Arriaga, his fiance, Lynn Reed; sisters, Elvira Amado, Isola Martinez, Leticia Fuentes; and brother, Alphonso Jacobs. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 1998 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, South Chapel, 204 S. BRITTAIN, A. Paul, born 1928 in Topeka, KS, and died October 31 in Tucson. He is survived by his wife, Ramona of Tucson; children, Andy (Debbie) and Douglas (Karen); 6 grandchildren of Kailua, HI; and brother Kenneth (Jackie) of Topeka. Paul graduated from Topeka High School and attended Washburn University there. In Tucson he was a member of Sons Of Orpheus, the Male Chorus of Tucson and the Old Fort Lowell Neighborhood Association. He was also retired from Hawaiian Telephone Co. Friends and relatives will be welcomed at a memorial gathering Sunday, November 8, 1998 from 2-4 p.m. at the Hill Farm Clubhouse, Hill Farm, Fort Lowell Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5325 E. Pima, Tucson, AZ, 85712. Private services will be held at a later date in Kailua, HI. HURD, Ada Ann, 65, died October 30, 1998 in Tucson, Arizona. Mother of Lorna Day, Amy Newlin and David Hurd, all of Tucson, and Bradley Ramsey of San Manuel, AZ.Sister of Robert Bradley of Laconia, New York. Nine grandchildren also survive. KALLMEYER, Helen Koegel, born on October 1, 1911 in New York, passed away on October 30, 1998 in Tucson where she had resided for the past 22 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Le Roy J. Kallmeyer; beloved mother of Joan B. Walter (deceased), John L. Kallmeyer, MD, and Helen M. Henderson. Also survived by devoted son-in-law Ian E. YEUNG, Heng Wah, 84, of Pasadena, CA, died October 22, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Violet; son, Tony (Eileen) Yeung; daughters, Margery (Manuel) Don and Marilyn (David) Chua; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher (Helen) Yeung, Kimberly (Michael) Yue, Kendra Don, Erica (Chi-Ray) Chien, Angela Don, Amanda, Briana and Tiffany Chua. MEHRTENS, Delores M., 55, of Tucson, passed away on Friday, October 30, 1998. Mrs. Mehrtens is survived by her husband, Robert Steenwyk; daughter, Christine (Joseph) Irwin of Fruitport, MI; son, Michael (Karen) Asdorff of Grand Rapids, MI; mother, Irene Russell; sisters, Valerie (Nick) Abid of Valpraiso, IN., Kay (Perry) Liftopad of Gloucester, VA. PRESSLEY, Helen M., 78, of Tucson died October 30, 1998. She is survived by daughters, Jo Ann Adkins and Nancy Jean Sears; grandchildren, Deborah Jo, Joseph, Helen, Clarice, Tanya, Nancy, Richard, Edward and Jill. 12 great-grandchildren also survive. SHORE, Irving, died Sunday, November 1, 1998. Survived by his beloved wife of nearly 52 years, Marie; loving children, Howard(Virginia Yrun), Sydney (John Watson), and Eric (Colleen); and grandchildren whom he cherished, Shana, Joshua, Samantha, and Benjamin; and sisters, Ann Kulak and Lee Port. Mr. Shore was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Heller, Sophie Palant; and his grandson, Sean Marc. Born on May 18, 1913, in Russia, Mr. Shore immigrated to Canada and, later, the United States. An enthusiastic and talented artist, photographer and designer, Irving was a pioneer in the drapery and window shade business. After a distinguished career in New York, he relocated to San Francisco where his company completed the interiors of the Mark Hopkins Hotel, and numerous private estates and residences. Graveside Service Monday, November 2, 1998, 1:00 p.m., Temple Emanu-El Section, Evergreen Cemetery, with Rabbi Thomas Louchheim officiating. ALMADA, Irma R., born on April 4, 1945 in Cananea, Sonora, passed away on October 31, 1998 in Tucson where she resided for the past 35 years. Irma was a loving, devoted sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Alfredo of 35 years; sons, Carlos, Jesus, Marcos, Angel; grandchildren, Claryssa, Jesus Jr., Angel Jr., Carina, Antonio, Andrea; sisters, Guadalupe, Lydia; and her brother, Jorge. Mass Service will be held at St. Monica Church, 212 W.Medina Rd. from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.Wednesday, November 4, 1998. Interment service 9:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5 at South Lawn Mortuary, 5401 S. Park Ave.

BAKER, Marilyn Ann, was born February 11, 1933 in Sturgis, Michigan, the daughter of Urban and Nell Wise. She attended Albion College (Albion, Michigan), and was a graduate of Bronson School of Nursing (Kalamazoo, Michigan) and of Stephens College (Columbia, Missouri). She is survived by her husband, Don M. Baker; her daughters, Martha Baum and Mary Buckelew and her son, Don (Bucky) Baker II and wife, Jodi. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Austin, Amy and Matthew Baum, John, Brian and Jillian Buckelew; Davis and Tyler Baker; and by two sisters, Judy of Methune, Massachusetts and Jean and husband Jim of Howe, Indiana. An accomplished vocalist, her solo voice graced church and college choirs for many years. Her career in nursing spanned more than 30 years, until rheumatoid arthritis forced her to retire from Tucson Unified School District, where she served as a School Nurse, at elementary schools including Blenman, Cragin, Davidson, University Heights, Schumaker and Van Horne. She was an active member of St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, where she has served on the Board of Directors of Tucson Metropolitan Ministry (TMM).A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St.Philip's (Box 65840, Tucson, AZ 85728) or TMM Children's Village (3127 E. Adams St., Tucson, AZ 85716). (Kathy) Bartlett; sisters, Josephine (Dean) Reed and Belia (Lewis) Stockwell; brothers, Ernesto (Romelia) and Abran (Socorro) Flores; grandchildren, Justin, Chris and Andrew Mader, Rafe and Tamah Bartlett. Vera was a graduate of Tucson High School. Born in Hayden in 1928. She grew up in Hayden and Tiger before moving to Tucson. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces who loved 'Aunt Vera' dearly. The family wishes to thank her many close friends and co-workers at information and referral lifeline. George R. Gaynor, 76 of Tucson/Scottsdale, passed away October 31, 1998. Survivors include his fiancee, Judy Golis; children, Janet (Lin) Smith, Andrew (Margaret), Rick (Christine), Marc (Cheryl); grandchildren, Deborah, Marc, Drew, Paul, Ricky, Ashley, Shannon, Russel, Nicole; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Louie; and sister, Mary. George was preceded in death by his wife, Anne. George was a man who loved life. He enjoyed fishing, golfing with his friends and looking forward to traveling the world with his fiancee. George Pro Hernandez (Magoo) - Our brother joined the Lord on October 30, 1998 in Los Angeles, CA. Preceded in death by parents, Julia Pro Trujillo and Alfred Hernandez. He leaves his beloved wife, Alicia; children, George and Julie Hernandez, also, Sylvia, Tony, Danny, Dino Bribiesca; brother, Rene Hernandez; sisters, Stella Garcia, Elena Gonzalez, Eleonor Robles, Brenda Sanchez and many grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Elinor; children, Wendy (Clair) Doughty of Colorado Springs, CO; Craig (Marlene) MacDonald of St. Charles, MO; Lael (Bryan) Knodel of Flagstaff, AZ; Jody (Otto) Edmonds of Tucson, AZ; seven stepchildren; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
