CORDOVA, Juan Felipe, 70, of Tucson, died November 4, 1998. He is survived by his children, Frances L., Carlos M., and Samuel (Alice) Cordova, Juanita, Bertha, Josephine M. and Monica Marie Cordova, Louisa (Richard) Molina, Martina (Mike) Esparza; and stepdaughter, Terry C.Ramirez; brothers, Albert, Frank (Lucercia), Leonor and Jesus (Mary) Cordova; sisters, Maria Louisa (Estevan) Salvador and Lucy C. Valenzuela; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Alex M. Cordova and Rachel M. Cordova. A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 1998 at Cristo Rey Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 1998. CORONADO, Joe C., born July 30, 1929, headed to the Big Roundup in the sky on November 9, 1998. He is preceded in death by his son, Joey Coronado. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Stella; sons, Bill (Yvonne), Mike (Pat) Gabriel (Sandy) and his daughter, Marcie Coronado; brother, Alfonso (Lucy) Coronado and family; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and family members, and his many friends at AZ Portland Cement Co. where he worked for 35 years until his retirement in 1991. His jokes and laughters will be greatly missed by us all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association. Special thanks to our family and friends and the Carondelet Hospice for their caring support. Memorial Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday 14 at St. Rita in the Desert, Vail, AZ. ENGLANDER, Sarah, 77, of Tucson, died November 10, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Englander of Iowa City, IA; sister and brother-in-law, Rabbi Milton and Thelma Rosenbaum of Royal Oak, MI; sister, Marian Goldberg of Lake Worth, FL: many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Joel Englander and brother-in-law, Sam Goldberg. Mrs. Englander was born June 25, 1921 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Leo and Fanny Newhouse. She was a 1943 graduate of New York University. She and her late husband owned Englander's Women's Apparel Shop in Ann Arbor, MI for many years prior to moving to Tucson. Graveside Service Friday, 11:00 a.m. B'nai B'rith Section, Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.

GIVENS, George, born December 16, 1916, died October 30, 1998. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Dottie; children: Barbara Godfrey, Charles and Hal; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Member of the Elks 2663, F.M.C.A and Good Sam (Jackrabbits) RV Groups, held offices in all three groups. No services.

McINTOSH, Jefferson D., at the age of 83, passed away November 8, 1998. He was survived by his wife, Louise; son, Jeff; daughter-in-law, Laure; and two grandchildren, Bret and Courtne and many friends. He was a longtime resident since 1935 and was a member of the Iron Workers Local Union #75. Sye donated his vital organs to the Life Legacy Foundation and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to this foundation. Services will be held Saturday, November 14, 1998 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd. at 2:00 p.m.

Lynn M. Mirabile, 46, passed away November 10, 1998. Survived by husband, Dr. Joseph C. Mirabile; stepsons, Jonathan and Jason; mother, Doris Orchekowsky; brothers, Lee Orchekowsky and Les Orchekowsky; and sister, Lou Ann Armentrout and their families. Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, November 14, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Cyril's Church, Pima & Swan. Remembrances may be made to Tucson Medical Center. MIRANDA, Guadalupe L., 83, died November 11, 1998. Mother of Gilbert Miranda of Carlsbad, CA, Lydia Valdezof Moreno Valley, CA, Sylvia Whitney of Coolidge, AZ and Frances Davies of Green Bay, WI; sister of George Lopez of Tucson and Edward Lopez of Huachuca City, AZ. 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 1998 at BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14th at St. John's Catholic Church, 602 W. Ajo. RAMSOWER, Florence Alma, September 10, 1919 to November 9th, 1998. Loving wife of 57 years to Frank C. Ramsower; loving mother to six children and families, David (Molly), Carl (Susan), Francie (Mike), Ken (Lisa), Don (Anne) and Jerry (Stacy); 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Loving sister to Connie Remily, Mildred Wills, George and Norma Remily; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was born in Turton, S.D, moved to Tucson at age seven and graduated from Tucson H.S. in 1937. She has been a volunteer in the Tucson Community for many years: Balmoral Care Center, St. Cyril Catholic Church, Old Pueblo Touring Association, Tucson Touring T's, Model T. Club Ford America, bowled with TWBA since 1971. Services will be held at ADAIR DODGE, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Friday, November 13th. Visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Reading at 7:00 p.m. Mass, Saturday, November 14th at St. Cyril Catholic Church, 10:00 a.m. No flowers please. Donations to the American Diabetes Association.

