PETERS, Brian William, 43, died October 30, 1998. Father of Jeslin Peters of W. Springfield, MA; Paul Peters of Tucson; and Mariah Peters of Catalina, AZ; son of Edmund Peters of Tucson; brother of Theresa (Craig) Saltzman, Carol Peters, and David (Cherie) Peters, all of Tucson, and Virginia (Gary) Hesselink of Troy, MT. He was a loving son, father, and brother; loyal and devoted friend; respected colleague and citizen of the world. He loved the natural beauty of this world–we wish him peace in the next. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Service 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3 at Catalina State Park The Group Area. Contributions in Brian's memory may be made to The Nature Conservancy, 300 E. POWELL, Phyllis Hart, 47, loving and much loved wife of Skylar Powell and daughter of William and Betty Hart, left this world on November 1, 1998 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. From the day she was diagnosed to her final hours, through her courage and cheerful spirit she was and will always be and inspiration to her family and friends. This beautiful, shining and wondrous light will be sorely missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Arizona Oncology Associates for their kindness and special care. Phyllis loved the outdoors and had a special fondness for giraffes. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciated donations be made in the name of the Phyllis Powell Giraffe Fund to the Tucson Zoological Society at 900 S. Randolph Way 85716 or to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 1998 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Powell for close friends and relatives. Arrangements by family owned ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES.

RAMIREZ, Celina Ariana, infant daughter of Tony and Erica Ramirez, died November 1, 1998. Arrangements by BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

ROBISON, Marion E. 'Bert' 79, passed away November 1, 1998. He is survived by Alcydean, his wife of 56 years; daughter, Carol Chase (Bob) of Plano, Texas; son, Jeff Robison (Tess) of Canby, Oregon; four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson and one brother, E.L. 'Rob' Robison of Tucson. Mr. Robison was a railroad employee for 44 years, retiring as a Conductor for Southern Pacific in December 1981. He was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since joining in 1949. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3rd. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 4th at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1825 N. Alvernon with burial at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Pastor Phil Irby will be officiating. SANTA CRUZ, Jose Trinidad C. 'Dad' 81, died October 30, 1998. Born November 21, 1916 in Bisbee, Arizona. Served in the Marines in WWII. Retired from the Maintenance Department of T.U.S.D. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Santa Cruz; parents, Jose and Nestora and brothers, Roman, Francisco and Paul. Survived by daughter, Betty Bermudez of Tucson; son, Joseph Trinidad Santa Cruz of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Joseph (Ana) and Melissa Bermudez of Tucson and Sean and Marissa Santa Cruz of San Diego, CA; three great-grandchildren, Christina, Cynae and Francisco Bermudez, all of Tucson also survive. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 1998 at BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 1998 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 801 N. Grande. VALDEZ, Jacinta Perez, 84, of Tucson, passed away October 31, 1998. Preceded in death by husband, Mike O. Valdez. Survived by daughters, Martha (Fred) Alvarez and Carmen (Roy) Macias; sons, Mike (Angie), Roy (Olga) and Gilbert (Lupe) Valdez; brother, Salvador Perez. Also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 1998 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Thursday, November 05, 1998, 9:00 a.m. at St.Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. WAINWRIGHT, Mrs. Winifred 'Fritz' age 84, died Friday, October 30, 1998 at home. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 24, 1914 to George W. and Nellie (DeWind) Keur and married Albert E.Wainwright on July 3, 1937 in Muskegon. Mrs. Wainwright was a homemaker and a member of the Casas Adobes Congregational Church. Survivors include two sons, James A. (Lorna) Wainwright of St. Paul, MN and William (Rosanne) Wainwright of St. Augustine, FL: five daughters, Nancy (Robert) Hanes of Arden Hills, MN, Carol (Ron) Berglund of Muskegon, MI, Doris(Larry) Locke of Muskegon, MI, Peggy (Stanley) O'Kane of Tucson, AZ and Alene (Karl) Aho of Two Harbors, MN; 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Locke of Battle Creek, MI; and two sisters-in-law, Florence Keur and Henrietta Keur both of Muskegon, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wainwright on February 27, 1997 as well as two brothers. Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 6, 1998, 2:00 p.m. at Casas Adobes congregational ChurchU.C.C. A memorial Service will be held in Muskegon, MI at a late date. BAKER, Marilyn Ann, was born February 11, 1933 in Sturgis, Michigan, the daughter of Urban and Nell Wise. She attended Albion College (Albion, Michigan), and was a graduate of Bronson School of Nursing(Kalamazoo, Michigan) and of Stephens College (Columbia, Missouri). She is survived by her husband, Don M. Baker; her daughters, Martha Baum and Mary Buckelew and her son, Don (Bucky) Baker II and wife, Jodi. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Austin, Amy and Matthew Baum, John, Brian and Jillian Buckelew; Davis and Tyler Baker; and by two sisters, Judy of Methune, Massachusetts and Jean and husband Jim of Howe, Indiana. An accomplished vocalist, her solo voice graced church and college choirs for many years. Her career in nursing spanned more than 30 years, until rheumatoid arthritis forced her to retire from Tucson Unified School District, where she served as a School Nurse, at elementary schools including Blenman, Cragin, Davidson, University Heights, Schumaker and Van Horne. She was an active member of St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, where she has served as Newcomer Coordinator and as an officer of Episcopal Church Women. She also served on the Board of Directors of Tucson Metropolitan Ministry (TMM). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Philip's (Box 65840, Tucson, AZ 85728) or TMM Children's Village (3127 E. Adams St., Tucson, AZ 85716). BRATTON, Ernest, age 56, passed away Monday, November 2, 1998. Survived by daughter, Marilyn Bowden of Marana, AZ, Craig Bratton of Marana, AZ, Carolyn Hanson of Palmer, Alaska; seven grandchildren and brother, Ray Bratton of Tucson, AZ. Ernest is loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. Services will be held at Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile., Thursday, November 5, 1998 at 6:00 p.m. Friends may view one hour prior to service time.

