Ellenora Ruth Bowyer Wuestoff - Born 30 July 1924 at Poughkeepsie, New York, died 25 December 1998 in Tucson. She is preceded in death by her father, Merl J. Bowyer and Marian Elaine Bowyer, both of Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her daughters, Ellenora Lee Koepf of Conyers, Georgia and Merle Ann Hood Sergheyev of Tucson; her former husband, Dr. Hubert E. Wuesthoff of Payson, AZ; and by three grandsons, Kenyon Hood, Cameron Hood and Keldin Sergheyev and a granddaughter, Ellenora Jesenia Koepf. She is a graduate of Ollivet College, Michigan and a member of Soronian Society. She has been active in music societies in Detroit, St. Louis and was Past President of the Tucson Symphony Womens Society. She was elected to the Tucson Symphony Governing Board and has continued to serve as an honorary member. She has been an active member of Air Force Officers Wives Clubs and Medical Wives Clubs in St. Louis, United Kingdom, Vacaville, California, Portugal and Tucson. She also was a participating member of AAUW, Assistance League, Casa Del Sol Thrift Shop, and Young Audiences, andwas a member of the Tucson Council for International Visitors. She took classes to continue her education, enjoyed traveling broadly and snorkeling. Memorial Service will be at St. Philip's at 11:30 a.m. 31 December 1998. There will be a brief reception following at the church. Memorial donations in her name may be directed to Young Audiences and the Tucson Symphony.

DEITCH, Lee, of Philadelphia, PA, died on December 29, 1998. Son of Edward and the late Faye Deitch; brother of Joan Levy and Larry Deitch. Funeral Services are being held Thursday at Shalom Memorial Park in Philadelphia. Arrangements by Joseph Levine & Son, Philadelphia, (215) 927-2700.

ESPOSITO, Richard J., 43 of Tucson, died December 28, 1998. Son of Adeline J.Wedeking of Tucson; brother of Michael P. Esposito and Jennifer J. Esposito of Tucson. Memorial service at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave. Saturday January 2, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald Fiedle officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.

GARCIA, Rafael L. (Brother), 64 of Tubac, died December 28, 1998. Son of Theresa Garcia of Tubac; father of Rafael Garcia III and Veronica Garcia of California; husband of Delores Garcia of California; nine grandchildren. Brother of Virginia Garcia of Tucson, Edilia Rodrigas of Tumacacori, AZ; and close friend Ann Williams of Green Valley, AZ. GORDON, Veronica Teresa Poli, born in Conway, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1915, died suddenly on December 29, 1998 at her home in Tucson. Preceded in death by her husband, David 'Scotty' Gordon, she is survived by her loving children, Bob (Paula) of Tucson, Joe of Sterling Heights, MI, Candy (Bob) Burroughs of Tucson, Bill (Suzi) of Detroit, MI and Mary (Kenny) Johnston of Tempe. Also surviving are grandchildren, Mindy, Alissa, Michelle, Kelli, Amanda, Theresa, Barbie and Angela and infant great-granddaughter, Payton Nicole. Survivors in the Detroit area also include her brother, Bruno and Chris (Alice) Poli; sisters-in-law, Helen (Leo) Oddo and Emma (Art) Schultz, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 'Yonnie' was an avid golfer, and enjoyed table tennis, pinochle, poker, Bocci ball and many other activities with her friends at Far Horizons Trailer Village, where she made her home for the past 20 years since moving from Madison Heights, MI. She also participated in several Senior Olympics events, winning numerous medals, of which she was very proud. Although she will be dearly missed by all who knew her, 'Yonnie' always felt herself to be blessed, with her continuing good health and the ability to enjoy her family, friends and many activities, as she did until the very day God called her to be with Him. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 2 at 11:00 a.m.at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local VFW or a favorite charity. Cremation and arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910E. Broadway.

GRAHAM, Elizabeth D., January 5, 1919 – December 27, 1998. She spent her childhood years in East Orange, NJ and graduated from LaSalle Jr. College. She was the only child the the late Jack and Elizabeth Davidson who later moved here where Mr. Davidson was the G.M of the great, old El Conquistador Hotel on Broadway in the 40's. It was here that she met her husband, the late Col. Raymond A. Graham and shared his life in the Air Force. They had two children, Jim Graham who resides in Mission Viejo, CA with his wife, Zigi and Mrs. Graham's grandson, two-year-old Zachary. Jim is the G.M. for the Marriott's Costa Mesa Suites Hotel. A daughter, Leslie Rae Finefrock resides in Tucson with her only granddaughter, Erica Leigh (20 years old) and the last blessed addition to Mrs. Graham's family before her passing, great-grandson, three-month-old Ethan Thomas. She has lived in the area on an off since 1974 and worked as bookkeeper for Adair Funeral Home. She has been without comparison a most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed beyond words for to find her serenity in peace. A memorial service will be held in her memory on Tuesday, January 5, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. from the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, (Dodge Chapel), 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway). Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in the Spring.

