Dale W. Bullington, Jr., 64, passed peacefully in Honolulu, HI. September 15, 2003. He was born, raised in Lake Preston, SD. Dale served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 through 1962. He had recently retired from a distinguished career in real estate sales and managed manufactured home dealerships. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, Loyal Order of Moose, and the VFW.
Dale leaves behind his beloved wife, Celia Bullington of Yuma; his loving children, “Trey” Dale W. Bullington, III of San Diego, CA, Michael P. Bullington, of Honolulu, HI; daughter, Kimberly A. Passmore of Sacramento, CA; brother, Jan Bullington of Gold Beach, OR; sisters, Rita Laundreaux of Banning, CA, Zoe Kaysen of Glendora, CA, and Lynn Brent of Las Vegas, NV; parents, Dale and Ethlyn Bullington of San Diego, CA, as well as 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., September 20, 2003, at Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Yuma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Yuma County Special Olympics, 16855 Ave. A, Somerton, AZ85350, in memory of Dale Bullington.

William W. Chisholm Jr., 72, of Yuma, died Sept. 18, 2003, in Yuma.
He was born April 25, 1931, in Pasadena, Calif., and was a retired bank manager for First Interstate Bank.

Alison Hannah Greiner
Our beautiful daughter Alison Hannah lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 17, 2003 at the tender age of two. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and closest friends.
Alison was born October 28, 2000 at Yuma Regional Medical Center. She brought so much joy to so many people in her short life, and her fighting spirit and bravery are traits that should inspire us all.
Alison joined in Heaven her Grandpa Curt Kringen and her cousin Chad Kocabinski.
She left behind her parents Stephan and Sonja Greiner, sister Erin, and brother Max of Yuma, her brothers, Zachary, Ryan, and Nicholas of Phoenix, Grandparents Paul and Marjorie Greiner and Grandma Althea Greiner of Denver, Grandma Phyllis Kringen of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and numerous loving, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22nd at the MCAS Chapel at 4:00p.m. with a reception following immediately in the adjoining fellowship hall.
Any memorial donations can be put in an account at AEA Federal Credit Union (Acct #44703) that has been established in her mother’s name. These funds will then be given to a children’s cancer research facility yet to be determined.

A funeral Mass for Dr. Roman F. Strobel will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
He was born Dec. 24, 1914, in St. Cloud, Minn., and was a retired dental surgeon. He died Sept. 16, 2003, at his Yuma home at age 88.
Mario C. Lopez
Mario C. Lopez, 77, of Yuma, died Sept. 18, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Veracruz, Mexico, and was an agricultural laborer.
All services will be held in San Luis Rio Colorado, Son., with burial to take place in La Grullita, Son.

Harriet T. Nelms, of Yuma, died Sept. 15, 2003, at Life Care Center of Yuma at age 84.
Born Sept. 22, 1918, in Hanska, Minn., she was an office manager.

Bud L. McCall
Bud L. McCall, of Yuma, died Sept. 20, 2003, in Tucson at age 64.
Born Dec. 8, 1938, in Arcata, Calif., he was a law enforcement officer and also served in the Navy.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Yuma Mortuary. A funeral service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Yuma.
Genevieve Orozco Salazar, of Yuma, died Sept. 20, 2003, at Yuma Regional Medical Center at age 78.
Born Nov. 28, 1924, in Bakersfield, Calif., she had been a hotel manager.

Bud L. McCall
Bud McCall, 64, passed away September 20, 2003 in Tucson, Arizona after a long battle withcancer. He was born December 8, 1938 in Arcata, California.
He graduated from East Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, CA. Bud served in the US Navy in 1959 and 1960 where he served in Vietnam before the start of the Vietnam War.He worked at various jobs before moving to Yuma in 1963. He went to work for the Yuma County Sheriffs Department in 1965, where he retired after 20 years. Bud then went to work as a security guard at YPG, and then went on to work for the US Customs and Immigration and Naturalization, completing his Public Service with the US State Department at the Consulate inNogales, Mexico. He retired due to illness in 2000.
Bud leaves behind his wife, Eustolia McCall, of Amado, AZ; step-daughter, Giselle , of Amado, AZ; brother, Sam (Glynda) McCall, of Huachuca City, AZ; sister, Sandra (Charles), Heaton, of Yuma, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
Visitation will be held at Yuma Mortuary on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 10:00am at the LDS Church on 8th Avenue and 29th Street. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Yuma Mortuary is handling all arrangements.
Pallbearers will be the Yuma County Sheriffs Department.

Charles W. Taylor
Charles W. Taylor, 80, passed away at home on September 20, 2003 in Yuma. Charles was born January 13,1923 in Naylor, Missouri. He has resided in the Somerton and Yuma areas since the 1940’s and along with his loving wife Kathryn has raised a wonderful family.
Charles is retired from the Yuma County Fairgrounds, where he was supervising groundskeeper for 31 years. The 2003 Yuma County Fair was dedicated in his honor for his many years of service.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathryn: sons, Larry (Cheryl), Tommy (Susan); daughter, Patsy (Taylor) McBride of Yuma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Chris (Tiffany) Taylor, Tim (Jessica) Taylor, Patrick (Annalisa) McBride, Jeffery (Kelly) McBride, Shawn (Jerry) Wofford of Yuma, Lisa (Dan) Charney, San Francisco, CA. Tracy Tunnell, El Cajon, CA. and thirteen great grandchildren, Zachary and Morgan Taylor, Brett and Jocelyn Taylor, Reyn and Halen McBride, Kaitlyn McBride, Blake and Ross Wofford, Jake and Max Charney, Tanner and Brooke Tunnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rose Marie and son Danny.
Pallbearers will be Chris Taylor, Tim Taylor, Pat McBride, Jeff McBride, Dan Charney and Jerry Wofford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kelly Watkins, June Melton, Ralph Ogden, Jack Crain, Ray Eades and John Kovatch.