BOURGUIGNON, William, age 57, of Tucson, died November 3, 1998. Survived by wife, Bernadette; son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Tori; grandson, Grady; mother, Grace; sister, Jackie and many other family members and friends. Memorial Service will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 N. HARRINGTON, Mildred Kjentsrud, was born September 24, 1916 in Finley, North Dakota and passed away October 29, 1998 at Tucson Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Harrington. They are survived by their son, H. Gregory Harrington who has been residing with his mother in Tucson. Millie spent most of her early life in eastern North Dakota and moved to Tucson in 1969 where she worked for many years as a secretary at Pima Community College. She was an active member of Casas Adobes Congregational Church and was involved in supporting many Christian related organizations. There will be a memorial service Thursday, November 5th at Casas Adobe Congregational Church, 6801 North Oracle at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by Casas Adobes Congregational Memorial Fund.

HEILMAN, Roger John, February 12, 1954 – October 31, 1998. 'We love and miss you/ These words you would hear/ If only the clock of time/ Would allow us to go back./ Taken so suddenly, / We only wish for you/ To find yourself/ Within God's comforting arms, / Holding you as we wish/ We could still do'. Roger is survived by his wife, Martha; three children, Candice, Tracey and Joseph; his father, Joseph; and his brother, Terry. ILDERTON, David, 77, of Tucson, passed away October 31, 1998. Born in Alameda, CA August 22, 1921. David lived the majority of his life in the San Francisco Bay area. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette in 1982. They lived for many years at The Fountains Retirement Apartments. Dave joined the Marine Reserves prior to WWII and while still in High School they activated and deployed his unit to Iceland. He served in the South Pacific with the Marines until after the war. He then transferred to the Army National Guard and retired as a Captain. He had also retired from Sanford University. During their retirement years David and Jeanette lived on a Sailboat and in their Motorhome, traveling the U.S. and Canada before settling in Tucson. Dave is survived by daughter, Davette Fowler; son, Christopher (Jean) Ilderton both of Tucson; sister, Barbara (George) Walker of Los Altos, CA; six grandchildren, Chris (Debbi) Cole of Sim Valley, CA, Andrea Molk, Amy (Jim) Garrett, Mark Cole, Allison (Tony) Morris, all of Tucson, Michael Cole (USN) of Barbers Point NAS Hawaii. He has one great-grandson, Dillion Molk of Tucson. At Dave's request there will be no services. Memorials may be made in his name to Cancer Research in Honor of Jeanette. MACK, Lawrence G., 84, of Tucson, died Monday, November 2, 1998. Mr. Mack moved to Tucson in 1955 and worked for Jacome's Department Store in boys and mens department, retiring in 1962. He was a veteran of WWII, seeing action in the South Pacific, retiring with the rank of Captain. Mr. Mack is survived by wife, Mary; daughters, Judy Mack of Page, AZ and Nanci Mack of San Diego. Graveside Service 11:00 a.m.Friday, November 6 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery with Rev. Bill Killian officiating. Friends may call at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road, Thursday, November 5 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to TMC Auxiliary or a charity of ones choice.