MOLINA, SIXTO O. SR., 74, passed away December 28, 1998. He is survived by his life time companion, Alice Molina; daughter, Brenda Gradillas; son, Sixto (Frances) Molina, Jr.; sisters, Aurora Huerta and Nellie Vindiola; brothers, Rudy and Fred Molina; grandchildren, Elizabeth Gradillas, Monique Rodriquez, Lisa Morales, James, Joseph and Michael Molina; also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 1999 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m., at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Avenue with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Monday, January 4, 1999, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. Internment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC. Mr. Molina served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946, during World War II under General Douglas McArthur in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Smith-Reyes; grandson of Robert and Helen Smith. RENTERIA, Mary O. M., left us on Christmas day, December 25, 1998. Predeceased by husband, Alberto C. Renteria. Survived by son, Thomas (Donna) Trujillo, Gloria Trujillo (companion Gloria Ryan); daughter, Andrea Tarango. She leaves behind six grandsons, Michael Richardson, Frank, David, and Chris Tarango, Tom and Logan Trujillo; a granddaughter, Leslie Armstrong. She had 11 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Dario Martinez and Clarence Koch of Phoenix and many other family members and friends who will sorely miss her. She was a matron for the Pima County Sheriff's Department and worked many years at El Charro Restaurant in her younger days. She was a very loving mother and had much compassion for people. Viewing was held Wednesday evening and church services at St. Augustine's Cathedral Thursday morning. Burial was at Yuma, Arizona on December 31.

REPELA, Rosina M., 85, died December 30, 1998. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Repela. She is survived by her daughter, Maryanne R. (Gerard) O'Meara; grandson, Stephen G. O'Meara; granddaughter, Ann C. O'Meara all of Tucson, AZ; brother, Harry (Eleanor) Papietro of Phoenix, AZ. Private Mass of the Resurrection and graveside services at St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Rosina's name be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 13600 Phoenix, AZ 85002. Larry E. Bramhall, 53, passed away December 28th, 1998 at St. Joseph's Hospital. The son of Fon and Nora Bramhall, he is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Bramhall; son, Edwin Bramhall and his fiance, Cathy; daughter, Stephanie (William) Savell; grandson, Billy Savell; sister, Thelma Radley; brother, Fon Bramhall; sister, Barbara Grabosch; sister, Phyllis Daniels and brother, Dan Bramhall. Larry retired from a distinguished 30 year career serving as Master Chief (ABMC) for the United States Navy. He served his country honorably and enjoyed traveling the world by sea. He will be remembered by his family and friends for unconditional loyalty, love and endless generosity. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m.Saturday, January 2, 1999 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. CHAMBERLAIN, Enriqueta P., 66, died Thursday, December 31, 1998 in Tucson. Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 1999 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Nogales City Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Albert James Chamberlain of Tucson, AZ; three sons, Henry Albert, Jesse Edward and Alex James Chamberlain all of Tucson; four daughters, Diana Patricia Corella of Glendale, AZ, Judy Esther Federico of Tucson, Martina Angelica Chamberlain of Tucson, AZ, Jeannette Antonia Chamberlain of Tucson, AZ; four brothers, Teodoro Perez II of Tucson, AZ, Miguel Perez of Albuquerque, N.M., Francisco Perez of Nogales, Son Mexico, Juan Manuel Perez of Tucson, AZ; three sisters, Julieta Zermino, Chayito Perez and Lupita Gutierezz all of Nogales, Son. Mexico; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements by Adair's-Carroon Mortuary, 1191 N. Grand Ave., Nogales, AZ.

