NICHOLAS GARY DOLAN
The family of Nick Dolan is surrounded by loving offerings of flowers, plants, and food. We have all your cards and notes of condolences, but we do not know to which offering many of them belong. And so we would like to thank you with our whole hearts for your concern and love and support, for your words and tears and offerings.
Nick would have loved all the attention and the presence of so many individual persons at his memorial service. We thank you all for your attendance and for your hugs and words and tears there also.
We would like to acknowledge the attendance of Nick's hockey team members and especially his hockey coaches, who also visited us at home. Each of us though the other was going to talk about Nick's love of hockey (and his intention to go to college on a hockey scholarship!) He had his new skates for the coming season and would have been there with you.
His Karate belts, white, yellow, and blue, of which he was very proud, were on the table of pictures, as were awards to symbolize his love of gymnastics and hockey and football. He would have been pleased to see all you football players too. And all the teachers and principal from Homer Davis Elementary School and Flowing Wells Junior High, as well as all of his fellow students and friends and their families.
Thank you to Nick's gymnastic family and your wonderful talk. And thank you to St. Francis in the Foothills, and especially to Pastor David Wilkinson for giving us the Myth of Nick, and to Carrie for bringing us together.
Thank you all for helping us to release Nick to his larger life.

Ruth C. Boshoven, 63, lost her valiant 13-year battle with breast cancer on August 10, 1998. Her courage and determination to beat the disease never faltered and she never complained. Her attention remained directed to the well-being of others. She spent untold hours comforting and encouraging other women upon discovery of a similar affliction. Her only regrets were inability to bowl with her friends, cook and entertain, and participate in the activities of or spoil her beloved eight grandchildren. She was a fantastic mother who raised three fine sons. She instilled in them her strong Christian values, strength, integrity and loving concern for all God's creatures. She was a giving, caring tower of strength who will be greatly missed by her husband, Ben; her sister, Mary; her sons and families, Mark and Laura (Ryan, Justin and Andrew), Jeff and Lori (Nicholas, Zachary and Jacob), Eric and Melanie (Sarah and Tristan); her mother-in-law, Adelle and her myriad of friends. A Memorial Service will be held in DMAFB Chapel #1 at 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 14. Immediately following, a wake will be held in the Officers Club to celebrate the life of this wonderful lady.