MORRIS, Helen, 90, died November 3, 1998. Mother of Peter (Denise) Morris, Bill (Jan) Morris; grandmother of Christine Morris, Ellen Chamberlain, Megan Morris, Nathan Morris, Erica Morris, Laura Morris, Jason (Dina) Matsuzawa, Jeremy Matsuzawa; great-grandmother of Conor and Allison Chamberlain and Austin Matsuzawa; sister of Virginia Poe. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Morris in 1977. She has been a resident of Tucson since 1969. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice, 350 N. MUELLER, Alexander Phillip 'Alex' 29, of Tucson, died October 28, 1998. Born on June 23, 1969 in Manhattan, Kan., he spent his childhood in Kansas and Minnesota before moving to Tucson in 1984. He attended Palo Verde and Catalina High Schools and was a trained machinist. Alex worked as a carpenter and welder in the Pacific Northwest and Tucson, where he developed a specialization in custom welding and metal work. For the past three years, he owned a successful business in Tucson where he produced many detailed and artistic projects. Alex's special touch is a notable part of many building projects in Tucson, Flagstaff and southern Arizona.
Alex loved both the Pacific Northwest and the desert, especially the mountains and caves in the Tucson area. He enjoyed family projects and was always generous with his time and skills. He loved and cherished his wife, family and friends and was a very loving and proud father. He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Rhoda; son, David; daughter, Marisa; mother, Patty Phipps; father and stepmother, Bill Mueller and Joanne Gallaher; brother and sister-in-law, Jon and Pat Mueller; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Randy Snider; grandmother, Mary Smith; grandfather, W.B. Phipps; step grandmother, Marion Gallaher; two nieces, Brigitte Mueller and Lauren Snider; nephew, J Snider and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Alex's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 6 at Stillwell Twiggs House, 134 S. 5th Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alex Mueller Memorial Fund, Acct. #0023005357, National Bank of AZ, 136 N. Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. The trust fund will be used for his children's education.

OBENAUF, Patricia Mary, 62, died November 1, 1998. Devoted Wife of James E. Obenauf of 42 years; Loving Mother of Dave (Naomi) Obenauf, Dan Obenauf, Nancy (Kirk) Johnson, and Susie (Bill) Wilcox; 6 Grandchildren also survive. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 1998 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Donations in Patricia's memory may be made to TMC Hospice, 5301 E. Grant Rd., T/A 85712.

TENNEN, Edward, 76, of Tucson, died November 1, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Tennen; daughter, Dena V. Tennen of Tucson; sons, Leslie I. Tennen of Phoenix and Cory J. Tennen of Orlando, FL; a sister, Eva Hershman of Phoenix; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Tennen was a retired goldsmith and was a US Army veteran of WWII having served in both the European and Pacific Theaters. Graveside Services were held Tuesday in the Congregation Young Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Edward Tennen to the Israel Humanitarian Foundation, 276 5th Ave., NY, NY 10001. Arrangements were by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.

WILDBLOOD, Lillian M., a resident of Tucson since 1971, and the widow of James S. Wildblood died of natural causes at the Mountain View Care Center on Monday morning, November 2, 1998. Lillian was born in East Liverpool, OH on October 31, 1910 and celebrated her 88th birthday while at Mountain View. Lillian was a teacher with the Ohio Public School System in Shaker Heights, OH. She retired in 1971, and moved to Arizona. She is survived by two sons, James Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and Lynn H. Wildblood of Seattle, WA. Also surviving her, a grandson, Christian of Tucson and a granddaughter, Megan of Annapolis, MD. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 1998 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee. A reception will follow at Lillian's home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Child Society.