Winnie Mae D'Angelo, 73, died peacefully Sunday, December 27, 1998. Preceded in death by son, Walter Bryan Horton III; parents, Thomas and Marjorie Bragg; brother, Thomas Bragg Jr. Survived by husband, William D'Angelo; children, Steven Horton, Jerry (Amy) Horton and Jamie (David) Sullivan; brother, Lawrence Bragg Sr.; grandchildren, Nathan and Steven Horton Jr., Joanie, Elizabeth and James Horton. Winnie Mae is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, two great-grandchildren and her dear friend, Marguerite Carmichael. A native Tucsonan, Winnie Mae was bornat home on 12th Street and Warren on November 17, 1925. She attended Miles School, Mansfeld Jr. High and Tucson High School. Winnie Mae had many stories of what life was like growing up in Tucson when it was a 'small town.' Some of these included: picnics at Mission Pool, events at the Fox Theater, dancing at the old opera house on Congress St. and being crowned Labor Day Queen of Tucson in 1940. Winnie Mae worked at the Pioneer Hotel for many years. She also was a talented comedy writer who shared her wonderful humor with local radio shows. She enjoyed reading, gardening, rock collecting, traveling, antiques and her dog, Maxx–however, her greatest joy was her family. Winnie Mae will be remembered by all who were touched by her fun, loving and generous spirit. Her family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at U.M.C. for their special care and support. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the American Heart Association, the Humane Society or charity of your choice.

FAIRBERG, Theresa 'Tee' died in Staton, Island, New York, December 29, 1998 at age 85. Tucson resident, with her husband, Mathew from 1953 to 1997. Longtime volunteer at Tucson Medical Center and Temple Emmanuel. Loved by all her family and friends. In addition to Mathew Fairberg, she is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ramiel (Alan) of Staton, Island; two granddaughters, Jessie Ramiel and Jenny Ramiel both of New York City; nephews, Bob and Mitch Dorson of Tucson. A private service will be held in New York on Sunday, January 3, 1999. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Staton Island University Hospice, 256 Mason Avenue, Staton Island, New York 10305.

FIERRO, Frederick J., 73, of Tucson, passed away December 26, 1998. Survivors include his sons, Joseph A., Jessie M.; grandchildren, Christopher James and Ryan Joseph Fierro and one sister, Mary Anne Carillo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Johnson Fierro. Known to everyone as 'Papa Joe', he was a retired miner from San Manuel. Friends may call at ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 E. University Blvd., Sunday, January 3, 1998 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Holy Hope Cemetery, Monday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m.

KENDALL, Frances W., 88, passed away Monday, December 28, 1998. Preceded in death by her husband, Mack Kendall; father, Henry G. Forseille and mother, Lizzie Rosselot. Survived by her son, John Kendall of Tucson; a brother, Ray Forseille of Port Charlotte, FL and several nieces and nephews. Frances was a member of Mowrystown United Methodist Church, Highland County Senior Citizens, Eastern Star and the Whiteoak Valley Grange. Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 1999 between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Edgington Funeral Home in Mowrystown, OH. Rev. John Collins will be officiating the service January 4 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sardinia Cemetery. Memorials go to Mowrystown United Methodist Church. Arrangements by ARIZONA MORTUARY.

McDOWELL, Clara, 86, of Tucson, died December 30, 1998. Sister of Cleva L. Burton of Healdton, Oklahoma. Also survived by three nieces. MENDEZ, Janet K., died December 30, 1998 of a heart attack. She is survived by husband, Aristeo Mendez; son, Edward Arnold (Becky). No services will held.

MOORE, John J., Ret. Col. USAF, passed away December 22, 1998. Born December 17, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA., he is survived by his wife, Dorothy C. Moore and daughter, Jean L. Moore; sister, Joan Fahy of No. Wales, PA.; and brother, Arthur L. Moore of Westchester, PA. Both deceased, his mother, Maine Rose Dugan and father, Joseph Patrick Moore, were from Upper Darby, PA. Starting as a private, John completed his dedicated 27 years of service in 1963, His last assignment before retirement was Director of Personnel at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. From 1970 to 1980 he was at the main branch of Valley National Bank in downtown Tucson. John will be remembered for his warm cheerful outgoing personality. He will be greatly missed as my loving helpmate of nearly 57 years. He had the confidence to face reality and the courage to withstand the 'winds of change'. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 4, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. at Davis-Monthan Air Force Chapel #1. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements were by EVERGREEN MORTUARY, CEMETERY & CREMATORY.

Survived by daughters, Socorro (Tomas) Almazan, Rosa 'Nona' Cavazos, Aida (Jose) Yanez and Gloria Marin Chavez; sons, Telesforo (Yolanda), Ted and Frank Marin; sister-in-law, Mercy Miranda; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 03, 1999 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. Margaret's Church, 801 N. Grande Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Monday, January 04, 1999, 10:00 a.m., also at St. Margaret's. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
