Charles Kenneth Igou, born March 11, 1980 in Panorama City, CA, died July 28, 1998 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 18. Survived by loving parents, Charles Eugene and Janice Dorothy; devoted sister, Brittany Lynn and loving girlfriend, Amber Neubert, all of Tucson; grandparents, Doyne Viger, Tucson; Charles Igou, Livingston, CA and Kenneth and Dorothy Hitchen, Weed, CA; great-grandmother, Marie Beesley, Rantoul, IL; loving aunts and uncles, Linda Ruff, Alan (Jeanne) Hitchen, Dennis (Jenetta) Igou, Tasha (Ben) Texeira, Tamara (Jim) Cushing and many other relatives. SAX, Judith Aach, 92, died July 21, 1998 of heart failure. HAROLD C. SAYERS, of Tucson, AZ, age 54, devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend began life in his eternal home July 29th, 1998. He was born December 4, 1943 in Jackson, MI, the son of Carl and Bertha Sayers. Harold and Bonnie (Boobyer) enjoyed 34 1/2 wonderful years of marriage and have three daughters, Mrs. David (Brenda) Stone, Mrs. John (Pamela) Van Horn, and Mrs. Michael (Jeanne) Fisher; and five grandchildren, Casie, Joshua, Jacob, Cody, and Collin. Other family members include three sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Shirley) Bildner of Spring Arbor, MI, Janet VanOrder of Jackson, MI, and Karlene Kimball of Hanover, MI; many nieces and nephews and mother-in-law, Roberta Boobyer.
Harold's family resided in Jackson, MI, where he was a member of Ganson Street Baptist Church until 1982 when they moved to Tucson, AZ with his employer, Family Life Radio. He was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church until attending Desert Son Community Church in 1997.
Harold was employed by Family Life Radio for 21 years, and served as Estate Planning Manager since 1991. Activities included membership in the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona, The Foothills Optimist Club, Insurance broker, financial manager of Discovery Learning Center, adult Sunday school teacher, church board member, Family Life Radio board member and golf pro want-a-be.
Harold is now rejoicing in the presence of his risen Lord and Savior, and will be missed very much by his family and many fiends. 'Celebration of Life' services will be held August 1st, 1998 at 3:00 p.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, Tucson, with Pastor Bill Wright officiating and August 8th, 1998 at 3:00 p.m. at Ganson Street Baptist Church, Jackson, with Pastor Bill Wright and Pastor David Brooks officiating.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be donated to Family Life Radio or Youth Haven Ranch.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Family Care of Tucson for their help, support, comfort and care.

Jesus V. 'Chumalia' Valles, 92, of Tucson, passed away July 29, 1998. Survived by granddaughter, Carmen Villegas (Jose); daughters, Panchita Martinez, Mary 'Tuti' Lopez (Efren) and Virginia Valles of California; sons, Jesus and Ramon Valles; sister, Esperanza Ballesteros. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and many beloved nephews, nieces and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 1998 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday, August 1, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY. Mr. Valles was in WWII and received a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. Donations can also be made to the Cathedral Maintenance fund.