THOMAS, Doris 'D.D.' Miller, died November 10, 1998. Doris was born in Boston, MA, December 15, 1900. She was educated in schools in Brookline, MA, Santa Monica, CA, and graduated from Mrs. Merrill's 'Oaksmere' in Mamaroneck, NY. She came to Tucson from New York State in 1947 with her husband, Marion, and family. It was here that she began her career in interior designing, becoming a member of ASID and appearing in Who's Who of American Women. After being with Barrow's Furniture, she was appointed head of the design studios of Lou Register's in both Tucson and Sun City. She retired in 1971. Since then Doris enjoyed traveling, bridge, and her membership in Chapter J, PEO. She is survived by daughters, Laura Thomas Harris of Tucson and Mary Lee 'Susie' Gibson of Phoenix and son, Tyler (Eve) Thomas of San Antonio, Texas. Her 10 grandchildren are Leslie (John) Maier, Lynne (Dennis) Olson of Tucson, Stephen (Barbara) Talmage of Peoria, Leigh (Vince) Talmage-Perez of Austin and Manila, Corey Harris, Anne (Guillermo) Quiroga, Susan (Fritz) Blau and John (Alma) Thomas, all of Austin, Mark Thomas of Dallas, and Charles (Kristi) Thomas of San Francisco. She has 11 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 1998 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5601 E. Broadway. VERUSIO, Esther R., 89, died November 10, 1998. Survived by sons, Stanley F. Verusio; Ron and his wife, Mitzi Verusio; sister, Terry Cella; grandchildren, Debbie, Leslie, Valerie, Kimberly, Esther, Karen and Steven. BULLOCK, Ethel, 77, born January 9, 1921 in Marvell, Arkansas to Robert and Mary Glover. Ethel passed November 7, 1998 in Tucson. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her late husband, James Bullock. Also preceded her in death was a sister, Alma Davis; a brother, Columbus and Oscar Glover and including a son, Jasper Bullock. Mrs. Bullock is survived by children, Vernon, Bruce, Alton Bullock; other sons, Davis O'Bard and George Jones. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation, Monday, November 16th from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. followed by service at 1:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Christopher Curtis, 18, of Tucson, passed away November 11, 1998. Preceded in death by father, Alan D. Curtis; grandparents, Nelson F. and Myra Curtis, Walter Nashio. Survived by grandparents, Charlotte Bahlen, Arnold and Peggy McReynolds; great-grandmothers, Bessie Quintero and Annie Ethelbah; parents, Herbert McReynolds, M.D. and Esther Nashio; sister, Tayah Curtis; brother, Steven Curtis; aunts, Vanessa Nashio, Vannette Endfield, Cheryl, Vanda Sewa, Charlita and Vanchelle Bahlen; uncles, Sgt. Scott F. Curtis, Duane Nashio and Samuel McReynolds. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 1998 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, South Chapel, 240 S. Stone Ave. A service will be offered at 11:00 a.m. in the South Chapel also following the services. A wake will be held Saturday, November 14, 1998, 6:00 p.m. at the home of Charlotte Bahlen in Canyon Day, Arizona, with a service to follow on Sunday, November 15, 1998, 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Fort Apache, Arizona. Interment to follow at White River Cemetery, in White River, Arizona. Chris was a free spirit, with a beautiful smile. We all loved him dearly and will miss him forever. Donations may be made in the name of Christopher Scott Curtis to the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Western Little League of Tucson. FRADKIN, Nathan, a retired U.S. Postal Worker, passed away on November 6th, 1998. Born in Worcester, MA on January 26, 1918, he is preceded in death by his parents, A. Morris and Bessie Fradkin. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughter, Neva (Larry) Williams; sons, Douglas (Debra) and Heston (Shelley), all of Tucson. Also a sister, Ann (Norman) Witkes of Florida, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were held on November 8th at East Lawn Palms Cemetery with Rabbi Joseph Weizenbaum officiating. The family requests that remembrances be made in Nathan's name to Carondelet Hospice Services, 1802 W. Saint Mary's Rd., Tucson, AZ 85745 or Casa De Los Ninos, 1101 N. 4th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85705. He was loved by all of his family. His great sense of humor and caring for his family will be deeply missed. We love you Dad.

Mr. Morris, 72, formerly of Burlington, Iowa and Gurnee, Illinois. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty; children, Gary (Trish) Morris, Ginger (Ron) Downey and Gloria (Richard) Bennett; seven grandchildren, Kimberly and Daniel Morris, Kevin, Kyle and Keith Downey, Patrick and Rachael Bennett. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 1998 at 5:00 p.m. at Park Avenue Christian Church, 4635 S. Park Ave., with the Rev. Chuck Mull officiating. RAY, Edna M., 83, died at the Desert Life Care Center on November 11, 1998. Born in Memphis, TN, she and her family came to Tucson from California in 1944. A devoted wife and mother, she was unfailing in her care for her husband and family. Gilbert Ray, her husband of 57 years passed away after a long illness in 1991. She is survived by her children, Jackie (Bruce) Burch, Bruce Ray, Althea Archambeau, Tom (Sandy) Ray, Michael Ray, George (Judy) Ray and Tim Ray; brothers, Buddy and Richard; sisters, Billie, Alice and Peggy; 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway) on November 15 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. where funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16. Interment to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery.

REUTER Jolyn M., 23, died on Tuesday, November 10, 1998. She is survived by father and his wife, John and Wendy Reuter; sister, Joni Rae of Phoenix, AZ; brother, John (Deb) Reuter. Jolyn graduated from University High and The Desert Institute of Healing Arts. She was an avid student and teacher of ballet and modern dance, and also a budding artist. She was a loving spirit who demonstrated love to everyone. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her writings and paintings will be a constant reminder of her journey amongst us. Memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 17, at 1:00p.m. at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon St. (Pantano and Kenyon). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa Glorioso, a shelter for families affected by AIDS/HIV.
