a private ceremony.
Michael Allen 'Mikey' Mack, 16, of Tucson, died suddenly June 0, 1998. Mikey was a student at Flowing Wells High School. He loved school and all of the many things that are part of it; such as playing golf, volleyball and soccer, having fun with his friends and his wonderful teachers. Mikey had a smile that would light up a room, a zest for life. He was kind and loyal to his friends. He is survived by his parents, Donald G. and Elizabeth J. Mack; brothers, Nathan P. Mack, Daniel L. Mack, all of Tucson; maternal grandfather, Richard Hostetter of York, PA; paternal grandmother, Betty Mack of Tucson, several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends who are as family. Harry W. 'Pancho' Morse, Lt. Col. USA Ret., 77, died July 1, 1998. Born in Douglas, Cochise County, Arizona July 2, 1920 of a pioneer Arizona family. He was an alumnus of the University of Arizona holding a BS in Engineering, LLB and a MA. He served over 28 years in the US Army seeing combat in Europe and the China, Burma, India Theaters during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. During peace time he was assigned service with various foreign government and inter-service exchange programs with USAF and USN. Upon leaving active duty, he worked as an engineer in the defense industry with HRB-Singer, the Illinois Institute of Technology and Bell & Howell. He was one of eight original founders of the Pima Air and Space Museum and active in Disabled American Veterans Issues, the Veteran of Foreign Wars and the China, Burma, India Association. Preceded in death by his mother, Helena F. Morse; his father, Harry E. Morse; his brother, Daniel Morse and his oldest son, Harry M. Morse. Survived by his beloved wife, Joyce A. Morse; brother, David (Emma Potter) Morse of Cottonwood; daughters, Kathryn Rakness of California and Doreen (John) Munoz of Tucson; sons, Derek (Jean) Morse of Nevada, Patrick (Kit Dickey) Morse of Tucson, Michael (Diane) Hicks of Tucson and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. GREEN, Bobby Wayne, born Oct 28, 1957, beloved husband of Pamela Lynn Green and devoted father of Dee Ann Green Cassidy, died suddenly on July 1, 1998. He is survived by his mother and father, Mavis and Joe Green; and sisters Gwen Partee and Linda Green of Elgin, OK; and sister, Patty Martin of Ft. Worth, TX. Mother and father-in-law, Marti and Dan Way; brother-in-law, Scott Way; and sister-in-law, Deanna Way Perkins, all of Tucson. Bobby retired from the US Air Force on August 1, 1997, as a Senior Master Sergeant with 21 years 6 months of service. During his career he was deployed worldwide on numerous assignments, including Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He ended his rewarding career as the paralegal manager in Headquarters 19TH Air Force, RAFB, TX. He began a new career with the United States District Court as a supervisor of PreTrial Services in January, 1998. Bobby touched all who knew him. He was the best husband, father, son, brother and friend. He taught us to live life fully with his generous spirit and his love. Tears will never compensate for the loss of his presence in our lives. 'The Fiddle is Quiet Music Lives Forever'
Wilbur James 'Cap' Lehman, 83, of Tucson, AZ. He passed away June 27, 1998. He was born October 15, 1914 in Earleville, Illinois. He was the son of the late Charles and Grace Donaugh Lehman of Earleville, IL. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lehman of Tucson. Preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Clifford, John, Robert and the late Joseph Lehman; sister, Mary Jane Strack. Other survivors: brothers, Ralph and his wife Esther Lehman and Rudolph Valentino Lehman; stepdaughter, Patricia and her husband Henry Schlemmel; step grandchildren, Kathleen and her husband John Aubele, Penny and her husband Robert Ott, Terry and his wife Lynette Shaw; great-step grandchildren, John and Matthew Aubele, Tyler Ott, Marianne Shaw, Christian and his wife Bonnie Shaw; adopted children, Donald R. Ryan Lehman and Priscilla A. Ryan Lehman and their children and grandchildren.
Cap went to high school in Waterman, IL and in Genoa, IL., where he graduated in 1933. he worked on farms, before going into the service in June of 1943, he was wounded on Anzio Beach, Italy in June 1944. He was discharged on disability May 25, 1945 and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was a general contractor in the Dekalb, IL area for 30 years. He was a self taught fiddler and his music is in the library of congress archives in Washington, DC. In the 1940's, he fiddled for square dances playing with a well known caller known as Don McClay of Elgin, IL. Mr. McClay was known as the best in Northern IL. Healso played for the Hired Hands Band in Sycamore, IL. Locally, he played with the Dean Armstrong Band. He married Mildred Sessier of Genoa, IL in 1936. She passed away in Tucson in 1985. He has been a resident of Arizona since 1972. He married Mary Bokker of Byron, IL in 1986. His memberships include the Southern Arizona Old Time Fiddlers Assoc, Musician Local 572, Dekalb, IL, Bricklayer Allied Craftsman Local 27, Elgin, IL, American Legion Burns Chapter 36, Tucson, AZ, life member of DAV Cactus Chapter, Tucson, AZ, life member of Military Order Purple Heartof AZ, Polish American Club.
A Memorial Service will be held in September. The time and date will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd and Swan. Interment was private.

Kathy Ann Malisewski, 41, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 1, 1998. Preceded in death by her brother, Craig Savastano. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Joseph; and daughters, Jessica, Nicole and Emily. Daughter of Evelyn Short and Vincent Savastano. Stepdaughter of Bob Short. Loving sister of Chris (Kim) Savastano. Daughter in-law of Dorothy Malisewski; sister-in-law of Cathy DeLa'O, David and Joanne Del Castillo, of CA, Steve and Kathleen Malisewski of TX, Michael and Patty Malisewski, Thomas and Suzi Malisewski, and Rob and Beth Reniewicki of AZ. Kathy graduated from Sahuaro H.S. in 1974 and received a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona in 1978. She participated in her daughter's schools (Marshall and Gale Elementary) with the PTA, and in a variety of other roles. Kathy was very active in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she served as an Eucharistic Minister, Sunday preschool teacher, and counseling engaged couples preparing for marriage. Service will be held Sunday and Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. McHOLLAND, Enid L., 92, died July 2, 1998 in Tucson. She is preceded in death by husband H. Thad McHolland and son, Thomas McHolland.
