KENNEDY, Ruby Mae, 68, passed into eternal life due to complications of lung cancer on July 27, 1998. Born on January 23, 1930 in Shamrock, OK, she lived in several states before settling in the Tucson and Safford areas with her family. She enjoyed working as a nurses aide for several years, caring for the elderly and terminally ill. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sharon Griego, Sissie Hartland, Gary McBee, Billy McBee, Robert Brown, Anita Jacobs; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. LYONS, Laura Alice, was born Laura Alice Goodwin, July 3, 1900 in Richmond, IN and went to be with the Lord on July 28, 1998. She lived in Richmond until her marriage to Arthur Raymond Lyons of Connersville, IN, where they lived until moving to Tucson in 1944. She was the daughter of Harrison and Jessie Goodwin. Laura graduated from Earlam College and taught in the public schools in Indiana and Ohio. Survivors include her son, David A. Lyons of Tucson; two grandchildren, Howard Allen Lyons of Chandler, AZ and Donna Lyons Jones of Phoenix, AZ; three great-grandchildren, Kevin, Katie and Heidi Lyons and a niece, Jane Tiemeyer of Ohio.
