McKISSICK, Lucy, 92, of Tucson for the past 57 years, died March 10, 1999. preceded in death by husband of 71 years, James McKissick. Survived by sons, James E. TINDELL, William Arnold, 82, passed away on March 9, 1999 in the VA Medical Center, Tucson. He was the husband of Novella M. (Simmons) Tindell. The couple was married
for 55 years. Born in Grand Falls, MN, the son of the late William Douglas and Mary Kristin (Nelson) Tindell. He was a resident of Tucson, AZ for the past 32 years. He was a career military serviceman Master Sergeant with the US Air Force. During WW II, he trained B-29 crews. For the remainder of his career, he established engine build-up at several Air Force Bases throughout the country. He also served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by a son, Robert (Marsha) Tindell of Tucson; three grandchildren, Tara Tindell of Las Vegas, NV, Michael (Anna) Tindell of Tucson, Billy Leverton of Westminster, CO; a great-granddaughter, Kristi Tindell of Tucson; three step-grandsons, Scott, Todd and David Acorn all of Tucson; three sisters, Minnie Buckmiller, Hazel Grenier and Mary Ellen Panchot, all of Littlefort, MN. He was predeceased by a son, William L. Tindell. He was a gentle giant loved by all. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. in EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., followed by full military honors. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 12, 1999 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, an aftercare provider. DAGGETT, James Nathaniel Sr., died March 12, 1999 in the Villa Maria Care Center. He is survived by his wife, Gisele; three children, Susan M. (Bill) Black, James N. Gisele Lavoie in June 1939. Jim retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1979. Jim was a loving, caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