Genevieve C. Kohlman - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter-in-law and friend. Genevieve was born January 28, 1937 in Iliff, CO. She died July 30, 1998 at TMC Hospice in Tucson. Genevieve is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dick; son, Scott (Lisa); daughter, Renee; grandchildren, Jared and Benjamin Kohlman; seven sisters, two brothers and mother and father-in-law, Madge and Raymond Kohlman. She was a beloved aunt and godmother of many nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. 'Gen' was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Joseph Gertner. May she rest in peace and be born into eternal life. Friends may call at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway) on Sunday August 2, 1998 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 1998 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. BAKKO, Minnie Louise, 71, of Tucson, died July 30, 1998. She was a member of the Tucson Medical Center Auxiliary since 1972. (Patti) of Ft. Jones, CA; Raymond L. Forde of Waterloo, NY; daughters, Anita E. Ramos of San Antonio, TX; Norene E. (Ron) Colbert of Ft. Jones, CA; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Anderson of Kennewick, WA; Evelyn L. Nord of Tucson; Marie P. Smith of Grass Valley, CA; sister-in-law, Harriet Letnes of Hillsboro, ND; Mrs. Forde was predeceased by her husband, Alexander E. Forde; son, Jens A. HAHN, Carol Anne, 34, went to be with her Lord July 31, 1998. She was born at Itazuke Air Base, Fukuoka, Japan, January 3, 1964. She is survived by her parents, Paul R. and Patricia A. Hahn; brothers, Steven (Sarah) Hahn, Tucson; Daniel Hahn, Mesa; sisters, Kathleen (Michael) Farfalla, Tempe; Susan (Kenneth) Hurst, Sacramento, CA; uncles, Lloyd (Patricia) Hahn, OH; Clement (Marci) Bowen, ME; aunt, Albina Pogreba, WA; great-aunt, Verna McHenry, OH; six nieces and nephews, Chrystyna, Andrea, Michael, Thomas, Marie, Danielle; and numerous cousins. Carol graduated from Santa Rita High School in 1982. She was a home health aide in the sick child unit of TACC for six years. She graduated from the Pima College CNA program and worked in nursing homes for the last eight years. Before her recent illness she worked in the Rehabilitation Ward of Valley Health Care. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and aunt, and she will always live in our hearts. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., August 5, 1998 at St. Frances de Sales, 1375 S. Camino Seco, with Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Desert. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 1998 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL. KENDRO, Anna M., 88, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away July 31, 1998. She was born November 8, 1909 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Louis and Mary Kvasnicka. Anna and her late husband, Joseph Kendro, had three sons and one daughter: Robert (Nancy) of Tucson; Joseph (Elaine) of Livermore, CA; Mary Ann of Martinez, CA; and Richard (Barbara) who preceded her in death. She has six grandchildren: Stephen Kendro and Lisa Watson of Tucson; Mark Kendro of Sacramento; Michael of Hayward, CA; Margo Egan of Menomonee Falls, WI; and Colby Ulrich of Eden Prairie, MN. She also proudly counted eight great-grandchildren. The eldest of five children, Anna is survived by Jean McGurren of Canton, OH; two sisters, Catherine Roman and Mary Miller; and a brother, Louis Kvasnicka preceded her in death. A homemaker, Anna raised her family in Canton, OH. Upon retirement, she and Joseph moved West to be near their children. She moved to Tucson in 1990 and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Mass will be offered Tuesday, August 4, at 8:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 7651 E. Pima. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sun Sounds Reading Thru Radio (for the visually impaired), 7290 E. LAMBE, Dorothy Britton, 81, died August 1, 1998. Mother of Bill (Bev) Lambe of El Sobrante, CA; and Nancy (Steven) Woods of San Mateo, CA; grandmother of Jordan Woods. Dorothy was a member of WAIME's and a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 1998 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. McClellan, all of Tucson; Richard and Robert McClellan, both of FL; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister of Gustavo Loaiza of Mexico. Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 5, 1998, 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with Burial to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. ROCK, Lee R., of Green Valley, passed away August 1, 1998. Lee, the son of Mary and Ira Rock, was born in Horse Cave, Kentucky July 1, 1923. He spent his early life in Rossville, Indiana, where he graduated from high school. He entered the Army Air Corps in January 1943, serving with the 485th Bomber Group as radio mechanic in Africa and Italy. In 1949, he married Helen L. Carlile. In the same year, Lee and Helen moved to Arizona. Lee received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Arizona State University. He received his school administrative certification from the University of Arizona. He taught in the Creighton School District and held administrative positions in San Manuel, Hayden, Payson, Tubac, and Santa Cruz Valley Schools Districts. Lee is survived by his wife; and five children, Stephen (Janice), Charlotte (David) Perkins, David (Cheri) Clark, Mary Lou (Gary) Lachvayder, and Virginia (Thomas) Rivenbark II; and 18 loving grandchildren; also by his brothers and sister: Louie H. Rock, Green Valley; Paul Rock and Maxine Layton, Frankfort, Indiana. Lee was a member of the Green Valley Community Church since 1971 where he was active until his illness. He also belonged to the American Legion. He loved his God, family, education, and church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Santa Rita Care Center for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Green Valley Community Church Foundation, Scholarship Fund. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2:00 p.m. at the Green Valley Community Church, 300 W. Esperanza Blvd., Green Valley, 625-4712. Reception will follow.

WYCHE, Wilton E. 'Gene', Lt. Col., Retired, USAF. Born September 16, 1919 and passed away July 31, 1998. His family includes his wife, Clara of 55 years; his beloved son, Dennis (Sharon) of Nipomo, CA; sister, Juanita (Sam) Ozee of Ft. Worth; brothers and sisters-in-law; cousins; and many loving nieces and nephews. Gene had been a pilot for 37 years before retiring so that he could enjoy his home and yard. Memorial Services will be held at American Legion Post #7, 330 W. Franklin on Wednesday, August 5, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the VA Hospital, c/o Volunteer Office for comfort items. FIDDES, Josephine, 76, of Tucson, passed away July 30, 1998. She is survived by sister, Alice; nephews, Joseph Hoge and Hayden Fiddes, a host of friends. HENDRICKS, Jerrolee M., 73, of Tucson, passed away August 1, 1998. Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Harry; children, Debra Roff of Tucson, Randen (Paula) Hendricks of Everett, WA., Jodette (Bobby) Vrabel of Citrus Heights, CA.; grandchildren, Aaron and Brandon Hendricks and Daniel and Amanda Vrabel. In the late 1970's, Jerrolee took great pride in her position as a computer operator for a local Tucson company. She was a long time Girl Scout Leader as well as a member of the PTA. Graveside Service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Wednesday, August 5, 1998 at noon with Rev. Les Plattner officiating. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.

LEON, Joe O., 86, of Tucson, passed away August 1, 1998. Survived by daughters, Alice (Steve) Silvas, Carmen Valdez and Teresa (Luis) Bustamante; sister, Cruz de la Corte; grandchildren, Steve, Joe and George Silvas, Joanna Valdez, Zenia V. Bustamante, Melissa Valdez, Bianca and Tatiana Bustamante; great-grandchildren, Rene Valdez, Aliza Bustamante, Efren and Czarina Retana. Joe O. Leon was a faithful employee of the City of Tucsonas a carpenter from October 8, 1961 through December 23, 1976. He was a native of Tucson.
